Day 53 of flower today. I filled the reservoir from empty and stopped using the macro. I replaced it with General hydroponics Ripen at 5ml a gallon. Everything is frosty and smells good. As far looks I like the RC the best and the PE the least. I'm going to end up with a sheet ton of it out of the 3 so I hope I'm wrong! 😆 I'm going to do a lower defoliation mid week to get more air flowing. RH is stable but I just want to be careful 🧐 being this close to the finish line. This is definitely one of the easiest runs I've had. It seems PE is pretty maxed when it comes to nutrition but LMC and RC could take a bit more. My PE phenotype is super stretchy compared to them as well.

Smooth sail still trying to dial it all in and I keep adding to the setup as I grow and learn more. Like to compare other grows for future questions about strain like growth pheneos etc.

Both are doing amazing, we’re cruising right now as I’ve slowly started dosing down the nutrients. The plants are looking well fed, all leaves are beautiful dark green, more towards a burn than any deficiencies! A nice fade is starting to kick in as well on both. I’ll be leaving on holiday upcoming week, and all the plants should be more than ready to harvest once I return! both pheno’s are incredibly icy, and smell super sweet and fruity. The buds truly look insane and I can’t stop looking at them 😍

Pleasure to grow. Low maintenance in super soil setup in 5 gal cloth pot. Stayed small and compact but frosted up early and heavily. No deficiencies, steady growth, no training needed. Even minimal LST (which I did not do), would surely increase yield but I was more focused on quality and letting it do its thing. Genetically, it was determined to grow a perfect little canopy while not taking up much space, about as low maintenance as you can get on a plant imo. Running autos is still a limited thing for me, I like the idea of having keeper clones of photos as this is all for personal medical use, but this plant was fun to grow, true to form and stable as heck. I have a few seeds left and I’ll definitely save them for an outdoor run down the line

Rempotage

Great week!!! What a resilient plant, a few different times now I’ve come up with issues, I attempt to diagnose and compensate with my limited growing knowledge and the thing just keeps coming back better and healthier and stronger then before. So far, I am very happy with this strain, Dresden Green Diamond from the Garden of Green seed company because it’s been so easy for a beginner like me and it’s going so well. Looks like they are either sold out or they discontinued the strain possibly I got them as freebies with my order on Seedsman but yea super happy with it. So on to the meat and potatoes of this week. I realized the biggest issue that I have now is going to be controlling the heigh of the plant. It’s only a 4 foot tent. The pot takes at least a foot of height space away, the light is currently as high as the pulley system allows and is still hanging down a foot from the top. (I may have to end up just juryrigging a new attachment system for it to get more space. Also the plant is now about a foot tall and the light is 10 inches away. I’ve heard that they can double or more in height during flowering which would be a problem. So what to do? I topped it this week for the first time. Hoping that will redirect some of the plants energy into developing the lower branches, of which I have a healthy number. So I’m hoping they will catch up with the top of the plant and I just have a bunch of top sites. There are also 2 new top branches starting to grow from the top site. As soon as they are big enough I will bend them at a 90 degree angle to try and prevent it from going any taller than this point. I haven’t got around to it yet but I will begin LST this week as well to spread the branches out a bit and have them more horizontal to fill up more of my space. Overall, things are going great.

No great results, just notice a small growth of the buds size, leaves look dark green so I’m removing fish mix from the fertilisers

She is now in early flowering stage. So far no issues and looking forward to seeing her growing in next few weeks.

Plants are looking good so far, added about 2ml/gal to the reservoir this week and plants responded well. They are all keeping short and stocky so far and should be able to start LST training in a few days I think. I also turned up the light to 750w and the air temps are now hovering between 24c-25c. Water temps are creeping up though in the 21c range, gonna wrap the buckets tonight in foil insulation and build a water cooler for this setup soon as well. Had some Ph issues during week 4 because my pen decided to go wonky. I tried to calibrate it again and had a hard time. So I busted out an older one and decided to calibrate it and see if it worked still... calibrated in a few min and sure enough res ph was well bellow 5. So water was changed as it was time anyway and ph’d proper just before lights out so we will see what happens tomorrow.

