Week 2 of flower and I can see I should have some nice big buds when fully developed. They finished their stretch at the of week 2 and started to produce terpenes. The choc mint og smell is here!

Got the girls into there flowering tent and there 5 gal RDWC system under a 1000w HPS on a light rail mover. We are flipping them now because these DWC systems produce massive plants. We are going to tuck through the stretch until they stop this time and try and keep them as low as possible. I’ve grown this strain before a few times and ran a couple clone runs of it as well, so I think I know what to expect hopefully. Lol this is a spectacular strain from an A+ breeder(Canuk Seeds) and I can’t wait to smoke her again! One of those tried tested and true strains for me...lol I will also be keeping the light at max height and punching them with 1000w rite from the get go instead of lowering the wattage and trying to get the light closer to try and conserve power. I get a better light spread at 1000w 3 feet away and don’t have to move my light as much to cover the roughly 4x6 foot space of the tent I will be flowing in. The last 2 feet of the tent are reservoir and air conditioner. I don’t want the cold air to close to my plants so I try to keep a buffer zone. I will be adding a cardboard wall I think across blocking the air conditioners direct air output and blow it across the tent with my oscillation fan instead. I also have my second water cooled thermoelectric reservoir water chiller built now and I will be installing it in this reservoir as soon as I get a chance. I’m making a how to DIY video for it so it’s taking a bit longer to build and install as I’m trying to document the entire process. So probably next week I will have it installed and running for the weekly update and I’ll post some links to the DIY video as well if I have it up yet. Couple weeks ago I over nute’d them and ended up with nitrogen abundance so I countered that last week with a very low EC at 0.2 and the rebounded quick, so quick they went the opposite and I had nitrogen deficiency within the week. Lol so they are now in there new homes and sitting in 0.75 EC water with 6.0ph and they are coming around now. Well that’s it for this week folks, Cheers! 💨

10/15 This week saw a few snags. Both gorilla zkittlez girls are showing what looks like a Mg def i.e yellowing between veins and green veins themselves. This isn't the first time they've exhibited these symptoms. Currently the heaviest affected leaves are the lowest fan leaves farthest from the light. Aiming to keep it that way. I think it's pH swinging too low. I need to pay more attention to my feeds but sometimes I don't have the time to pH my water as properly as I should. The reason I say it's that and not a deficiency is because they are also showing signs of over feed (yellow leaf tips) only a one half-strength feed did this. There must be plenty of food left in the pot. I'm thinking the flip is gonna come at the end of the week. I'll clean up some lower foliage tomorrow or Sunday and let them grow the rest of the week. 10 weeks seems like a nice round number to me. I smell her over my LSD25...Not a citrus aroma. Can not really pinpoint what it smells like. But smells like weed. She is filling in...hope she gets to swelling.

