Week 31/3 - 6/4

And the first week of flower is amongst us, I’m not sure if it’s the fast bud genetics, the living soil, or a mixture of both, but I think the videos say it all, the deep green throughout, day 41 and just look😍. Everything’s been sitting nicely 24/7 Humidity 49~56%, temps 23~26c This week they all received there last top feed, along with a slight bit of defoliation, some massive fan leaves! slightly over watered as you will notice in one of the videos, but I won’t be surprised if they’ve grew another few inches over night.

Wow what a week this has been, the plants have all undergone fair dramatic changes. A real flurry of leaf yellowing, pistil darkening/curling, and bug swelling. The smell is really coming along now, I think we're really quite close to harvest. On the assumption that pre-flowering was two weeks, this strain should be ready at the end of week seven flowering, so in the case of this diary the end of week nine (i.e. one week to go!). Pistils are about 70-80% amber, and the lower pistils on buds have started curling inward. Trichomes look to me to be something like 10% clear 80% Milky 10% White. I have smoke tested a small bud off the lower part of plant 3 today after quick-drying overnight in the airing cupboard, taking into consideration the obvious chlorophyll from the fast dry, the high was much closer to what I am expecting than the last smoke test. It came on at the normal pace, was quite effective, and lasted a good while. I am really hoping I can navigate my way through the next process, as I feel quite close now to having some home grown bud for the first time. The plants are being well watered this evening with just water, and this will be the last time that I water them until harvest. I will continue to monitor these daily, I intend to harvest at the first sign of any amber trichome. Advice and comments welcomed. P.S. Exciting news! Week 1 of flower and she started her stretch. Using General Hydroponics Trio for feed along with TPS Signal and Recharge for soil. I'm considering adding a 2nd trellis, but it depends on how the next week or two goes. Did some light and final defoliating. Could have went more but I didn't want to risk overdoing, not until I'm more experienced anyway. Plus I recommend having a plant to experiment on and take some high-reward risks concurrent with your main grow.

The girls have grown nicely and accepts defoliation pretty well id say. I know this is a pretty discussed subjet , some say its bad but since i did not bought thoses seeds i figured awww why not give it a try! I am now switching to full bloom nutes

Well the second week of Veg, and all is proceeding nicely. I have been watching videos on youtube from Weed in a Pot and find they are very informative. I am very happy with the growth so far and will be adding nutes this coming weekend.

Welcome to the start of week 3. Plants are officially 2 weeks since sowed. Have a small PH issue. It is a bit high. Will be watering with a lower PH next water. Decided to remove the runt of the batch. I think 5 plants would have been too many for my grow space. Other than that plants look healthy and are growing nicely.

