Now after stretch, I’m keeping side shoots only if they: Fill real canopy gaps Don’t crowd neighboring tops (minimum 15cm spacing) Aren’t growing into walls or toward the next plant Anything too close, too low, or heading into shade gets removed. Howdy folks. This week had some turbulent weather, and is really testing the resistances of this strain. The days have either been hot and humid, or raining non-stop. Not exactly what you want late flower, but you get what you get with outdoors! Spotted a few swollen calyxes so there must be pollen floating around. My neighbour just discovered a male plant over his side of the fence. Crossing my fingers that there were no open pollen sacks before he pulled it. Apparently the pods were tiny and hadn't opened yet but I never got to see and verify that. But... this is outdoors, and the area is very outdoorsy/foresty - so there's bound to be loads of stray males in the area. Hoping that these don't turn into seed factories 🤞 What's the latest a flowering plant can get pollinated? Are you ever in the "safe zone"?

Week 14 (Plant Week 14) = Flower Week 5 Humidity management became more serious, so I installed a dehumidifier. I focused on keeping the tent dry and stable, so everything runs properly (less risk of mold). Defoliation continued gradually across Week 13 into Week 14: small cuts consistently over time instead of one heavy session. Today (end of Week 14) I did the final defoliation session. This is the last major trim; I’m not planning to remove more leaves going forward. Buds now have a stronger smell, and the resin is very sticky during handling. If you want it even tighter, here’s a one-paragraph version you can use as a caption: Caption version: “Flower Week 3–4: Started gradual defoliation and canopy control. Plants kept stretching longer than expected, so I added new tie-down points and continued LST. Reduced light to ~60% after heavier trimming to reduce stress. Humidity was high, so I installed a dehumidifier in Week 4 and focused on keeping the tent dry and stable. Today I finished the final defoliation; buds are now noticeably more aromatic and extremely sticky/resinous.”

Transplanted the seedlings to 17l pots, the ak-47 showed she was a male so I killed her

The Papaytons got transplanted today into 3gal fabric pots in RootsOrganics707 soil. These are staying outdoors for the rest of the season. Fingers crossed, it's not too late, but I have a good feeling it'll all work out. All in all Happy Growing.

Not much to report this week. She's starting to smell more funky like that good dank stank. Before it was all pine and citrus scents. You can catch a whiff without having to rustle with it. Her buds are stacking nicely and looking THICK thick. I think the next few weeks are gonna be just that.... fattening up and ripening. Her colas are nicely shaped and even the bottom "popcorn" nugs feel dense. Def bigger than popcorn nugs I've seen. Anyways here's the update on her, I hope you enjoy following the grow! Well I thought for sure I was going to harvest a few days ago. Looks like it’s going to be one more week. Only getting pH water at this point and no nutrients. Starting to get a little color shift in the leaves but nothing crazy. Bud is dense and smells absolutely amazing. Slight bit of a Fox trail going on but not bad at all. Turns out I was very lazy and never raised my light up for 3 weeks and they were getting 1,000+ PAR at the tops for 18hrs a day. A few more days till she gets cut.

Adding in additional nutrient called Overdrive for weeks 2-4

Drying Will be about 14 days.

Germination went well she was a beautiful large purple seed when I see her I knew she was going to be a nice phenotype . I use fish tank water as my base which is 350 parts per million then I added 1 ml of biogrow and 0.25 ml of biobloom . pH 6.5

Clone #1 has rooted and started getting a thinker base to her. My ph dropped pretty low from feed boungvtoo heavy. She has been flushed, and fed again. Will likely repeat again tomorrow to ensure her ph doesn't rebound. She should start showing revegging signs soon. It was kinda a craopy time to take a clone. Looks like it will work out though, just gonna take time. Very exciting time. Drinking a gallon a day each plant. Three very different geno/phenos. Back left is oily stout Z leaning plant. The biggest plant (right side) is kush mintz leaning with more yield than anything. The 3rd has nice sphere sized bugs coming in. Heavy feeders

Today's the beginning of week 2 veg, Plants are under 600w MH lights now. Roots are growing and spreading out nicely as you can see them popping out the bottom of the pots. By the end of this week when all plants have roots popping out of the bottom they will be transplanted into 20ltr fabric pots. Feeding upped to 400ml per 3 days on average.
