It is harvest day for Miss Sweet Skunk. Due to the excessive rain this week and two places of bud rot, Mother Nature forced me to take her down. 2 more weeks would have been nice but that didn't happen.
If you have been following me then you know that Miss Sweet Skunk encountered a terrible misfortune. It hailed one evening and one of her two colas was broken. My husband found her damage first and taped her up and then put a wire tie around her. According to the grow diary question/answer platform, I was able to learn that we had done the right thing and changes were good that she would recover from her injury.
Not only did Sweet Skunk recover, but she went onto growing at a height of 2 feet, 11 inches. That is just under 100 cm. According to Royal
Queen website, "Sweet Skunk Auto seeds produce plants that grow to a very manageable height of around 60–100cm." AND even though Sweet Skunk had a broken stem, she GREW!
This plant was a very tall and lanky plant. Her buds are plentiful but started out quite small. I wish I had another couple of weeks to see her reach her full potential, but that is left for another grow. For now, I am happy she survived all the weather that Mother Nature threw at her this week and it is a good day:)
**The last two pictures are pictures of my indoor grow of Sweet Skunk that I did NOT record on grow diaries. However, it is a great way to compare an outdoor grow and indoor grow of the same strain.

5/6/25 the trichomes on this plant are spectacular and special. The cameras not picking it up very well but they shine so freaking bright. brighter than other strains. She also has a very unique smell. The breeder mentioned that thesr equatorial photo periods that show autoflower traits have a unique high as well and i wonder if thats due to the unique smell/ terpenes shes

Was away for most of the week so was left to my mate. So not really much say this week. Seeing some frosting on the bud sights but not currently as big as I’d like at this stage.

She seems to be overfed, showing yellowing here and there. Also other has some leaves have brown spots. I might have messed up the Ph because I did not adjust the Ph of nutrients mix. I assumed it was ph corrected. Now, I am adjusting the Ph and reducing feeding. Let’s hope that she recovers next week.

The mold thing is really sad. We had a super wet and humid summer so I added a fan to my setup.
I let the branch with the seeds live to let them finish up.

week 11 whole tuesday i am advancing the total cycle of this purple plant in a few days i will try to cut the 22nd day to close 90 days 2 and a half weeks after the rinse. is counting the day when the other plant was placed in the water to germinate. the other plant will update it until the end of the week. I'm still feeding 🍁🔥😎

Well she all done, now it's just time to dry her out and get her trimmed and cured. Was a great grow, can never complain when you max out your tent lol. High humidity last 2&3 weeks at night, up around 70% even with the tent walls sucking in hard and fan at full speed. Didn't see any issues while cleaning them up for dry (knock on wood), but did have to move my humidifier to be directly beside the tent with its dry air outflow blowing into the tent intake to get the environment down to 60% for drying.
Can't wait to take a taste before curing in 7-14 days once dry is done
Ladies and gentlemen we have a new winner! My new PB per plant . It didn't quite hit the pound mark but what a great turnout none the less! I'm guessing if I had the same plant in a 4x4 it would have been over, just not enough light penetration in the 3x3. Top 2/3 were solid big ol' buds but bottom third was not nearly as dense, most of which went to trim. But hey, over a pound of trim after drying will make a good amount of dry sift/hash . Great colouring and very nice purple/berry smell. Can't wait to cure it up for a true taste cause she's already tasty

I caught the sun and captured the moment as it shone on my special rose. 🌹 It was pretty windy, as you can probably tell from the video, but I think I still managed to get a few nice pictures. And finally, a video where you can see the blooms a little more clearly, along with some close-ups.
For really close-up shots, I guess I’ll have to resort to my smartphone after all. I’ll post those next time, or maybe sometime in between.

lamento solo tener video. tengo problemas con las fotos (basicamente son muy malas). las chicas estan entrando en su primera semana de floración y respondieron bastante bien al apical. próxima semana vere si es.necesaria malla ya que las nenas estan creciendo parejas todas

This tent is just crushing it this week! Everyone and their mother is covered in trichome-y goodness. These ladies definitely have a heavy diesel smell coming on this week smell going on for them!

GROWING KINDA LAGGING BEHIND. 5 OUT OF 5 SPROUTED OUTDOOR. NOW THATS A GOOD RESULT. USUALLY SPROUTING OUTDOORS IS DIFFICULT B/C CHANGES IN DAY/NIGHT TEMP IS BIG AND HUMIDITY IS LOW. PLUS NEED TO KEEP THE SOIL MOIST IS DIFFICULT OUTDOOR B/C THE SUN TEND TO TRY UP THE TOP 1/2" OF SOIL. I DO HAVE 1 STRAGLER STRUGGLING TO GROW. HOPEFULLY, SHE WILL CATCH UP. NOT GONNA TRAIN THESE. I WANT TO SEE HOW TALL THEY WILL GROW W/O TRAINING. WILL IT REALLY REACH OVER 1M FOR ME?

I was quite happy to see no more signs of Cabbage Loopers. I awoke to rain this morning so spent part of the day self-supporting the heavier branch sections. All in all everything is super sexy.
