See main diary for additional information. 2313: Fat chonky colas, fast and early flowering. This plant bulked up a lot between 6 and 7 weeks. Nice purple tones on the buds but no signs of deficiency and lots of stored nutrients to finish this plant off.

We planted a second Jack Herer Auto from Quebec Cannabis Seeds in a 1 gallon pot as an experiment to see how it does compared to our jack herer auto in the 3 gallon pot. We wanted to see which plant would give us the best yield for the space available. This will help us decide how we want to do our next few rounds of grows and if we want a SOG or just have a few big plants in the tent.

The Gorilla Cookies is turning into an impressive young lady. Even though she has an 11L pot, the growth rate is amazing. The bloom is setting in slowly, there are some white pistils visible but no buds just yet. At the second half of week 5 I'm seeing the first few buds appearing. The plant is really impressive to watch. I'm easing up on the bloom nutrients as the top leafs have yellow tips which could be nutrient burn. Just water and Bio Tabs for the next couple of days and I hope she'll be fine 😇

This week went well. Overall the ladies are healthy. They ended up stretching a lil more. I do know this will be the final week of stretch before focusing on producing buds. Which will be my goal over the next week,more defoliation. Also I've been using liquid kool bloom with feedings..we shall see if it makes a difference.. will keep yall updated in my next upload ..Happy growing 😎🍃

The flowering process isn't it beautiful. I love this stage doesn't matter how the plant turned out in training or in this case the panic moments when they get too tall. 😅 because you start seeing the results of the work that was done. They are all doing well.

Hi all , here we are for another fun run with a some of Fast Buds most delicious looking ladies to harvest. With each strain having it's own amazing appearance and buds , i am hoping to spoil them like a rich kid at the seaside with this new FC3000 provided by the generous sponsors at Mars Hydro. Thanks Susie. It is a 300w draw with a full spectrum of gloriousblumens to develop and create some hard , chunky and downright delectable buds. Easy to set up with a removable driver too. Very handy of the heat builds up and we need to reduce it somehow. There is more than enough extension chord(2m) to re hang the driver out of the growing area. It has a dimmer to allow it to offer seed to harvest capabilities all in one unit. No need for separate lights for each stage of the grow. The unit size is more than big enough to cover the 6 plants and the 100L x2 beds that they are going to be grown in. It is nice and light too so no worries about the hangers being stressed. It came with a hanging kit too so nothing to stop you getting it on out of the box. At 100% it really kicks some light out and has even worried the more than capable sp3000 sat next to it. A beautiful piece of kit that will no doubt be a good as it looks too. Having had a few issues with germination over the summer and totally failing seeds , I went back to plugs. They hold the perfect amount of moisture and dont fall apart when lifted either. Again they proved excellent with 100% success of these genetically brilliant seeds . Seeing them poking their heads up on 2 already only only day 3 was a pleasant surprise as i have had these in waiting a while now. No soaking the seed just straight into the cube from the packet.. LAST FEED 7/7 7/8 I'm very excited with how my little grow is turning out. Preflower are forming on my mendo breath. Slurricanes are a little behind. I'm wondering when to switch to flower nutes. We will be getting thunderstorms today and this weekend. I obtained four blow up mattresses and cut them, zip tied them together and covered with gorilla tape. Since I didnt have enough lumber to frame the top of my fence I will not be able to use the rain guard tonight. I think they will be fine Having a frame that I could staple it too very quickly would be invaluable especially in the fall. 7/9 I added some additional supports last night. Glad I did as I have no damage and that was a huge storm. Preflowers are forming and smell is pungent. 7/10 Fog was heavy this morning but the sun is out now. Looks like it will be nice all day. I found a spider web at the bottom of a plant wrapped at the base of the stem. I've been killing pregnant spiders that will fold the leaves and web them together to hatch there babies in. The webs they weave are extremely durable. I swept up app webs which were easy to see do to the most and fog. I still see some pillar damage so I think you I might hit them with captain Jack's that way if I'm missing something I can spray before I transition to flower nutes. I watered today as I wasnt sure how much rain the plants had got and I didnt water yedterday. 7/11 It poured all night. It was the type of rain plants love. A bit heavy at times. I had to check plants with an umbrella. No damage. Everything looks good. I took no pictures due to the rain. As soon as I left it stopped raining. The sun came out yesterday and it was extremely humid. Plants seemed to love it. I'm really debating when I should switch to flower nutes. Went back later in the day. Sun came out and it was humid as hell. I took a couple pictures. 7/12 Heavy thunder showers gave way to sunny skies. I fed today and increased to 2tsp grow big and used micro bre instead of kango roots. It hasn't been a week yet but I will be away for a week and family will be caring for my plants. I will still monitor via security feeds and the morning through facetime. My plants seem to be doing super good and I hate to leave them even for a night. Oh well. I'll have to hope a masters in forestry and a masters on botany will suffice to care for my garden. Honestly I'd probably rather have a smelly hippie looking after them. At the local store brown tail moths coated the store. It was ridiculous. I applied BT heavily to my entire crop and actually say a few moths fly out from under the plants. It's been so dry the moths biggest predator (a form of algae) didnt grow. The CDC issued guidelines as they are poisonous. If you've never had problems with worms you might this year. 7/13 like I said family is watching my grow for a few days so I'm not sure if I'll be posting. I may have pictures sent and facetime. I can always check the cameras anyway. I sprayed BT last night just to be safe. That was unreal. I'm worried to leave my girls but I know it's just my anxiety disorder. I am thinking about getting either a light rail system or more lights for next grow, every day and half I am moving the lights At least 2 feet.

Not much really to report, the 2 seeds took 3 days to pop up- Still nothing from the 3rd BUT it also didn't crack open in water while germinating.. SO 2/3 aint bad. I will be waiting a few days and transplanting these autos into 3 gallon pots and put on 12/12 :) 2019.12.29 third one didn't pop up, kept trying and decided to give up! stoked about these girls, they are thriving in my tent.

Cherry cola is getting real close! As you can see in my tricomb pictures I got a new toy! You can see some ambers in there and we’re starting to go down on our nutrients with her. She’s gotten chunky and smelly and I’m super stoked to do a smoke review on this one🤤 Gorilla Cookies is starting to chunk up as well! How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Thursday 16th march day 59 Harvested a couple days earlier then planned as my humidity was getting a bit high and worried about risking mold I decided to chop, have to get a good dehumidifier soon, everything looking lovely, nice and dense with very strong fruity potent smell definitely the best looking plants I have grown to date not the biggest buds but they look quality, chopped plants whole gonna do my best to keep the temp and rh% in the dry room as close 60/60 as I can to get a nice slow dry, 🍁😎 I only took the wet weight from 1 plant back left plant was 270g with large fan leaves removed

Just take a look at the amount of bud sites. Water only grow.
