Greetings, fellow growers! Week 5 has brought us to a pivotal moment in our Anesia pheno hunt journey as we embark on the transformative process of topping our thriving beauties. Let's delve into the world of topping and explore the magic behind this essential technique. Topping is a fundamental aspect of plant training, involving the removal of the apical meristem, or main growth tip, to encourage lateral growth and bushier plant development. By snipping away the topmost growth, we redirect the plant's energy towards the lower branches, stimulating new growth and increasing overall yield potential. It's like giving our plants a strategic haircut, with the promise of fuller, more abundant foliage in return. But topping isn't just about increasing yield – it's also about promoting a more balanced and uniform canopy, ensuring that light penetration is maximized and no precious photons go to waste. With each well-placed snip, we're sculpting our plants into lush green masterpieces, ready to flourish under the glow of our Future of Grow LED lights. Speaking of lights, maintaining optimal environmental conditions is key to our plants' success. That's why we've raised our TDS to 420 and adjusted our pH to a precise 5.8 using our trusty Blue Lab Guardian monitor. This advanced monitoring system allows us to keep a close eye on nutrient levels and pH fluctuations, ensuring that our plants receive the perfect balance of nutrients for optimal growth and health. It's like having a guardian angel watching over our garden, guiding us towards horticultural excellence. And let's not forget the satisfying sight of water droplets glistening on freshly topped plants. These tiny droplets are more than just a visual treat – they serve as a gentle reminder of our care and attention to detail, ensuring that our plants receive the hydration they need to recover and thrive. It's a moment of zen in the midst of our bustling garden, a testament to the beauty of nature and the joys of cultivation. With each passing week, our Anesia pheno hunt grows more exciting, and I can't wait to see what the future holds. Stay tuned for more updates, more growth, and more green goodness as we continue to cultivate joy and growth together in our Green Oasis! Gorilla, gorilla, my problem child. The only one popping out of 5 but she is weaker than her roommates. She stays behind compared to them. But what can I do other than TLC, she has the best conditions, which are optimal in this grow room, also judging by the other two plants. Until I have a bigger operation, which in the current political climate, is not soon, where I can make mothers and clone them, breed my own strains, and root out runts like this, we do it like life. We play the hand as it is dealt to us and we love all our children the same... although this one is special. So not a genderfluid Silverback yet, but it ain't over till the voluptuous lady sings. We shall nurse this little runt until adulthood, who knows she might surprise us, she should have the mighty Gorilla Glue Number Fouh genes in there somewhere. Now come on out here and show daddy what you're made of... This week we spread out the leaves and branches, some leaf tucking and gentle LST, to prepare for some higher stress and super cropping today. Two days back we made the switch and set the lights to 12/12. Now the flowering stretch will begin, thus we bend the branches further outward in preparation for the canopy. When I do this I notice the branches are thick and sturdy, with no breakage at all unlike my previous grow, the gelato 33. I snapped some branches applying the super cropping and just normal bending with those. It seems like the fan (I didn't have a good option previous grow, hence the flimsier branches there) but also this lighting and soil regime are topnotch, asides from outdoor I haven't seen such lush bushiness yet, even on a more runt-like plant. This MarsHydro SP3000 is still performing great, such controlled temperatures, such an ocean of light. I only wish I started growing with this earlier. Thanks again @MarsHydroLED for trusting us to test your mighty flagship light. It is so well made, it oozes quality, I just want to touch it every time (also to check if it stays cool) and it is just sexy, slender, and compared to my other 300 watt light, a completely different spectrum and clarity. If you are looking for new lights, look no further. At www.mars-hydro.com they have excellent and unbeatable deals on tent and light combinations where you practically get a tent for free, it is ridiculous. I was afraid the light wouldn't cover the sides of my tent with my 4.5-foot space. Penny at MarsHydro had to laugh at this a bit, said not to worry. What an understatement. This light could signal to other galaxies. I sincerely recommend good sunglasses with this light. Only thing I'm adding is an infrared light Sunshine found. With this I'm going to simulate sunrise and sunset and try to prevent stress by easing the light in and out, like in nature. We are in flowering now, very excited to see what she will do here. What can she perform? Will she cover the net? Will she deliver gorgeous buds, like she is known to do? On these cliffhangers I hope you will tune in next week for more gorilla-related plantporn... go on... you know you want it. Hug Bud!!

