Started flushing with RO water on day 47

A lot has been going on this week. I performed a slurry test at the start of the week to get updates on the soil. pH is way too low and it's starting to miss nutrients, so I started feeding again once a week at low dosage. I noticed that the new leaves are slowly yellowing probably because of the low pH. I plan a curative flush at high pH to reset it. The runoff should give better readings on what's going on than the slurry test. I built an elevated platform made from metal trays I found at the dollar store to collect it more easily. Game changer really. LST has begun. Stems are chunky and already hard to bend but the job was easy with the new floral wire I use. I used to have a very thin one that I couldn't stick in the ground. The irrigation system Is fully working now and all automatic. I still need to adjust the time it's on and off to get the perfect watering. The algae problem is solved and I didn't have to use any algaecide or filtration system. I simply put 0,5ml/L of 29% H2O2 in my reservoir. Hydrogen peroxide is antibacterial and it also helps with the oxygen levels of the water. With continuous aeration, protection from light and H2O2, the water in the tank is good for at least 5 days. 7 in fact if I count the 2 days for chlorine evaporation. I also now have a 3000L/h water pump and the sprinklers can respectfully be called by their real name. The video shows what it was before with an 800L/h pump. I didn't had the chance to record with the new system.

Hello Diary. Finished and the third week of flowering, Purple Punch has reached a height of 67 cm and I think it has reached its maximum. 👆 All three plants are now the same height which is great considering the position of the light. At the end of the week I did a defoliation, I cleaned the lower leaves and branches on both plants, but most of all I had to fix their roommate Watermelon whose leaves took on a yellowish color with brown spots. Although the treatment was the same for all three plants, these symptoms did not appear on Purple Punch. If the cause is over feeding, then the conclusion is that Purple Punch is a much more resistant plant. 💪 The flowers develop nicely, are full of already visible trichomes and begin to take on an increasingly intense scent. After all, everything can be seen in detail in the photos. At this stage of flowering I started doing photos on a black background, the photos are much nicer. All in all, I am pleased with how Purple Punch is progressing, both plants look healthy and satisfied. I added nutrients when watering to finally see which dose is optimal for them, but given Watermelon, it’s hard to judge when each strain reacts differently. For now, Purple Punch is not complaining. 👌 Here is a brief overview of the week. 04/03/2021 - Day 37. Watering. I regulated p.H. at 6.3 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick, and added one Easy Bloom Booster tablets to a total of 7 gallons of water. With that, I watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.3 degrees and 41% humidity. 08/03/2021 - Day 41. Watering. p.H. I regulated to 6.2, I added 1ml / lit CalMg and BioBizz as scheduled for the third week of flowering. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 39% humidity. 09/03/2021 - Day 42. Defoliation and photography. I photographed the plants in the Box, to see the current condition and after that I did a defoliation. For the end, I took the final photos of the plant for the end of the 6th week. La lotta biologica che sto facendogli con le mie care amiche coccinelle 🐞 funziona Super bene...fossero state tutte larve di coccinelle 🐞 era ancora meglio.si perché la voracità che ha la larva di coccis è incomparabile....poi le larve non volano aggirro. Stanno sulle foglie e mangiano tutto. Uova ragni rossi ecc....

Day 8 - Girls starting to come on now. Looks like their roots have settled and starting to see some pokies coming out of the bottom of the root pouches so hopefully start to see some good growth beginning soon. Get them ready for training and the likes. Not changed the water this week (really should have as temp has been up a bit...into the 25's in the tank but plenty of Great White in there and no roots in water yet but...) - topping up with plain water to keep the EC level and just pH adjusting. Last weeks solution was a bit hot for my liking but no burn signs so should be good for a couple more days yet. Got some iceline procured so been cleaning/flushing/sterilising the Hailea for getting it installed (That's when the water change will happen...likely to last weeks strength & recipe). Cant wait to get that in to get tank temps down (as roots will be in the water in about 5 days by the looks of things...tops!!! Also have the Torus Hydro pH Perfect Inline run through for a couple of days so it will be ready to go in to keep the pH good for me (A grow off and my pH skills are out the window!!! 😜). Just waiting on a Sicce Syncra 3.0 to pump the chiller and the pH Perfect (Bit overkill @ 2700LpH but looking something for the URDWC I am building for next year...thought the extra pressure would help with the inline pH adjuster too). She is a beast at the end of week 5 (day 35). LST Goal: Create an even FLAT Canopy with out the use of Scrog nets or stakes. This is achieved by tying down all the branches evenly, so that every top gets the same amount of exposure to light, air and nutrients.

The time has come!!!! I was gonna give it a couple more days but I’m too antsy and want to get this girl drying already. I will be cutting her down at the end of today she has been getting straight water these past week she isn’t getting any color just yellowing of the leaves. She smells minty when defoliating but the buds smell skunky and dank asf. Light green buds remind me of old school weed I used to smoke in HS shits amazing.

Día 88 y penúltimo antes del corte. Ya se aplicó Flawless Finish para un acabado impecable como su nombre lo indica. Siempre prefiero hacer el lavado de raiz solo aplicando agua en las últimas 2 semanas, pero esta vez lo hice aplicando el finalizador y luego los últimos riegos con agua purificada. La verdad es que estoy contento con los resultados de esta nena, que es hermosa por cierto, desprende olores ácidos, cítricos, dulces. Los colores son hermosos y las flores están rebosantes de tricomas, lo que la vuelve muy vistosa. Es todo por ahora, estaré manteniendoles informados en estos últimos días. Buenos humos! 👽

It was poured once with about 200 ml because it is still under the hood with very high humidity that is enough :-). Next week the hood will be opened bit by bit so that it can get used to the surroundings :-). Otherwise the tent was cleaned and the humidifier refilled every day this week.
