Hello everyone, we're on day 3 of the third week of flowering.
The plants look fairly healthy, except for the Californian Gold (in the center) which seems slightly nitrogen deficient.
They haven't grown much in height, though I've continued applying LST as branches developed. They're drinking heavily – I'm giving over 2L of water every other day.
I'm undecided about starting a PK booster (Bloombastic/Rockzbastic) at minimal doses since all plants show abundant flowering.
Regarding defoliation, which I'd been doing gradually daily, I've paused.
I also took a 2-day break from LST to let the plants 'stretch out' freely. (Admittedly, next run I'll try LST clips – installing 110 ties is exhausting to manage!)
I'm considering a final defoliation at week's end once plants develop further, but I'm uncertain. Any advice is welcome!
Fortunately, temperatures dropped slightly, though during lights-off I can't get below 25°C! (Seeking solutions).
For plant identification:
The 3 on the right are Sensi Star
The center plant and bottom-left corner plant are Californian Gold
The remaining plants on the left are Mendocino Skunk

I'm using Cannazym every other fertigation.
I've changed the irrigation schedule; I now give 1.4 L of water daily.
I stopped foliar spraying (Rhynoskin + Bud Factor X) at the beginning of week 3 of flowering.
Not all plants are 60 cm tall – only the Mendocino Skunk reaches that height. Heights range between 42 and 60 cm, with the shortest being Mendocino Skunk 1 and Californian Gold 1.
All Sensi Star plants have shown significantly more stretching and branching than I expected. Researching online, I read that light stress during the vegetative phase can trigger the expression of less common genes. Since I had a 3-day blackout (power outage) in the early weeks of veg, I think this might be one reason. (Otherwise, I simply got three more sativa-leaning seeds).
The CO2 method I'm using was given to me and contains cane sugar and yeast. It’s nowhere near as effective as a cylinder or other products, and it lasts about 45/50 days. I placed it low down, not directly above the plants, because with the extractor fan running 24/7, I figured it would stay in the grow box longer. ***

Nice growth and bud developtment. Hps still doing its thing while im sitting back and relaxing. Got to keep an hawk eye on watering. I feed full strenght going over to full canna so they were transplanted into soil. Clones doing good but the Lemon skunk clone dont feel to good. Lets see what the week will bring.

Been battling caterpillars & powdery mildew , gave them both a spray over night with some Lost Coast Therapy for the mildew & I will be spraying in another day or two with Monterey BT for the caterpillars, a lot of the mildew disappeared, about two more applications it should be totally gone.
This will literally be my last major outside grow

Still trucking along. I had my lights turned up a bit high, I've turned them down a few days ago and all the plants seemed to enjoy it.

Topped all her main node sites, going from 4 to 8 branches. Defoliated canopy to reduce overlap and promote airflow since I saw minor bites in my leafs.

ALL my new growth looked brown? This combined with the increasing biteholes in my leafs told me I had to act.
I suspected the brown growth to be a root/overwatering issue so made sure to hold off on watering for now.
For the bugs I used a 3% hydrogen peroxide dilluted 1:10 in a spray bottle with water. Sprayed leafs bottom and top till drenched, kept coming back every day to spray whenever i felt like it.

No increase in any signs of bugs, all new growth was completely green, new branches growing out. Seems like the treatment worked and decided to feed again since soil 10cm deep was dry.
4L with 0.5:1000 calmag 1.5:1000 grow and 1:1000 PR. Watering slowly to ensure even distribution of water throughout soil, want that rootmass to grow huge!

Weather forecast for upcoming weeks looks amazing, moved her outside again.
Since the autos im currently running need light priority for early vigorous growth, my Frisian lady had to make do with very low PPFD levels (80-250). All things considered she performed really well this week recovering from bugs, root issues and very low light intensity.

📆 Semana 5:
La planta sigue con su ritmo firme y constante. Los cogollos siguen engordando, ahora con más densidad y compactación. La resina se vuelve aún más abundante, cubriendo prácticamente toda la parte superior y algunas hojas vecinas.
El aroma se intensifica y se vuelve más complejo, con notas dulces y un toque terroso que empieza a destacar. La planta mantiene un consumo estable y adecuado de agua y nutrientes, sin mostrar estrés ni señales negativas.
La estructura aguanta bien el peso, gracias a una ramificación sólida y entrenudos aún cortos para lo que suele ser una auto XL. La floración sigue en pleno apogeo, y se ve que la calidad apunta alto.
Todo sigue marchando como debe, y la cosecha promete ser muy buena.