Clearly got dominated by her pot mate. Looks and smells awesome though. She got planted about a week after her pot mate. Maybe thats why she got the short end of the stick. These plants are not mine. 8/1 This wad the most fucked up morning ever. Didn't get much time with the girls. I was able to take a few pics when I got back amd a video this morning. Pillars are still around. I killed a couple but I probably should spray BT. I think we got rain last night. Bags are heavy. I defoliated a little bit more on the interior and found some small yellow leaves. Event horizon is still on point to flower first. I NEED to lst and add supports for flower bit I've got a lot of other things going on too. I'm going to TRY to spray BT tonight if weather permits and I should have the supports up this weekend. At least that's what I'm hoping. 8/2 Quickly watered as I had to fix a flat tire to get my wife to the doctor. Gave most a gallon but closer to 3/4 on one event horizon and the sherb pie. Half g for the 10 and I gave the 5 and the 50 a little water. I didn't give the 50 much. That holds water far longer. I'm glad I got it done. It was 90°+ and sunny all day. Earlier everything looked great. I think I'm gonna go check them and maybe add a few pictures. WENT OVER AND FOUND THE EVENT HORIZON I GAVE A LUTTLE LESS WATER TO, IN THE BACK COMPLETELY DEOOPED OVER AND DRY. I QUICKLY WATERED A GALLON. I CHECKED THE OTHER PLANTS AND SAW A COUPLE THAT "MIGHT'VE STARTED DROOPING BUT WERE LIGHT SO I GAVE ALL THE GMO'S HALF A GALLON. I WATERED THE CONTAINER PLANTS AND THE ONE IN THE 50. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY. THEY WERE SUPER LIGHT. SOME ARE SHOWING SOME HEAT STRESS BUT I DONT BLAME THEM WHEN ITS PUSHING 100° OUT. I HOPE THIS PLANT WILL PICK UP BUT ILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MORNING TO SEE. I GOTTA GO EAT DINNER AND IT WAS IN ROUGH SHAPE. CANT BELIEVE THIS. ITS THE FURYHEST IN FLOWER TOO. INTERNET TOO SLOW TO UPLOAD 8/3 This morning it was "maineing" out. Basically like raining but more of an alternating mist. The event horizon that looked DEAD is completely recovered! I'm so stoked. I've had a really rough few days but at least I've still got my girls. After this little bit of rain I'll do the supports and a spray of BT for the pillars. I'm noticing more damage and I don't want them arpund when they can burrow into buds. WENT BACK AT LIKE FIVE. THE 5 GAL WAS DROOPING AND THE 10 WAS DRY AF. OTHERS WERE ALSO LIGHT. I USED 5 GALLONS ON THE GARDEN AS SOME STILL "LOOKED GOOD" BUT WERE DUSTY AND DRY. I ONLY GAVE THE GMO IN THE 30 A HALF GALLON. DIDNT WATER THE ECENT HORIZON IN THE BACK AND THE GMO IN THE FRONT BY THE DOOR ASXTHE LOOKED GOOD AND STILL HAD SOME WEIGHT TO THEM. THIS WAS ANOTHER DAY IN THE 90s THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE RAINED. LUCKILY IVE GOT THAT INTUITION AND I CAN CHECK. CAMS HELP WITH THAT BUT ITS BEST TO CHECK A FEW TIMES A DAY IN WEATHER LIKE THIS. FAR TO HOT TO SPRAY ANYTHING. 8/4 Chose not to water as we were supposed to get an inch of rain, then a half in and now it says .1in. I'm going to go over and check on the garden and see what they look like. I took pictures but I'll have to wait to upload them. WENT BACK OVER IN THE AFTERNOON AROUND 2ISH. GMO IN THE FRONT WAS DROOPY. WATERED THAT A GALLON AND IT WAS UP BY THE TIME I LEFT. THE GMO ON THE END (MY CANARY) WAS SUPER LIGHT SO SHE GOT A GALLON. THE EVENT HORIZON I DIDNT WATER YESTERDAY GOT ABOUT 3/4 OF A GALLON AND I WATERED THE ONE IN THE 10 1/2 GALLON. SHOWERS ARE IN THE FORECAST AND EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKED PRETTY GOOD AND WASNT DEAD LIGHT. AS OF 3 EVERYTHING IS GOOD. I IMAGINE ILL PROBABLY NEED TO WATER SOMETHING TOMORROW. IT SUCKS HAVING TO DO THIS SEPERATELY BUT SOMETIMES THATS HOW IT GOES. I DONT EXPECT THESE 90 TEMPS WILL CONTINUE. ALSO NOTICING SOME FADING AS THEY TURN TO FLOWER. DEF NEED NUTES. AND ONCE THE TEMPS GO DOWN I NEED TO SPRAY EITHER BT OR SPINOSID. 8/5 It Rained last night so I didn't need to water. Everything was nice and heavy. Beautiful day today. Hopfully I can do an app of bt tonight. Weather man needs to get things right. It says we got .005in last night but I heard it and it was way more than that. This is a tiny town. WENT BACK OVER AND FED. EVERYTHING GOT 1.75 PINTS. THE 10 GOT HALF THAT. THE FIVE A LITTLE LESS. I DEFINATELY NEED TO SPRAY FOR PILLARS. I ALSO HAVE A BIT OF DEFOLIATING ON A COUPLE PLANTS THAT I NEED TO DO. USUALLY I'VE LOST TONS OF LEAVES BY NOW. I JUST NEED TO IMPROVE AIRFLOW. THE TRELLIS WILL HELP WITH THAT PLUS SUPPORT. I THINK I MAY BE ABLE TO SPRAY PISSIBLY TONIGHT (DEPENDING ON WEATHER) AND SUPPORTS AND DEFOLIATION THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

She’s looking good, still growing her buds more frosty and dense. She smells citrusy and piney so far. She’s continuing to fatten and frost.

Third week in bloom. Everything is going well. My only concern is that I have defoliated too much and my humidity is too high. Difficult to get it down when it's just raining outside. I'll see what happens... 19.12.2023 I've made some space and flanged my old 60x60x120cm tent on the right site and switched on another PC fan. I hope I haven't made a serious mistake. All fans repositioned. And everything is taped off so that no light comes in. That was too crowded. Next time 4 or 5 will be enough for me.

Well this week was a huge learning curve, shoutout to @jinks101 for being a great mentor and helping me with these two girls. SO I think it's nitro toxicity or they needed nutes. My soil only has nitrogen in it, and after reaching out to the company I learned I need to supplement more. They are lanky af, but I also think having my light not as close for sure did that stretch. I;'m not really happy with these two but it's my first autos and first grow in general. They are starting to show pistils. The first sets of fan leaves are basically a write off due to the curling, but the last sets so far hasn't been effected. I will continue to give them nutes and keep my eyes peeled. PH of soil, water and runoff all good, RH is 50 % ISH fluctuates a little bit but overall steady.

