Happy Halloween cannafam! 🎃 Everyone continues to stretch and seem to be fully transitioned into flowering. Since today is Halloween, the girls got a special treat this morning; 10ml of my homebrew pumpkin FPE and 10ml of my pear FFJ😁. So far they seem to be loving it but I will continue to monitor them, obviously.

Big resinous and compact buds, strong smell of the tent its elongated stems are the buds on top getting fatter every week I hope to be surprised with this girl her looks are beautiful great coloring and leaves to go where I need to let her gain more weight and the amber colors are necessary in trichomes, feeding well and requiring more water than the others, even without pure water 😚

Plants are looking good, some yellow leaves, pulled them. Added B-52 to the nite mixture this week, it might help slow down the yellowing, will see by the end of the week.

The Mandarin Squeeze sisters are growing good. They are starting to bulk, and get some resin on the early flowers. Everything has been going smoothly. I did hst the bigger one some more today. I also have been driving the ph up a little each day to today. They are ready to go. They likely will need a solution change very soon. Day 1 Flower (Day 43) Wooohoooo! First day of flower! I decided to flip both plants after all. The thing is that I will be fully vaccinated against Corona by mid-July, and when that is done, I'm off on vacation. After 1,5 years of this pandemic crap, I'm more than ready to travel again, to see the world, meet new people, and have new experiences. So yeah, this strain is supposed to be a fast flowering strain (45 days!), so mid-July should do it. I switched to the Flower Induction light recipe in my main tent, and I will let that recipe run for some days before I switch over to the regular Flower recipe. The tiny tent has nothing so fancy and was switched to a regular 12/12 schedule. Speaking about lights. That cheap budget light that I bought for my veggies when I moved in my ViparSpectra light into the tiny tent broke down after only two days. So much for trying to save a bit by buying something cheap. I've already sent it back and won't get another light as I think the tomatoes and chilis are ready to move outside. I'll wait and buy this fall instead, but I won't go for the cheapest light I can find then. lol I was foliar feeding the girls with filtered compost tea while they were still sleeping. I only spray when the lights are out to avoid any leaf burns. A few hours later, after the girls woke up, I gave them each around 3 liters of unfiltered pH 6.2 compost tea. I FINALLY remembered to pH the compost tea. Woooooo!!! That was all today. Day 2 Flower (Day 44) Today was a really busy day. I opened the tents, took pics, closed up the tents. Phew! Exhausting. Day 3 Flower (Day 45) Alright, today was a bit more work than yesterday but still fairly relaxed. I watered the girls; the left one got 3 liters, and the right one got 4.5 liters of pH 6.0 water. I noticed a bit of light bleaching on the girl in the small tent, so I turned down the light a bit and increased the distance to the canopy. It is very tight in there, but that is expected with such a small tent. I will need to raise the light more in the future, and I'll probably have to resort to a bit of MacGyver-ism to make it work but that's a problem for a later day. The girl in the main tent has a bit of an uneven canopy where the left side is taller, so I raised the left light as the light level was around 1300 PPFD. I also super-cropped half a dozen branches to slow them down and let the rest of the canopy catch up. It's probably the last training I do before the girls go into flower. Finally, I did a bit of defoliating by removing a few leaves that weren't getting any light low down on the girls. Day 4 Flower (Day 46) Fuck. Disaster struck. I opened the main tent today and found that the CO2 bag had fallen down and broken one of the main branches. That one branch is responsible for about a quarter of the canopy, so losing it would suck. I got busy right away taping the broken branch and used some old chili stalks to support the branch further. I also watered it with around 1.5 liters of pH 6.5 water hoping that it will be beneficial. Now, all I can do is wait and hope for the best. For those of you who have been following this diary, you already know that I dislike this CO2 bag because it smells like shit. Literally. Now though, I really hate this friggin shit bag and its weird hanging contraption that is as shitty as the smell from the bag. Day 5 Flower (Day 47) So far so good. Last night, I checked in on her a couple of hours after I taped the broken branch and the left side of the canopy was already back up with no drooping leaves or branches. YES! However, it was still nerve-wracking to open the tent today but she looked just fine. Fingers crossed that it holds. Naturally, I don't want to disturb her much right now so all I did today was to water her and carefully LST a couple of branches that got messed up yesterday. I gave her 2 liters of pH 6-0 water and 1 liter of water to the girl in the small tent. Speaking of the small tent. There's some light bleaching on the tips of the leaves closest to the light so I turned down the dimmer even further down to 40%. I need to try to raise the light but can only gain another 5-7 cm. The tent is soo tiny lol. Will be interesting to see if she will even fit in there after the stretch is done. I also raised the lights in the main tent as the canopy was getting a bit close. That was it for today. Day 6 Flower (Day 48) Chill day today. All I did today was to water the girls 3 liters each of pH 6.5 water. Day 7 Flower (Day 49) Today was the end of a rather tumultuous first week of flower. It looks like I got lucky, though, and that the branch on the right girl will survive. She is growing strong and loving life. I am hopeful. She is a big girl and drinks a lot, so I'm watering her every day (around 10% of pot volume), and I gave her 3 liters of pH 6.4 water today. The left girl didn't need any, so I just measured both girls, snapped some pics and videos before zipping up both tents. The left girl is 50 cm tall (12 cm increase in a week), and the right girl is 77 cm tall (31 cm increase in a week!)

