high yielder despite my mistakes along the way ended up with 6.5 oz off 2 ladies in a small closet test run (first ever grow in this tent, first time in coco using heavy 16). very happy with results. The smell is unreal! I had two distinct phenotypes one of the two smelled exactly like blueberries with a little bit of gas on the back end. The other was Very lemon scented with spicey peppers and subtle herb or mint on the back end. Both stretched like crazy in flower. after 53 days of veg with training they were 13 inches before flip to 12/12 light cycle. 5 weeks into flower they were 40 plus inches fighting thru two scrogs. real beasts! wouldve grown bigger and yield way more if I had enough space. lesson learned i need to veg shorter time so i dont grow into my lights. these foxtailed a bit but likely due to heat and stress being so close to such a powerful light 315 watt LEC (recomended 18-22 inches away, some spots on mine got as close as 12 inches- caused some bleaching in closest zone to light, but after harvest i removed all this to make coconut oil some day maybe). ALL in all really amazing strain, had high heat (mid to high 80s at times) and really packed them in, got ZERO mold, i was shocked. normally if i have buds touching eachother or up againat a wall of tent theyll get some little spots, nothing systematic, but none here! had some fungus gnat larvae early on as only pest, I mist with cold pressed neem oil killed larvae and the ladies lived on and got over early stress from my poor feeding and watering practices, and bounced back very nicely!

all pros, no cons really, if you run the full line it has everything your plants want and need. The foliar was my favorite of all the products but its not shown since i didnt include in the feed. only calculated the feed that went to roots thru the grow, foliar is a great cal mag addition and stress combatant for if it gets too hot, the girls dont even bat an eye! amazing nutrient line up across board! follow feed schedule on their website not the bottles and you are golden! 2 week flush with finish, some of the smoothest smoken bud ive ever had and it hasnt even cured yet! this nutrient line is super clean and effective!! stinky, tastey, smooth smoke, non harsh, potent meds!
my feed has high Nitrogen in veg as well as cal mag, so i saw yellowing leaf at a point and thought needs cal mag! well it did, but i should have read the plus more clear, because the extra nitrogen in this cal mag lead to leaf clawing or curling at tips a bit. i decided to stick with only using the full heavy 16 line and once i got it dialed in realized i didnt ever need more cal mag. im sure this is awesome if used in right system!

I made a few big mistakes. most notably not flipping early enough. I vegged til 13 inches hoping theyd stretch to 26-30 inches and have adequate space away from light, well I underestimate them way too much! despite stretching a ton, these girls were both amazing to grow. bounced back to every training, with a lot of lst and topping and defol, they never stayed down long. they eat a lot, and once i got my feed dialed in they grew healthy and strong thru harvest. i chopped at all milky trichs, decided to harvest all in one go. so lowers have a tiny clear trich but mostly milky, tops are fully milky and after dry have a tiny touch of yellow or amber at tips. effects are ranging from 70-30 sativa (on lowers with clearer trichs) its high energy. very distinct feeling of relaxation all thru body from neck down feel loose in joints and relaxed. in mind i feel very sharp, focused and productive. at the same time i noticed i was more creative. i teach tennis classes and i was better able to describe what I was trying to convey to my student who is a teen, creativity helps. both our games improved, definitely a nice productive smoke, tastey as hell in vape or bowl. grinds up and smells like blueberries soaked in gasoline, topped with a big squeeze of lemon and dash of spicey red chili peppers! ooooh eeee! this stuff is amazing, and the bubble hash i spun looks like its going to be top quality once it dries! will post more pictures of buds once they cure up a bit more. should mention as a hash / rso maker, i also pulled over 1,000 grams of wet fan leaf, and a few hundred grams of trim which yields great medicine not accounted for in harvest #s00

@Jack_Greenstalk,that s ok , in fact is day that's near on perfect , 60% is my nights and 50% ish light on .

@BigDaddyK, I added a lot of humidity bowls/glasses around plants, and lowered speed of exhaust fan from max to min. generallu humidity has gone up 10-15% on avg this week (high 60s at nght time light off, ranges from 35% low now with light on to high of 55% during light) still not ideal RH but its certainly better for veg. this plus heavier nute feed is increasing speed of plant growth also reducing signs of stress on plants. this weeks been a really solid recovery week so far

@Jack_Greenstalk,low humidity is good for flowering , but below 40% for vegging may cause problems

I made some really awesome hash using ice water extraction "bubble hash" using some larf, and trim. It is honestly one of my favorite things about growing. Especially blueberry genetics like this, the fan leafs are so greasy and resin coated it spins out EXCELLENT hash. Been studying a lot of frenchy cannoli's technique, and this has been the best hash ive ever made so far smell and visually. can't wait til it's dried proper and I can sample some! will post some pics maybe on here.

thanks! I have seen others grow HSO to great results, excellent breeder really quality packaging too. I am having a lot of fun with this first run, still have 6 more fems from them and I know my next run will go even better with what ive learned this go round. I'm happy these 2 have made it threw their fragile seedling phase and have worked into true veg growth, every day new leaf set or big size increase. super healthy color, and stems are thickening up. I'm looking forward to training these ladies later on

Nice job on the germination. Off to a great start. I will be looking in along the way for sure. Best wishes on the grow!

@Jack_Greenstalk, Nice. Sounds like you have some great experience and a passion for growing. I'll check out your week 2 update now.

Jack_Greenstalkcommented7 years ago
@Zannabis7, Thanks! This is my first grow in coco but not my first grow. I grew outdoor in soil, and indoor in hydro both for larger scale ops I was a drone not the head grower. I have been around a long time, smoking and trimming for friends mainly, got.my hands on some good seeds and decided to start it up. all advice is appreciated, I have been around a while and know a bit but i am still always learning. week 2 updates live now

Hey man, great grow! I just started the same seeds for mine so I've been following along pretty closely. How tall is your tent? It looks like a similar size to mine so I'm curious to see how you will handle the stretch. Definitely will be staying tuned. Nice work!
Jack_Greenstalk
Jack_Greenstalkcommented7 years ago
@Skill_Murray,tent side is 3 ft by 1.67 by 5 ft tall. as far as stretch, it should stop around week 3, till then just tuckin and folding under scrog to keep even canopy. gotta keep it 18 inches from light for best results in my experience

Jack_Greenstalkcommented7 years ago
@bobo420,thanks! it came a long way from the start, I have def put some time in to training it to get it to that bushy state. stretching like crazy in flower having fun trying to contain these little monsters. They wanna fill the entire tent

looking good my brotha. Don't be shy about trimming those big fan leaves, she will thank you in a week with many new buds:)
Jack_Greenstalk
Jack_Greenstalkcommented7 years ago
@DeathEvil, I do pop off some here n there early, but those act as solar panels to boost growth for first few weeks of flower during the stretch. I start my defol at day 21, end of week 3, you can see start of work in my most recent week, it'll continue to get pruned of fans and excess growth, any lower shrimps that wont bud all lollipopped daily here on out

Great looking plants! They had a bit of a rough start for that one but are looking nice and healthy now, good job!

Jack_Greenstalkcommented7 years ago
thanks! yeah it's funny #4 "blue nemo" was my last to sprout and had some stress early from silly little stupid mistakes i made, but nemo has bounced back strong and is my healthier heartier of the 2, def drinks more water and dries quicker, its roots have gotten strong, I'm really enjoying the heavy 16 so far.