Wow, coming along. The girls are really getting smelly. I actually added a second carbon filter on the exhaust & have invested in a dehumidifier, keeping the humidity levels at 50% for the rest of the grow. It is running 24/7 draining into a bucket outside of the tent. I will use the water from the dehumidifier to feed my girls. I also managed to get some cal mag to help my burnt edges. Other things I have changed for this week as we are preflowering is switching the schedule from 24 hours of light to 18/6. I think this has helped the plants get some much needed rest after vegging. 12th of August. I think I can see it starting to flower!! * Minor defoliation to remove leaves that are damaged from watering at the bottom of the plant 16/08/22 Grow question ADAM BASE A - NPK 3-0-1 (3 ml/l) EVE BASE B - NPK 0-4-3 (3 ml/l) LUSH - NPK 5-0-0.5 (1 ml/l) RAPTURE - NPK 0.7-3-3 (1.5 ml/l) Herbi Cal mag NPK: 4 – 0 – 0 (1.8ml/l) 1L ADAM & EVE: Your base Nutrient, used from start to finish. 1L LUSH: Veg stage focused nutrient additive. 1L Rapture: Applied in early Bloom/Flowering. I water around 1.5 liters of mixed water PH'd to 5.8 to each plant, giving me about 20-30% run off. Am I overwatering my plants? Update! 17/08/22 I flushed the plants with 4 liters of water each using half the nutrients I was using before 13ml to 9l Adam 13ml to 9l Eve 6ml to 9l Lush 8ml to 9l Cal mag Left out the bloom - I'll add it again for the next feed. The canoeing I had on the smaller plant already seems less intense - hopefully see some good changes as we head into the next week for flowering. Today I will do a more invasive defoliation on the big plant, removing all of the fan leaves on the bottom - stay tuned for week 5 starting tomorrow. A few more weeks and hopefully we get some nice juicy buds!!!

17.12 F47 I am definitely thinking I mixed up the seeds now. The 2 in the airpots are now likely to be the same strain and I'm guessing royal gorilla because of the purpleing. The 2 in the fabric pots must be cookies gelato. They are taller, greener and way thicker stems. If anyone could chime in and help me out identifying the two strains that would be appreciated 🤦‍♂️ Still no nutes given. Under 12 hours of spiderfarmer light 19.12 Day 49 Noticed some odd (or not) deformeties on the 2 (what I believe to be after the potential mixup) cookies gelato....

Day 83...they are ready for harvest however I only just began flushing. This is my 1st try and I missed timed it. Buds are heavy and reseinous. Smelling sweet. Maybe I havest in the morning and forget the flush. Day 84..harvest pheno that was topped. The buds are not as dense on this one....I did not flush this one...the other I will flush for two day and give 24hrs darkest before I havest. Which will be sometime later today. Day 85..chopped the others today.

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 4/11- Here we go into the second week of life for my FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower and she's doing really well! All I'm doing right now is making sure that her medium remains moist, watering only when necessary. I'm checking her root development daily and she will be ready to transplant outdoors any day now! 4/13- Today is TRANSPLANT DAY! I moved the GG4 Sherbet outside to her prearranged 'new home' which I had previously prepped by adding some Coco/Perlite into the soil to improve the texture and drainage. I then pre-amended the soil with Gaia Green 4-4-4 All Purpose slow release dry amendment along with 3g of Wiggle Worm castings, 2 cups of ground Alfalfa and 1/4 cup of Extreme Gardening's MYCOS. After which, I kept the soil moist to allow the microbial colony to populate for a week. To transplant, I first made a hole then placed a Solo cup in it to make sure that the depth was adequate, then packed the medium up against the cup firmly which leaves a nice Solo cup shaped hole in the ground. I then wet the inside of the hole that I formed and coated the hole with Extreme Gardening's MYCOS root enhancer, after which I removed the GG4 Sherbet from her Solo cup and placed her snugly into her new home! After planting her in the ground all that was left to do was lightly water her in... Let the fun begin!🤪 4/15- The GG4 Sherbet FF from FastBuds is doing extremely well in her new environment. To be quite honest I was slightly hesitant to place her outside this early as we are only getting approximately 13 or so hours of sunlight daily. Based on my experience last year growing a Gorilla Cookies FF, which was placed outside at a similar time and did extremely well, I went ahead with the transplant, confident that she would be just fine. 4/17- I'm watering around every 2-3 days right now using water straight from my well through a garden hose... super simple! I do not worry about PH as long as the water isn't chlorinated and is good enough for me to drink, it's good enough for my plants and the microbial colony in the soil will adjust the PH to where they need it and at the same time provide the nutrients that the plant requires... again, nice and simple. Well there goes two weeks for this little lady.
