Welcome friends to week 14. 8/6-12. I did defoilation last week of most of the feeder leaves. The goddesses let you know what they want and dont want. When I was defoliating, if the leaf was hesitant in coming off, don’t force it, because it will bring part of the bud with it.That being said, I have 3 small buds that came off during trim. Close up pics above. I have these drying on a fruit bowl in the kitchen and will give CBG a try in about 2 weeks. 8/6 No water today. Adjusting to yesterday’s defoliation, outside time and fertilization. This is day 106 since popping the soil on April 17. Based on the last auto flowers I grew, I anticipate these will be ready to harvest at the end of 2 weeks (Aug 19-20). I don’t know how long it takes for trichomes to start turning amber but I see almost 100% milky, just no amber yet. 8/7 I’m pushing an extra day without water and not running humidifier. This is pushing VPD higher into the excess range. I read that this stress can motivate the plant to make bigger buds. Harvest time will determine if that’s so. 8/8 Ferigate 3 gallons using TPS1 23.75ml, Signal 9.5ml, EC 1.19, PPM 820, ph 7.5. I only gave them 1 ½ liters each today. 8/9 No water. Still not seeing amber trichomes. How long will it take? 8/10 light fertilize today. 3 gallons with 15 ml TPS1, 7.5 ml Signal. Each received 1 gallon. They were in the tub so all run off went down the drain and I didn't get measurements. There was a summer storm today so I utilized the time to go thru more boxes. Interesting items that I came across: 1 grandmother's notes for colorizing black white photos. She won awards for this process. 2 grandfather's attestation to the US State land department on the improvements made on the homestead acreage. State confirmed improvements. A woman’s place was in the home. My grandmother, father and mother were all high achievers in their careers, and interests. All won awards for their achievements in work activities, teaching, and arts. This type A behavior was instilled in me from the start. In everything I did I had to be my best. I worked a variety of jobs from jewelry sales to office clerical during high school and college. Attending school and working at the same time and maintaining straight A’s is typical A behavior. I started picking up industrial psychology courses and some business. When I got into accounting, my male accounting professor said I was really good and I should consider it. The economics of business was changing. Women were breaking the glass ceiling in large corporations with more women were becoming CEO's of big corporations. So, I changed my major of study in college from science to business and accounting. I entered a difficult field. Once out of college, I started in the accounting field and remained in the same career for over 35 years. I did not have the desire to travel the world so I remained in Tidewater. My career began as an accountant responsible for payroll and accounts payable at a hospital, then went into banking. From there, I entered government accounting and finance. Over the years, I was promoted from staff accountant to manager, then director of financial reporting at Tidewater Community College (TCC). Interestingly, I came across my mom’s college yearbook. She attended Teachers College of Connecticut (TCC). My mom began her teaching career in college, and I ended my career while working in higher education. What a coincidence! My need for perfection is causing stress and anxiety since I’m having difficulties. Even though I followed the TPS1 autoflower weekly recommendations, I still overfed. This caused nutrient lock out for which I flushed with no nutrients for 3 weeks. Once I resumed 1/4-1/2 strength the required solution, I started seeing new white pistils in the existing buds. D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 20-22C light OFF - no water - RH: 49-52% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 19-20C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 135PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7 and 680PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 560PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 47% light ON ; 48-53% light OFF D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato look sooooo yummy and I can't wait to harvest it. There is a small color change in some leaves but I'm expecting more in the next days. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 19C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 125PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7.1 and 260PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 250PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 46% light ON ; 46-48% light OFF D71 (31/01/2021): Glue Gelato is changing color. I'm checking trichomes everyday on both girls and no amber yet. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 19C light OFF - no water - RH: 45% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D72 (01/02/2021): Well well well...the clock is ticking for those girls. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: PH6.2, 123PPM, less then a gallon each - run off: PH7.4 and 200PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.4 and 287PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: less then a gallon each - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong. - temp: 22-23C light ON ; 19C light OFF - no water - RH: 47% light ON ; 43-45% light OFF

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.

Back after a reporting gap. In that 20 days or so I just let things stretch as it moves into flower, taking branches to make room, and defoliating. Things got a little taller than I wanted but overall I am happy with the spacing. There was a slight molybdenum deficiency that went away when I started using my flower booster. But other than that, nothing all that interesting.

Sour diesel autoflower from SeedsMafia 🌱 Dropped the seed in the water on 20.08.2021, it was in water for ~24 hours, then transplanted it to damp paper towel and kept it in a dark space, wasn’t too warm in there though 😕 The seed popped in the next day, I kept the seed in the paper towel for ~48 hours and then planted it into the pot with the sprout headed down 👍🏼

I'm keeping an eye on what appears to be a few seeds developing. I'm hoping they're just fat calyx's that haven't matured yet however there's a strong possibility that, due to a temperature fluctuation that was excessive (20℉) may have caused her to stress and turn hermaphroditic... Fingers crossed! 🤔🤞 9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Six of flower in a couple of days and she'll be around four more weeks from finishing, with the most exciting weeks yet to come! I didn't water yesterday and today I went ahead and Top Dressed her with 2 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4, 1 tbsp/g Dr. Earth Gold Premium 4-4-4, 1/2 cup Down To Earth Bio-Fish, 1/3 cup Down To Earth High Phosphorus Bat Guano and 2 cups of Worm Castings. I watered in the Top Dress with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉ and let her enjoy her meal! 😜 9/26- After her heavy watering on the 24th I didn't water yesterday and when I checked her today at 'lights on' and she still had some weight to her pot and her leaves were praying hard so I held off on watering today and will hit her tomorrow with her usual 1.5g watering. ~Thanks for stopping in! Everything going okay

We are officially in full bloom. The have been enjoying 6-7 hours of sun light per day for about 4 days now, then brought back in under the cobs. The girls are all exploding with growth and stacking what I expect to be huge buds.

The weather is so lovely ... warm and sunny that's quite unusual for our area. The Quick Ones loving life and growing nice! My Berry Haze seems a little damage and stressed from the transplant to the wild last week ... I hope she survive this stressful time. The new seedlings also loving the sun ... Their will be ready for the transplant soon! Stay tuned and as always Keep Growing! 👍

2/5 Week 6 May be last week of veg kind of depends on factors outside the grow. Lets hope Keeping the Si included and leaving nuets as is. Continuing to defoliate as needed to keep things civil in the small tent, Moya is crowded. Canopy is at 30" plants about 20" 2/6 Better plan! Found a table at Goodwill that will fit in the flower tent and allow two plants to be moved there tomorrow. So tomorrow is the day, two plants will remain in Moya, prob Jool and Zhaan 2/7 Aeryn is in flower tent flipped to 12-12 Jool and Zhaan in small tent, Moya, also flipped to 12-12 Here we go Feed set as above, keeping levels low at this point 2/8 Second day May reduce feed a bit, white tips One time feed of Kangaroots 10ml/gal Keeping things defoliated so the middle gets lots of light 2/8 Last attempt to try and get rid of those white tips. Further reduced feed but added just a touch of cal-mag to make up for it. If this doesnt work I am just feeding them and ignoring the tips. Flowering is starting to show, more on Aeryn being under the HPS than Jool and Zhaan under the LEDs. Continuing to defoliate as needed to keep bud sites in light. 2/10 Bringing down the nuets to under 500ppm did the trick on the white tips but can not leave things there so back to some sane level and I am just going to ignore it. Stretch is starting for real 😳 2/11 Since the tip burning is an issue with N, I am going to move the girls to all bloom tomorrow with today as a transition. Strain is absolutely sensitive to Nitrogen.
