I have experimented with a timelapse setup, which I hope in time will replace the manual photos, check out the footage from half of last week (I have footage from further back, but it was unstable). Day 2: Watered slightly, with way less water than usual as I am afraid of the soil not being able to dry out. Day 7: Watered.

Non penso, forse questa genetica a crescita veloce si sta facendo sentire, anche lei l ho toppata 4 volte per limitate la crescita in altezza, ma sto notando che è quella che ha il fusto più spesso e di conseguenza anche le foglie più sviluppate e l altezza in generale, vedremo come prosegue, ma prospetto un grande futuro per questa pianta! Da die Ladys echt viel Biomasse hatten, hab ich das Netz rausgenommen, um alle Ladys nochmal zu defolieren. Die Punch Pie... mein neues Problemkind. Der Pheno scheint versagt zu haben.... ein Bud fängt an zu bleachen... und ich hab 9x Nanner-Säcke gefunden. Eine Zwitterdame... an sich war ich echt zufrieden mit ihren Wuchs und ihren Buds... aber sowas ist natürlich wieder scheiße.

Still vegging, no preflower yet. Spreading her out till mid-flower. Hopefully she'll be a big girl. Accidentally snapped a branch in half attempting to supercrop. Taped it up, looking good as new... Been switching to led when temps from mh are too high...

We're starting to make some progress, leaves are looking good. Gaining some decent height, not too much. I'm probably going to top her, so I'm keeping an eye on the optimal time to do that. Beginning of week.. I lost count of the days.. Stupid rookie move.. I know lol.. She is doing great tho.. Roots have made it to the bottom of the cup.. I love these plants.. Cant wait to see what Ethos is all about! Even tho I'm not expecting an amaxing yield since I'm doing 12/12 from seed. Mid week.. She is beginning to sprout branches.. They are still pretty tiny but should be spittin out any day now.. Its crazy how every strain can have different leaves.. Differences in the serrated part.. Skinny.. Fat.. Long.. Short.. This girl here is pretty different than others I have grown.. I feel like Ethos is NOT going to let me down!.. End of week.. I see the branches have came out a little more.. Still kinda small still.. Looking a little asymmetrical as well.. Ugh.. But I think I read somewhere that sometimes great genetics do stupid shit like that lol.. Oh well.. The end product is what matters.. Just trying to keep her happy and healthy for now and so far so good.. Some weird discoloration on one of the leaves but thats looking more like a mutation more than anything wrong with her growing.. Can't wait to see what beauty she blossoms into!

Aug 8: Gorilla Cookies Fast is doing great. She has the best overall shape of this year’s plants and it is the fastest flowering plant of the four. Had the AC Infinity UV lights out for the first time today. The strength of UV light drops quickly here in mid-August but these lights make up for it. The UV lights could be used just near solar noon (about 1:30 here now) but they’re LED which means low power demand so I just leave them on during the day. These are indoor lights so only on non-rain days outside. Aug 9: sunny day and have UV lights going too. Aug 10: no UV lights today. Used Green Sensation from Plagron for first time this afternoon. More defoliation to improve airflow and to get the plant to focus on the big buds.

Day 49- This week I think we cut out the nutes and let them finish, atleast for the mbrxgp. The Pablo’s revenge looks to be about a week or so behind so we’ll go until they’re finished. Smells on the mbrxgp is heavy citrus, lemon almost, slight gas. Pablo’s are very earthy, I’m expecting a hashy, dank finish for them.

Noticed nitrogen deficiency last week with yellowing veins and some fading of new growth below. Flushed and checked pH before adding a heavy feeding of Grow Big. After a few days some color returned and she has livened back up.

Put one of the OG kush plants into Flower. Will have to start another diary for the one I'm keeping in get for longer

I am excited to try out this new gorilla cookies from fastbuds. I originally started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irritated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.