I continued like normal with the feed expect for one day which I just put pH correct water in the tank as I saw I little nutrition burn on the leaf tips. The temperature was difficult to maintain so I added a fan adjuster so I could regulate it easier.

day 49 just pure water phed down. it is day 51, morning before lights on, I might chop today. I use a zero water filter pitcher got off walmart. My humidifier is only a sonic wave. If you use regular tap water it will get gunky in a sonic humidifier. If you have a heat humidifier that boils the water the mist should be clean. These are the 2 types of water humidifiers. Researching best water filters this "zero water" also comes with a free ppm meter! yay! Other water pitcher brands; the water still has ppm. So water misted will still have ppm contamination. You can easily used distilled water only, and reverse osmosis. I just fill a 4gal office water jug with the pitcher and fill my humidifier when needed. I do not use a humidifier in my entire grow up to this point when I chop, I need the perfect rh or this whole effort can fail. growing up to this point only requires 20% effort, chopping now for the 2 weeks dry is this 80% of crucial determination, succeed. A lot of tasks are required today for a clean chop. I feel confident, observed my cross seeds with pink paradise and one with a slightly open caylex looks dark enough for successful germination. I figured 8-16 seeds may be created, 3-4 buds were potentially pollinated. Many growers don't understand when creating genetics with female/female there is a slight chance of herm. You lose 50% of your genetic function. Just water last 2 days, no humic no folvic, 1st time entire grow ha! There is a lot of cleaning to do, remove the trees, clean the entire tent and environment with bleach water, hacksaw. I am very proud of my grow. I have sampled 3 of the strains, dr. thunder legit made my lips numb but it could have just been the terps removing my skin cells from the sticky filter, no lie. This is my best grow to date. I did this for you, and to document hype or not under the best conditions I could give my plants, full max potential, although I wish I had more lights, I am not looking for industrial lol, this is how I grow. Learn a lot on youtube and podcasts there is many good content and I may dab into it. You can have a room full of growers and you have 1 seed in your hand, they will all tell you that their way is correct ;) and the best way. Oreo is stinky AF, Bridal is just amazing glad its massive, just not into sativa but the test seemed slight sativa with majority indica, pink untested, dr, thunder just a lip numming plant aha, its very nice, all 4 amazing appeal like advertised, and excited for next run. Either crosses from this or other copycat genetics. I will give you beautiful glamout shots today, the sizes of the plants, My guesstimate bridal 1lb, thunder 1lb, pink, 0.4lb, bridal 0.5, I am ambitious off 640w lm301h, and 4x 20w blurples daisy chained. day 51 4 chopped see you in a few weeks :D

Most of them made it only 1 six shooter definitely didnt make it and a cream cookies is a lil stuck. I threw a mexican airlines in the old six shooter cup but just letting it germinate in the soil I havnt done that in a while. They are going to get another feed tmm. The medium is a 50/50 coco/soil mix since I'm using the green buzz and its organic I figured a little soil might be beneficial. Day 7 from germination they should be ready to go into their final pots in the next few days.

30.04.2025 Day 58 Not much to report. Chemdawg still stretching. The other are fatten up and producing nice trichomes becoming visible to naked eye. Smell are strong. I can tell which one is tropicana cookies now base on the heavy citrus smell. So by process of elimination the other one has to be banana purple punch. I'm going to add final part solution today by mixing it with 5 liter of water and adding to reservoirs. All except Chemdawg.

July 16th - Fed the plant 2 gallons over the Morning. (see last weeks menu, rain prevented its use) Next meal posted above - real growth on this sucker as it fills out nicely. Well, only the ends of the branchs really. But its hapnin - 2 days without Rain, it was Time to feed this guy before the next storm rolls in. Getting slammed with rain here in Southern Ontario. Moisture meter was at least on-scale and Left of middle = GO 17th - plant looks great as we head towards Flower. One more regular feed, around mid-week, with close to maximum Veg food. Then I’m going to introduce a little Bloom Nutrient into the mix next week. Feed the transition so to speak. ( I’m also talking a 25% bloom dose to start, in the reg veg mix ) All the action, Its right around the corner - Foliar spray tonight July 20th, - the weather is going to let me feed Jack this morning. Her last 100% meal of Veg Nutes. ***That was my plan till I saw all the activity on the ends of my branches. I have added a small taste of Bloom nutes to this meal today! - 3 gallons over a 4 hour period and the goal is to let Jack dry out after this feed ~ 4-5 days would be ideal. - Might even be seen as a little nutrient Push… 22nd - finishing the week strong with a couple days of Sunshine. Go figure

Day 78 - The start of week 12 and from looking at her and the trichs, she probably won’t be getting chopped this weekend. Gave her a good flush with the sledgehammer yesterday so hopefully the depletion of nutes will push her to the end sooner rather than later. Day 79 - Still just waiting but her leaves are starting to yellow a bit so she seems to be sucking whatever she can out of them to finish up. Can’t wait for her to be done to get a taste. Day 80 - Leaves are starting to fade pretty good now and almost certain I’ll be chopping her this week or this coming weekend at the latest. Trying to push some more amber trichs into her. Day 81 - No real updates, she’ll be getting the chop no later than this weekend. Most likely on Saturday.
