Day 91 - The buds are frosty and getting more denser every week.

Last year I’ve tried my first Blueberry’s family strain ever, the Blue Cheese. I loved her. One of the best high I’ve ever had. Since then, I decided to try them all. I chose this strain because she is almost 100% indica and because I wanted to do a RQS only cycle, and unfortunately they didn’t have the original Blueberry (please RQS, add her to the catalog!!!). By the way, although I have two Blue Mystic, only this one has her own diary. Her sister is similar, but located at the opposide side of the box. Well, they have been the first, together with the Gorilla, to show pistils and then create the first small flowers. Couldn’t be happier, especially after the problem (with a defective digital timer) that caused the flowering phase to delay by 2 weeks. I’ve just removed some lower leaves that coudn’t get the right amount of light, and since the soil was a bit dry, I’ve given 500ml of water (and nuts) more. Because of the delay (in which I’ve started giving bloom nuts), I’ll have to give them “week 3” nuts for two more weeks, maybe reducing by 50% the B-52 and Big Bud dosages (they could be a little too much). Dialing in the VPD with TrolMaster’s Tech Now, let’s talk VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) and how I’ve been keeping everything in check with the Tend-X and the incredible (DSH-2U) Humidity Station. Welcome to week 7 growmies! She’s doing great in her second week of flowering! She is still stretching and got a bigger defoliation at the end of week 6. For the start she’s getting only ph regulated water from top and some nutrients from bottom. There a little signs on the leaf tip why I skip nutrients for one watering cycle. On mid of week 7 she’s still stretching and first orange pistils shown up. On weekend she’s getting another defloration and another round of nutrients. We are finishing week 7 shortly! She was defoliated once again to ensure more light density in lower conopy. She’s doing still great and she’s not showing any signs of stress or leak of nutrients. It seems that she’s also stopped stretching. Looking forward to the next weeks!

UPDATE: Day 2 of week 9 Saturday 17th October: Nutes in today and more LST. Defo running out of space, so LST is proving more tricky and stems are less bendy now and much easier to crease! I’m tempted to not try too much more teasing of the plant and purely work on light height from here on in.. I don’t wanna mess up all my hard work by trying to force the plants too hard, damage them and stress them out. Other than that all looking great and pistils coming through lovely 😊 UPDATE- Day 4 of week 9: Monday 19th October Nutes in again. Increased the BioBizz Top Max this week to 3ml/l so let’s see how they respond. One girl looks like she’s a little slower than the others but other than that happy days. Oh and the crease I made in the main stem on one of my ladies last watering, doesn’t seems to have suffered any for it thankfully.. UPDATE: Day 6 of week 9 Wednesday 21st October; Nutes in and a little defoliation. Have a mild case of thrips, so I’m concerned about what products to use as I’m now in the 3rd week of flower and don’t want to spoil the buds or taste.. Argh! Since putting in the dehumidifier temps have soared which is what’s causing the thrips.. Gonna use the cardboard box method for the dehumidifier to get it out the tent, just need to pickup an aluminium hose and ducting tape. Pretty pissed as I’ve had such a smooth ride up till now. Really don’t wanna spoil my first grow. Thinking some Neem oil may help but worried about spoiling the buds ☹️ Happy growing peeps! 💚✌️🏼

It's raining cats and dogs here (lucky there's no chinese around LMFAO) and the humidity is 100% so today Ive chopped this little lady down and she is now drying up in my shed with fans going 24/7. I was quite pleased with the amount of bud I got off her and it's smelling fantastic and is very sticky.The trichomes were very milky with a few amber as well. 😍 very easy to grow no fuss and no problems but we'll have to wait and see as to whether she is a good smoke or not . In this week, most of the plants have developed pistils. I will keep using vegetation fertilizer for a few days, until they evolve completely. I also decided to use scrog method to keep the plants at the same height.

She bounced back well from the crap leds she's now under a mars hydro 600 watt and loving it transplanted her to a 3 gallon pot as this will be her home for the rest of her life . She's a little stretchy from the crap led. So I micro topped her the ocean Forrest soil burned her a bit but not enough to flush her

Well she popped up very fast as to be expected these beans just explode with growth . The only thing holding my girl back was the container I put her into a 400 ml container made of glass .The first issue I had was green algae on my roots from the lights so I covered the glass from light. Then it was the constant watering that had to be done as she drank a lot.. The plants structure was good and the smell as well it is a great smelling strain from the 2nd week it was flowering .At the end she started to smell string of skunk and and another smell I can't say what exactly . The team at fast buds has a great line up of genetics and I'm going to try my hand at some more in the near future ..cheers everybody and good luck anyone else growing in the solo cup challenge ...

Unfortunately I do not yet know what I did wrong with the grow. The plants had difficulties in the vegetation phase and hardly formed side branches and leaves, which is why the yield was so low ... Nevertheless, the smell and taste of the buds is very tasty. Certainly a very good strain but I could never exploit its full potential ...