Buds are getting denser, some nitrogen deficiency started on lower leaves, a little mpk burn on big leaves , this monster is ready for harvest but I will give it another week or so coz budds are fattening quickly.

This week went fast, she is flowering at a nice rate, leaves not too damaged, just the tip drying of under hot super hps and fans, so just removed all the old damaged fan leaves, cut in half those shading under growth and tucked those healthy one when possible. She looks greyish in strong light compare to the other strains, a true grey back gorilla lol, trichomes all over buds, smell is so interesting, pine, lavenders and citrus with some other terpines blend I cannot identify yet. Fed her some Epsom salt only this week.

Hey everyone 😃.
This week she has done great 👍.
It was done again on all the drifted topping and sprayed one last time with neem oil so that the last trips are finally gone 😁.
We haven't had any pests for so many years and all of a sudden we have such little shit parts 😅.
This week it was poured twice with 1.2 l of water.
GHSC enhancer was added during a pouring (1 g per l)
The tent was cleaned every day this week and the plants were checked for health.
The humidifier is filled once a day.
Next week I will decide how I will continue the training because I have space again in the flower tent 😀.

Day 84 (day 21 flower):
Major defoliation on both the Brain Cake and Bakers Delight. Both the ladies are getting sticky! The Brain Cake smell is pretty neutral but the Bakers Delight has a bit more smell and reminds me a bit of a Tangine Kush (Rare Dankness) I grew a while back.
Changed the water reservoirs to the flower bloom booster nutrients (Plagron green sensation).
Day 86 (day 23 flower):
They seem to be coming along nicely, a tiny bit of progression in the buds since defoliating. The Bakers Delight is more sensitive to nutrients so added some tap water to dilute the nutrients a little (TDS 510 -> 470).
Day 87 (day 24 flower):
Both doing well. The Bakers Delight seems to be reacting positively to the slightly lower nutrient concentration. Both water reservoirs between 5.7 and 6.3 at all times and around 20-21c.
Day 89 (day 26 flower):
Everything seems fine, water stats are stable, for as far as I can see no deficiencies or excess, bud are growing in height and seem to be producing nice amounts of thc giving the buds a slightly grey color. Some of the pistils are turning orange very early, might be due to stress the past weeks, or the new full spectrum light or just genetics. The Bakers Delight currently has a stronger smell, also a more peppery background. The Brain Cake has a neutral fresh 'plant material' green hash smell, nothing special going on yet with her odor.
--> Slowly been hanging the light closer, at 50cm from the Brain Cake and 60cm from the Bakers Delight, will slowly lower till its approx 40cm from the Brain Cake and 50cm from the Bakers Delight (because the BD is 10 cm shorter...). Hopefully this will get the top buds to get even bigger and stronger and hopefully aswell the bottom buds will pull some weight and most importantly the bottom buds need to ripen as fast as the top buds which is usually the main issue when they dont get enough light... Curious to see how it plays out. Might need another minor defoliation around day 40-44.

Went 60 days into flower could have possibly went longer but I felt like it’s where I wanted it to be also just couldn’t wait any longer. Overall great grow a lot of challenges but with the help of this site and my own research I’m happy with the results. I will weigh after drying and trimming

I installed a webcam. Now I can learn how the plant responds. It's very interesting. I can recommend a webcam to make timelapse to everyone.
I used Booru webcam software to capture pictures. This time lapse video is of week 3 into week 4. (The light never changes, but the webcam auto-adjust messes with the colors)

Day 111, 9 weeks flowering is passed. Currently a nice fade going on. Pistils and trichomes are not really close to ripe, but I'm gonna cut her within the next week anyway because I need the tent.
Lighting hasn't been perfect, since this girl stretched like a weed, while my Harlequin didn't. Gonna be smarter on the next try :) nevertheless, she oozes of brilliant smell and taste.
