February 20, 2019 update: Pretty much just waiting for these girls to be ready for harvest. Everything is moving along nicely at this point. Planning on feeding until the end of February, then starting a 2 week flush - at least with the Cherry and DinaMed, I may let the Critical+ and Cookies & Cream go a little longer. Fed MegaCrop, Cal+Mag Pro and Mammoth P this week. I've used up the last of my Mammoth P at this point. It will be MegaCro & Cal+Mag Pro only until flush. All pics were taken with the lights on. I tried color correcting the best I could, but the pics really don't represent the actual colors very well. Usually I try to get some pics with the lights off also, but I was not able to do that last week. I'll make sure to get some better pics next time. 👍

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. And hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. Painkiller XL is notable for its near-equal representation of 6 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 7 percent cannabidiol (CBD), achieved by a seed that's 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica. According to the California-based Steep Hill Cannabis Analysis Laboratory, this equalization brings to the cannabis user not just the physically healing aspects, but also the spiritually and psychologically healing benefits as well. There are other strains with very little THC and more CBD than Painkiller XL , but rare are such splendid balances. Producers of this strain say it produces a considerable amount of pain relief, with a mild, relieving mental euphoria. With a flowering time of eight weeks, the Painkiller XL seed can produce 525 to 575 grams per plant indoors. Inside, the dried yield is 400 to 450 grams per plant. I am happy with the outcome of this grow. This was my first time growing autoflowers and ILGM genetics. Total wet weight was 1301 grams Total dry weight 8.5 oz These plants are very hardy and grow tall very quickly with the tallest plant reaching 4 ft tall. Each plant grew very different bud structures which resulted in some very dense and very fluffy buds. If you are looking for a very uniform growing plant with dense buds you may need to look for another strain. The smell from these buds are strong and amazing. I would describe the smell as fruity glue with rubber. I am overall very pleased with how this grow went and I cant wait to grow some more!

The Strawberry Banana from Canuk seeds is doing good she is the smallest girl so far an the only one still not topped I don't think I'm going to top her an mite just let her do her Christmas tree thing she would be a little taller but she grew with a curved stock for some reason she's been growing great tho have not had 1 problem with her Ending week 4 of veg this girls is starting to pick up some good pace so she has been topped an has been doing great since she is deff doing great with this cultured biologix nutrients with her big fan leafs soaking in all the light from the medic grow fold 6

Buds are hardening but not getting much bigger, 0 vertical growth. Leaf tip burn so diluted the nutrients. Funny little plant.

After 13 weeks of flowering, Lemon Cherry Gelato is finally ready. I haven't watered her for the last three days. Her buds are extremely sticky and shiny. 🍋🍒🍦

Its starting to look more like a forest from each day that goes on. frost also starting to appear already and we are still early in flower ;) d.66 all good in the hood, ill will try to pull those 2 who are very close to the light more back to the wall, so the lower stalks can get light and space d.66 a little bit of bamboo and lst done without problems 🌞

So Xmas is over and I managed a harvest on the most mature at 15% amber. I smoked half the plant already so the yield ain't great, However the quality is there! The buds are sooo sparkly! Smell of OG kush and cheese but with a hint of cleaning product lol. The others are catching up! Currently Trich watching the next most mature.

Warning beast of a plant lol My Northern Lights #10 plant is an absolute beast! It's the biggest in the tent, growing incredibly strong. Even the second-deck buds are developing with amazing vigor. This plant is a true powerhouse, and I can't wait to see the massive yield it produces. It's got that classic Northern Lights aroma – earthy and sweet with a hint of pine. This one's gonna be a winner! This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!

Week 1 Day 1 - Clones #1 and #2 are looking alright, not super strong and slight nutrient deficiency issues, but OK. Will just observe for now. - These clones are currently under a very mild CFL light (20 cm away and about 200 ppfd measured roughly by phone app - Tent Buddy.) - Clone #3 still need to be covered to maintain moisture. Yesterday I un-cupped the clone and it wilted a lot. This morning it looks better again after a night of rest under the plastic cup. - I've checked the run off and these clone's pH are so low, while TDS are so high (pH 5.7 and TDS 800pm). This evening, I flushed them with pH 6.5 water and brought the runoff to about pH 6.0 and 350 ppm) Week 1 Day 2 - Just foliage spray with mild CalMag this morning. Soil is still moist, so no watering. Week 1 Day 3 - Just minor watering today. Glad to see the clones are doing well as they are growing a bit everyday. Will transfer them to 3 gallon airpots with new soil mix soon. Week 1 Day 4 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Add 5ml of 250 ppm of balanced NPK nutrients AN B52 for each plant. Week 1 Day 5 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Transfer them to 3 gallon airpots. Week 1 Day 6 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Skip watering. The clones responded OK to the new airpots. Week 1 Day 7 - TBA

