Day 50 – Officially Entering Bloom 🌸 We’ve crossed a beautiful milestone—flowering has officially begun! The pre-flowers are stacking up with intent, and the entire structure is shifting focus to its reproductive mission. It’s a joy to witness the transition as the energy starts moving into the upper canopy. This FastBuds CBD strain is showing phenomenal resilience and grace despite the unpredictable UK weather. Over the past few days, the plant faced intense rain and strong wind gusts, which even knocked it off its perch. But just like a warrior, she got back up—no broken limbs, no complaints, just a stronger stem and a deeper green. I’ve now placed the pot inside a larger container to stabilise it and protect against slug patrols during cold, damp nights. A simple hack, but one that offers big peace of mind! This grow is intentionally minimalistic. No tents, no synthetic boosters, no artificial support—just super soil, pH-balanced tap water, natural sun, and trust in the process. Every drop of rain and every beam of sunlight becomes part of the story. It’s an outdoor symphony powered by patience and the pure intent to create top-quality CBD oil—without the psychoactive effects, but with all the healing potential. She’s now standing tall at approximately 70 cm, stretching with elegant confidence and building a promising framework of bud sites. There’s something incredibly humbling about letting nature lead. And with a strain like this from FastBuds.com, it’s a rewarding partnership between growers and genetics. More to come, but for now—we bloom. Day 52 – The Lazy Grow Philosophy Blossoms in the Sun The sun has finally graced us in full, and this lady is soaking it all in with impressive vigour. After days of cool nights and unpredictable weather, we’ve hit a warm spell in the UK, and with sunlight pushing close to 2000 µmol/m²/s, the plant is thriving beautifully. Each bud site is now clearly forming, and the flowering stage is confidently underway. This grow continues to be a tribute to minimalism. No added nutrients, no shelters, no complicated routines—just a solid super soil mix I crafted myself and plain pH-balanced tap water. Even the pot is set inside a bucket simply to prevent slug invasions and wind topples. It’s proof that you don’t need a fancy setup or big budget to get strong results. Let nature do the work. The goal from day one has been a low-effort, low-cost, outdoor grow that relies on the resilience of genetics—and Fast Buds delivered. This is shaping up to be a perfect candidate for home-crafted CBD oil: robust, healthy, and totally psychotropic-free. Let’s see how far we can push this simple strategy. For now, she stands tall and strong—living proof that less really can be more.

Indica/Sativa Hybrid. Chitrali #1 (IBL) x Skunk no.1. Tall growing kush with a high yield. Lemon zest aroma with a sweet kush flavor. Lemon Cream Kush was cloned straight from original Chitrali #1 seeds, which we got from Pakistan (Hindu Kush valley) and stabilized using one of our proven Skunk #1 fathers. By extensively selecting and backcrossing the Chitral we have formed a very stable strain; stress proof and with only a few phenos. Our Lemon Cream Kush is an Indica/sativa hybrid with rock hard nugs and massive resin production. She has been long time favoured strain in Holland. Lemon Cream Kush is taller in stature and stretches a lot during flowering. She gives long dense kush buds. She is ideal for SCROG and very well suited for growing in more moderate climates, Indoor flowering takes 8-10 weeks, outdoors she is ready for harvest in October. Her smell is lemon with a piney twist. Delicious tasting bud with a sativa euphoric high and a mild bodystoned effect. There is no raciness or paranoia whatsoever, making her ideal for daytime medication against chronic pain and stress.

3 weeks :) The girl looks healthy and happy, now I'm looking forward to her rapid growth and she will get bigger :) Everything is going smoothly :) it will be an interesting experience, because this time I probably won't use LST at all, I haven't tried letting her grow naturally :) good luck to everyone.

Whats up everbody, the plants turned into flower and looking great so far. The scOG is doing its work. Love it. SOG needs so much effort, more than just 2 or 3 Plants. Thats insane. I hope its worth it.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Flowerings going well, day 10 now. The kush main colas are pretty much in the light which is a bit problematic but I have the hps dimmed to about 180 watts so its doing ok with being so close. I'm going to try feeding them a bit more than i have been. I definitely let them get a bit too big before I flowered them!