She's been reacting pretty well and it's amazing to see her bounce back each time 😈 Week 7 ended with a blast! 🕺🏾 She's starting to smell a little, I turned on my exhaust fan on low speed, will be adding volts as the smell gets stronger. Terps are coming alive as she is taking on a delicious fruity smell. Still going very light on defoliation as I feel like the big fan leaves are still doing their job to boost photosynthesis and feed the buds. She is starting to turn purple already!!! I’m going to allow night temps to continue to drop below 10 degrees C at night, hoping for an amazing color show at harvest!

This week went well, I did some defoliation, as I am trying to keep the bud sites down on this grow, to hopefully get some tighter and denser buds. I did start adding Liquid Kool Bloom which is a P/K booster. I am now feeding at 1.65 EC. They are still stretching a little bit, but really seem to be focusing on flower growth more than anything at this point. Some very nice smells starting to come from the box. Day 106: removed some yellowed leaves. Decided to wait one more day on water. Not adding any more nutrients. Assuming harvest in 14 days. Day 107: Added one gallon of pH6.5 water with 2tablespoons of Herculean Harvest Day 108: Removed yellow or brown leaves. Added no water. Trichomes clear. The urge to harvest is huge but will go 2 more weeks. Removed a box elder bug that sneaked into the tent. Day 109: nothing new to report. Added no water. Tempted to add nutrients once more. After taking photos, removed several yellowing or browned leaves. Day 110: did not add water. Removed some more leaves. Day 111: did not add water. She is starting to look frosty. Read some mixed messages about the last two week flush and am feeling the urge to feed again. Day 112: Replaced Viparspectra 600W with a Horticulture Lighting Group Quantum Board 288 V2 and Slate 2 heatsink. Very pleased although my temperature jumped to 81°F.

Mar 24: Watering till runoff now... runoff ppm was 2500+... Will be using very mild nutes to flush over 1 - 3 feeds... or until I am near my input. Mar 26: Continuing to use 650ppm feed with bloom focus, 2L per plant gives 15% runoff... Runoff ppm is still very high... I wanted to check pH of runoff but the color is so vibrant i cant use the pH drops to view color, need to get a pH probe. Plants are thriving, no issues at all. the extra fan fixed the post-water droop. One plant is bushy and has the most bud sites, One is the smallest but has the most uniform structure, this one has the biggest buds and thickest stalk, One is about in the middle of the 2. Mar 29: one of these girls gets droopy early when its time for water, thought the canopy was too high so i tied down some more, no cigar... gonna try increasing calmag, if that doesent work im going to reposition in the grow box to a side instead of middle, may not need the upper end ppfd...

The Blackberry auto by Fastbuds has been a thrilling plant to grow. Starting off as a tri-cotyledon seedling, she's been a rush from the start. When she came out mutated I didn't even know if I wanted to keep her; I asked the growdiaries.com community for help. After speaking with a few experts I decided to keep it and see what would happen.. Since then she has developed thick healthy stocks stalks and dark leaves with ripe purple flowers bursting out between them add every node. Using a home mix super soil with Promis Organic as the base, I decided to feed compost extracts laced with Golden Tree & CalMag which helped kick this girl into over drive and push out these dense sticky buds. I'm expecting around 3 ounces from her and it's day 73 since she popped out of the soil. She has a sweet aroma and is completely covered in trichomes. Drying/ Curing process: - she will be hung upside down by the main stock until she is dry (8-12 days) - My humidity will be set to 55 - 60 % and my temps will range from 65-70 degrees F - Will store in Glas Mason jars with 2-way Boveda humidty packs. These are a lifesaver for new growers. They will keep the humidity in the jar at 62%. - after 2 weeks I'll throw down a mad sesh Thanks to everyone who offered me tips and help when I needed it.