I received the clones from An out of province breeder. It reached me after three days of driving on the road with no light. Their future was not certain. I didn’t think I would need that many fans for the clones because they are so tiny, I figured they didn’t need that much maintenance. I was 100% wrong when I’m working with this many plants. I ended up getting mild mildew on top of the soil on the first week because there was barely any air circulation. At this point I didn’t have any Ventilation put up yet. And one fan on the floor. I ended up installing three fans in one room. No issues

Wow. I honestly cant believe how well she turned out for me. Filled out super nicely. Nice big fat frosty nugs. I cant wait until the final cure is done. And I get a final weight off her.

Girls are developing well, i have a minor issue but is making me uncomfortable, a bug for the third time something that by research seams to be a lace bug, basically is like little drops of black oil in the leafs this develops in to a little static larvae then it becomes black, is tiny. And apparently does nothing on the surface to the plant, but man this bastards are imortal, I’m in the point of dropping a nuke or using a flame tower in the grow room. I’m deep in to flower... Besides that fir the third time, all good...

Have about 10 flavors still trying to decide on what exactly I’m doing I chopped them in half, I’m excited to see these flowers from the outdoor grow I have

This gorilla cookie by fast buds is freaking awesome guys, I'm really in love with this genetic, very strong smell, trichome glands everywhere, and 2 out of the 3 plants that I'm growing are going to develop full purple buds!! Amazing autoflower plant man, I'm not disappointed at all, I hope to get a nice amount of buds with the 3 Gorilla cookies because I cannot wait to taste those buds! Let's keep on working! 💓💚💛👨‍🌾

This week was a busy one in the gardens! After a 7 day dry my harvest from last week was ready to come down! It did dry out a little quicker than I'd like, but still went in the jar around 57% and still smells really terpy and not like hay. I kept the humidity around 50-60% in the dry room however I didn't supplement humidity with a humidifier, i do have an ACI humidifier, but I didn't wanna run it in the summer and accidentally mold the crop! I just ran my dehumidifier at that setting so maybe it got a little dry in there! I trimmed all 5 plants in one day to prevent over drying in about 13 hours. I used a trim bin, trim brush by canna brush and a normal pair of springed shears. I'm curing in Mason jars now. I was able to move the plants in the tiny Mars Hydro Clone tent to my flowering tent. My Vivosun 4x8x6, under my HLG Blackbird at setting 1 to get adjusted. This week I'll get my par meter back from my grow bro and get a good reading. Im going to be transplanting these plants to their final containers as soon as I hit the local grow shop and grab a little more soil! After that I'll adjust the par for full veg and let them really rage! It feels good to finally get some space for them. My larger tent is way better equipped ventilation wise as well, I have 4 clip fans and my 8 inch exhaust fan in there. I currently have the tent sitting at 74-71°F and 56% Humidity. Ethos: Lilac Diesel #22 (x) Grandpa's Cookies #7- This Seedling has a decent internode spacing between it's branches and is keeping them mostly even with very little low stress training. I have been bending the top most branches to help the plant get a little bushier! It's leaves are very dark and doing a little clawing so I'm holding off on the Trinity by Roots Organic! It doesn't appear to bad! It's main stalk is very thick and reminds me of Raspberry Ripple #1! When it's in veg! I'm excited to see if this plant is one I'll keep around or not! I'm definitely hoping it's stretch in flower is containable in my shorter space! Raspberry Ripple Clones (#1 and #2)- The Number One Phenos are looking beefy already, one plant is starting to yellow just a little bit and looks like it could use a transplant here soon! Other than that these ladies are raging as usual. The higher ppfd has kept them really bushy and symmetrical. The Number 2s are still looking really healthy but are the smallest plants in the garden as usual! Finished Flowers (Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2)- This harvest definitely hits a lot harder than my last one! Having the microscope to really get a good look at my trichomes and pushing the plants and extra two weeks really made a big difference! Ripple #1- These buds are big and purple! Decently frosted! The leathery, black licorice smell Ripple #1 gives off, is really strong this round! The harvest weighed 7oz 25 grams, 6 oz and 16 grams of "A" Nugs, and 1 oz 9 grams of popcorn buds! Ripple #2- The Ripple #2 is a little less dense than the #1 but it is pretty frosty and smells like a mixture of yogurt and hazy weed. This harvest weighed 5 oz 20 g, 4 oz and 6 grams of decent sized nugs and 1 oz 13 grams of popcorn nugs. Giving me a total harvest of 13 oz and 17 grams, 10 oz and 20 grams of "A" nugs and 2 oz and 23 grams of popcorn nugs. In a 4 x 4. That pretty much sums up the harvest and this week!