The mighty permanent marker decides the time to ripen is nigh. Finally shes starting to show shes nearly ready for harvest. The buds are looking prettier everyday the smell is dieselish dank and a bit pungent. Pretty much the terps im after. This is definitely the frostiest plant ive grown, especially when dried the buds almost look white. Insane. Really happy with this grow and cant wait to see what shes really all about. Day 8 Flower (Day 50) The first day of the second week of flower and the strech is real. The right girl is getting pretty damn big and keeps on drinking a lot. I gave her another 3 liters of pH 6.4 water today. On the other hand, the left girl drinks hardly anything, so I didn't need to water her. I also did some lollipopping today and got rid of a whole bunch of undergrowth. I saved some clones off the big girl but no clue what to do with them. We'll see what happens. Day 9 Flower (Day 51) Chill day today. All I did was to give each girl 3 liters of pH 6.5 water and snap a few pics. Day 10 Flower (Day 52) Today I finally got around to re-organize the small tent to move the light as high up as possible to give the canopy some additional space. I moved the exhaust fan to outside the tent, so it was out of the way for the light, and then put the circulation fan below the canopy, blowing upward. Finally, I adjusted the light so it was reading about 900 PPFD in the center of the canopy. The left girl didn't need any water today, but the right girl got 3 liters of pH 6.2 water. Day 11 Flower (Day 53) They're back! The fungus gnats are back in the tent, although I'm not surprised, and let me tell you why. When the light for my tomatoes and peppers broke down, I had to move them so that they get some daylight. It is still cold here (the coldest May around these parts ever, I think), so they have to stay inside even though they usually would have moved outside long ago. The best place to keep them in my apartment is by the window in the same room as my grow tents. The last time I had gnats, I only had enough nematodes to treat my girls, but I didn't do the rest of the apartment even though I should have. So currently, my peppers and tomatoes all have a ton of gnats. Put plants with gnats in the same room as your grow, and it is only a matter of time before the gnats find their way into the tents. So yeah, it wasn't a surprise at all when I noticed the gnats in my tents some days ago. I put up some yellow sticky traps to deal with the adults and ordered more nematodes, enough to treat my girls, plus all other plants in my entire apartment. Twice. The nematodes arrived today, and I mixed up 10 million of them into 6 liters of water and gave each girl half at pH 6.5. That was it for today. Day 12 Flower (Day 54) Exhausting day today. I opened the tents, took pics, closed the tents. Phew! I think I need to lay down for a bit. Day 13 Flower (Day 55) Late last night I decided to supercrop the right girl to slow her down and get the canopy to even out. We're almost at the end of the second week of flower so this is the last training I will do besides some defoliation later on. I think I cropped around 10 branches or so. Today, most of the branches were already standing up again and she was VERY thirsty so I gave her 4.5 liters of pH 6.4 water. The left girl on the other hand didn't need any water. Day 14 Flower (Day 56) The last day of the second week of flower and the right girl is in flower. Early yet so still small and no smell, but they are there. The left girl is in flower as well but isn't as far along, but that isn't unexpected considering the different lights. The left girl is 68 cm tall (18 cm increase in a week), and the right girl is 100 cm tall (23 cm increase in a week) but would have been even taller without super-cropping. I gave each girl three liters of pH 6.3 water and removed the tape from the right girl's broken branch. She looks fully healed, so I removed the supports as well, and she was looking great. However, thinking about it for a second, I put back one of the supports, just in case.

One last week and chop chop. Strawberry n cream really looks like it could go another few weeks but I’m done lol. They all smell amazing!!!

Ya llegó la anhelada cosecha y almacenamiento de esta hermosa variedad. Disfruté mucho cultivandola, no tuve mayores inconvenientes más que una pequeña deficiencia de nitrógeno que corregí oportunamente. El frasco huele hermosamente bien. Destacan aromas cítricos y dulces, en la molienda se hace mucho más predominante ese tono acido/cítrico del limón, al encender y fumar afloran sabores terrosos, dulces como masa de galletas y cítrico de limón. Una variedad completa, que dejará con un gran subidon a experimentados y noveles.

Sweet citrus caramel- love it :) There is a peppermint flavor Everything is going great. I think a little too much light - the leaves stand upright. The back side of the leaf has begun to darken - genetics.

Easy strain to grow. Responds well to training . Good yielder too . I had a problem with the gorilla skittles plant. It went hermi in the last week. So i ended up trimming an ounce off her and using the rest for hash . Gelato wasn't a great finisher either. Harvested around 2 ounce off her . Smoke is average but a nice fruity flavour. The alien Ogs were excellent though I will be definetly trying them again in the future . The high was just what I wanted . Strong but relaxing , you can either get really creative on this strain or you can giggle a lot . The after effects make you sleepy too so maybe a better mid day/night time smoke . Alien pheno 1 was super sticky with purple hues throughout the buds . Probably the best girl I've ever grown. Gave me 5 Oz of top quality . Next time I shall be going for all alien Ogs . It's an excellent strain. Total weights Alien og 2plants - 250g dried Gelato 1 plant - 56g Gorilla skittles 32g plus hash 334g dried buds . Not a great return from 480 watts. But I'm happy with how the alien og turned out. I have decided to give some autos a go next as this one was a long grow for one of them to go hermi . So will be trying some Strawberry pies from Fast Buds . Happy growing 🌱
