Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. We are hopeful for a resolution soon, or we may revert to the reliable Prima Klima setup. Day 1 repotted Day 3-4 topped once, but left 4 main stems instead of 2.. Day 6 - topped twice 8* nodes now

This was a fun little project with a few ups and downs. Overall it was a success. I managed to get 86 Seeds off of the two plants, this is a smaller number but given that I started the pollination about 2-3 weeks late I am impressed. Top this all off with the fact I was using 10ppm silver solution for the majority of the reversing process and only had 30ppm for about a single week near the end. Moving forward if I plan on reversing anymore plants I will be investing in some STS vs Silver solution. It's easier to use and has stronger results. I also managed to get 25g of bug from the plants as well that I will infuse into some butter. Not to worry these are not the branches that where sprayed with silver and they have been cut off and disposed of in the composter. When I decide to grow these out I'll try and create a new diary and test if the CBD/THC ratios remain intact, if the plants are viable. I have not tested the germination rate on these seeds and for all I know they are duds or will not resemble their back-crossed parents. This is my first seed making project and so much is new and unknown to me. Have had lots of help along the way from some good GD friends. Tried to post lots of photos and products I used. The photos labelled [PREVIOUS HARVEST] where when I first grew this wonderful strain out. It has the same peppery kush smell and crazy deep purples as it first did. I did shock these plants with a heavy feeding that stunted them greatly, I also transplanted them when I should have started them off in their forever pot. This was all explained in the weekly entries when it happened and why. overall the autos are not heavy yielding but more average for an auto and that's ok with me. Its the smells, taste colours and CBD contest that draw me to it. Somethings to note from the diary, most of the liquid nutrients are diving by how much water I gave them, typically 4L. Solid nutrients are divided per litre of medium in the pots or they are the total amounts I added. Just ask if you have Questions.

Hey now, so this week went pretty well. The Glueberry OG's are loving the environment, at around 70% RH and between 79-83 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and around 70 degrees Fahrenheit at night. The hardest thing for me is to leave them alone and not water them, as I am used to growing in Coco Coir and watering my plants multiple times a day. They are still in solo cups with a mixture of Pro-Mix seedling starter and Perlite, and I am watering every two to three days with just a light watering around the edge of the solo cup. . I plan to give the other Glueberry OG to a friend to hopefully raise her well. I have three 5 gallon fabric smart pots full of coco coir soaking in cal mag treated water, so i will flush them down to EC .4 the morning I am ready to transplant this lady which will be either Saturday or Sunday this weekend. After transplant she will be immediately receive high frequency fertigation every 5.5 hours or so from lights on and also receive supplemental UV/IR lighting from this Medic Grow Spectrum X. It's been 66 days. I wonder is my plant ready to harvest? I searched harvesting to cannabis but i didn't get that all. I came accross a youtube video which is answering questions about growing cannabis, someone asked same question with me, that guy answered like that, when golden hairs came up you can harvest 21 days after that. I checked my photos couse to calculate when golden hairs came up, i guess i need 12 days more to harvest. If you guys know about harvesting let me know please.

On week 2 the woolrock got some mohoo, i fixed it by putting water mixed with "safe roots" from Hydrotek directly into the rockwool superfice. After a couple days that problem was solved and the plant kept growing very well. And also i started to train the plants (lst)

Auto moon rock has sprouted, and is starting week 1. She is a bit on the short side, but that can change fast. So off we go on another experiment, and adventure. These plants are pushing the limits for this tent. I have had to figure out a way to get the lights a little higher to the top. I am bending some of the branches of the hydro plant as that one is growing bigger and faster then any other (10,5,2 gal) i do see that the plant that is in the 10 gallon is maturing faster.

A white christmas for me after all! 😂 Week 13 harvest! Plant 1 = 67 grams/2.3 oz Plant 2= 55 grams/1.9 oz overall= 4.2 oz (5-7 day dry) The Gorilla Cookies are soooo damn frosty and stinky…i’ll be drooling at them for a month until I can taste them!!!! Photos mostly of plant 2..1 was coated in resin but plant 2..the frostiness can be seen from far away! My first top shelf grow 😈…hopefully more to come! My glove was literally sticking to the stems and getting stuck with plant #2 The stench reminds me of thanksgiving dinner LOL..sausage stuffing and gas is what comes to mind..very savory aroma! One plant flushed partially the other not flushed and I can tell you that the flushed plant has much more flavorrrr..if this didn’t prove to me that flushing is absolutely essential IDK what would! LOL

Day 92. Girls will get 30 Yoyos and will be watered later. Still can't make my mind : A. Defoliate next watering B. Defoliate light and clear bottoms, too many airy buds, not enough light at bottom level. C. Just leave them alone, they know what they are doing ;))) All look too good, light are too close and i don't need any stress, but i want solid buds, still see chances in all ways and will make my decision during this week. Day 92. Late evening. Time has come, cleared some worthless bottoms mostly from Blue Dreams, installed 26 YoYos, took like 50-60 Top fan leaves to open secondary crown and thats last training. Notice : if you ever buy YoYos, theirs line is very important, mine is soft, but still thin like fishing line, cotton rope would be 10 times better. Day 95. Girls got feed, think to push one more feed and then start only water them till the end. Missing light a lot, too tall girls for my setup, but i am still more than happy !!! Think 3 weeks left till the end of journey ! Mini Runtz has nice structure as a plant and bud, next to him under fresh outside air ( cold now most of the time ) is Frosty Runtz, very potent and i think earliest finishing plant with other Frosty NoColour Asia Kalini. Other two Runtz are missing light, but are heavier producers too , so bud development could take longer. Two Asia Kalini, who show colour, look like twins, stacking very nice and frost is good. All Blue Dreams miss light and proper distance from light, top buds will be most airy buds on all plant, but i just ran out of space with those giants ;))) Happy Growing !!!