OCTOBER 20 (DAY 24): Week four has begun, and I am now so completely full of questions. I’ve got preflowers on at least 2 of the 3 plants, the terminal nodes (is that right?) on all three are looking... uh... busy... lots of long, skinny growth coming out of the bud sites. I am wondering if this means it’s time to start transitioning to bloom nutes, or if I’m a little early yet. On the subject of bloom nutes..... wtf? There are so many options, and it’s hard to tell what can be used with other things and what products are supposed to be direct competitors. This is definitely going to require some trial and error. I’m also not sure what to do about the lights. Because I’m using LST on some but not all of the plants, one is significantly taller than the others (and thus closer to the lights)... this looks like a grow question. OCTOBER 21 (DAY 25): After dealing with a runaway heat problem in my tent and major height discrepancies between the LST’ed plants and the control plant, I decided to reorganize the tent... again. I’ve got my tiny tent in a nook in my bathroom, and there aren’t any ports for intake fans at the bottom of the tent (just windows), so I had been running a small intake fan shoved right up between one of the mesh intake windows and the wall. That didn’t give a ton of open air for the intake fan to draw from, so I rotated the tent 90 degrees so the intake fan has the open room air to pull from. I also raised the LST’ed plants by about 6” so the canopies of all three plants will sit roughly equal. We’ll see if this works. Τoday I fed the plants again. I’m not sure if I am going to prefer to go the FF Bembe route or the AN Big Bud/Bud Candy/Overdrive route, so I am doing a side-by-side on my LST’ed plants. Plant 3 received Bud Candy today, while plant 1 will get Bembe starting next week. I have only been feeding the plants nutes once a week. I’m wondering if I should step that up or just stick to once a week unless the plants start squawking. Any feedback would be much appreciated. TL;DR: To flower or not to flower... to feed or not to feed... to water or not to water... these are the questions. Control plant = winning. ***************************** LST Kit Info ***************************** In case anyone is interested in the LST kit I am using: https://www.etsy.com/listing/831218796/growth-manipulation-kit-for-low-stress Engineered Essentials offers these in two sizes — regular and seedling/clone. I think these autos are small enough that I should have gone with the seedling size, but I have some on the way and will report back once I give them a shot and can compare.

11/14: Harvested all 3 LP's along with a blackberry. It took them a week to dry. Dry weights: plant A - 77g plant B - 64g plant C - 71g Final thoughts: It was easy weed to grow, and grew pretty tall, but a typical sativa....too much space between nodes. The buds didn't swell as much as the other varieties in this grow, but were some really lovely flowers, and they were covered in trichs. Doubt I grow it again. But, that's not to say it isn't great weed. Just not my favorite-

Some of the older leaves started yellowing, so I used a little bit of mineral fertilizer and also added a spoonful of bone and blood meal. Although I think it is quite natural for them to use mobile resources and for leaves to die off, I added some fertilizer just once, especially for the nitrogen deficiency. But it will be a one-time thing. Other than that, nothing special happened. I do hope that the buds are getting bigger, but right now, I don't see much progress this week, except on the buds on the lower branches. In less than two weeks, my grow tent and new setup should arrive, so maybe she will finish inside a proper tent, and I'll get my kitchen back 😂 She is really smelly right now.

Transplanted into the 5 gal smart bucket. Branches seem to be growing again. All main branches are tied down now, will take clones from the lower banches this week. But the red stems are worrying, I think she's stressed from repotting but I will wait and see. But the yellow new growth I will have to keep an eye on and do some reading. I was considering repotting to a 5 gal smart pot because I have the space but should leave it a while so she can recover. Thinking about what to do for flowering lights. don't know if low end LEDS might be a better option the cfls I have now.

Wow these girls have fatten up nicely over the last week. I am giving them at least 10 more days. They have some golden hairs and they are starting to get milky. I can't wait to try this strain out. 4/28 they each have grown an inch in a day and a half. Lightly defoliated a few large fan leaves to get light to the smaller buds underneath. This grow has been so easy. They have loved the coco and clay 50/50 mix and my nutes. I haven't increased anything in a few weeks. They have only had a few spots that may have been sun burns from a few light leaks that I noticed and covered with black crayon to fill the spaces, mainly around the zipper seam. Next grow I will increase from 6" pots to 8" self watering pots. They work like hydroponic without the bubbles. Watering twice daily keeps the buildup flushed out and with fresh nute water in the bottom of the pots, I have huge root balls under the inner pot. One or two weeks to go. Pink seems like she will be done first, followed by blue and purple. Green is huge so far but hasn't started to turn golden at all. 5/1 Had a friend stop by who actually works at a grow center and she told me that my babies were ripe and ready to pick. I'm not sure how everyone does it but she told me to pluck as many leaves as I could get to before turning the light off for 24 hours and then chop. She also said to hang the whole plant since they are small autos so I didn't harm the buds in the trimming and drying process. She said once they are dry to trim the remaining leaves for butter and oil for edibles then collect the buds from the stems. Pics will be added tomorrow of the drying setup. Last grow until September because we will be traveling for summer!!
