Day 42 - Kinda crazy how fast it's gotten to be day 42 (the meaning of life - *) in the grow. Haven't watered yet. Plan on doing that with the above nutrient schedule tomorrow or the day after. And I think that might be the last time I give any nutrients to the plant. Pistils are beginning to curl, and I've seen (just a few) amber tirchomes on one bud. I want to harvest on the earlier side because I don't want this harvest to have a big couch-lock effect. Prefer a more cerebral high, although some bodily relaxation is nice too. So I think I will be harvesting at the latest by April 10th (Day 56). Of course I will continue to watch how the plant develops and if no further trichomes are turning yellow/brown in a week, I'll wait longer. The trichomes on the sugar leaves have a wonderful lemon citrus smell by the way. Not what I was expecting, but that's fine 😛 Day 45 - Made a video of the trichomes. They definitely look cloudy enough to me. No more nutes for sure, harvest in 10 days max I think.

Woche drei der Blüte und alles Bestens! Aufgrund der dichten Struktur habe ich die Pflanze an Blütetag 19 großzügig ausgedünnt. Bei photoperiodischen warte ich damit bis mind. Blütetag 21. Die kleine Auto Blueberry Banana scheint aber schon recht weit, daher habe ich hier keine Bedenken. Seit Mitte der Woche scheinen die Blattspitzen etwas Überdüngung anzuzeigen. Der Drain mit Osmosewasser bei ph 6,4 und 20 microSiemens hat ph6,7 und 800microSiemens. Setze die Stickstoffgabe etwas herab indem ich Hesi Blüte reduziere und pk13/14 ergänzend zuführe. Erhöhe somit gleichzeitig Phosphor und Kalium.

She’s starting to show signs of finishing and I’ve already given her a bit of a flowering nute boost, but she will be going in to flush once I get about 10/15 amber and the rest as milky as I can get. Still waiting for some pistils to turn orange or curl but that’s okay. I’ve got time. 🍭

Still in the HPS tent but now they are under the LED again and doing pretty well as the roots are filling the pots out they are eating faster. Did a couple foliar feeds with the Growzyme at less than 1 ML/Gal which they seem to like. Hoping to get a little more vertical growth before they kick into flower. Also been doing some bottom feeding which I have been experimenting with a little bit. It seems to increase rate of growth and the plants seem a little happier when I do a few feeds like that in a row. Clones adventure. Mom's recovering. Spoiler: it was a very bad idea to put the clones into such large plastic pots and flood the propagator with too much water. Yes, the environment was fine, but there was no airflow through the coco, so the cuts rotted and I had to re-transplant the clones again after cleaning off the damaged parts. Meanwhile, the mom is happy and recovering very fast.

The week started with spider mites. I saw them on the frosted guava and decided to take all of my plants outside to separate them a little even if the temperatures dropped under 10 degrees Celsius. Also I found a cockchafer in the room which had obviously time to spread his eggs. After I did this, the amount of spider mites reduced. I ordered some predatory mites and nematodes which I will use as soon as the will arrive. 11.06 I watered the plants with 150+150+150 ml pure water. It’s the last bottled water. From here the plants will get only tap water. 14.06 released the nematodes with around 1-1,2L for each plant. 15.06 released the predatory mites on a wet kitchen paper towel 16.06 LST Frosted Guava