Eccoci ragazzi! Ultimo giorno Dell anno e anche ultimo giorno di vegetativa! Da stasera precisa si cambiano ore di luce e la porto in fioritura, nonostante la sorella è molto più piccola, nn posso aspettare oltre altriementi questa mi diventa troppo alta e grande e avrò problemi.. Quindi come potete vedere da voi, la ragazza sta davvero in ottima salute! Nessun segno di carenza, un verde intenso che è segno di benessere, e radici davvero enormi e giganti! I nodi del fusto sono grossi e spessi quidni penso proprio che nn dovrò mettere alcun sostegno alle cime, sono convinto che questa sarà una delle mie migliori piante idroponiche mai cresciute, è il mio secondo ciclo hydro e sto mettendo a frutto le conoscenze apprese dalla prima esperienza, dalla quale ho tirato fuori un erba spettacolare, ma le cime erano piccole e le piante erano troppo alte, speriamo questa volta che nn accada lo stesso con questa! Questa genetica unita ai nutrienti Terra Aquatica, ha fatto in modo che la pianta avesse un vigore eccezionale! Ma visto una pianta crescere così rapidamente, in suolo o in altro modo, l idroponica se fatta bene con i prodotti giusti ti da risultati impressionanti, basta che alla fine si fa un bel lavaggio delle radici con i prodotti giusti e acqua pura, e vedrete che avrete Dell erba spettacolare! Sono orgoglioso davvero di star avendo un risultato così spettacolare, mentre l altra volta ho avuto problemi di carenza di Cal/mag questa volta glielo ho dato fin dalle prime soluzioni nutritive, quidni verde intenso e foglie spesse, già ora fa odore nonostante nn ci siano fiori! Cmq sono davvero orgoglioso di far parte di questa famiglia spettacolare che è questo social! Mi sta dando le soddisfazioni poi grandi di tutta la mia vita! Day 15 - Fresh tank and not much new to report. pH was remaining incredibly stable through last week so skipped a fresh feed week. 300A doing its job keeping the water at a nice 19C. As noted, girls got topped a couple of days ago. They're rebounding nicely. Will start some LST on the branches now through the week. Will be the usual balance pH at the start of the week and hopefully stabilise quickly. Using the Botanicare kind ratios (Expert Recipe) if not the same volumes so base to grow is 2 to 3 ratio this week. Thats about it for now (Will add some pics and last week time lapse in a bit when lights are on). Happy growing all!!! 💪

Day 10F-17F (Day 10F) Everything is looking on point. I’m going to soak in a gallon of lite compost tea diluted to 400ppms on each plant except for #5. I’m still a little worried I won’t make it through the stretch but at the same time I fear N toxicity just as much. I will give one more lite tea before the end of stretch, most likely at the end of this week. (Day 12F) Ladies responded nicely to the tea except for BBB#1. It just isn’t looking as vigorous as it was last week. It’s the only one without an air hose so I guess it couldn’t hurt to grab one. The air hose does without a doubt prevent overwatering in soil and I’m surprised I don’t see more people using it. It’s cheap, effective and gives me similar results to growing in pure coco. I’m going to give one more light foliar spray of 3ml of calmag, 3ml of kelp and 2.5ml of insect frass. (Day 14) Got the air hose hooked up to all 5 plants now. I hate that I’ve been forced to defoliate so much in early flower and it is definitely reducing bud size. Last round my bbb’s had pistil clumps twice the size at this time and they were dealing with severe deficiencies. I’m hoping it’s just genetics or the fact they are larger plants. (Day 15) I’m starting to see signs of N toxicity on the some of the new growth and overall growth on all plants except #1 has slowed. It was most likely caused by the foliar spray/tea combo. No more feeding anything for the next 12 days at least. Luckily it’s still pretty early in flower but I know that N tox can hit really hard after the stretch stops. I would be pretty upset if I vegged for 80 days only to get severe N tox in mid flower. Since it’s not breaking down in the soil, I should be fine. I’m going to defoliate some more of the large bottom fan leaves as they hold large reserves of extra nutes I don’t need. Hopefully these small defoliations aren’t stressing them at all. Next round I plan to do a big strip one week before flower, at transplant and a second big strip on day 21. (Day 17) I think I was over-worrying about the seriousness of the N tox. I’ve seen it hit very hard in mid flower and can’t be too careful. It’s almost always caused by water soluble nitrogen so I’ll try to stay away from that unless I absolutely need it. My case does not look to alarming just yet. I noticed the stunting on #3 right after that last tea so I am going to stop giving the last liter of compost tea because of how unbalanced and separated at the bottom it is. It sure helped out the other 4 plants that didn’t get the granulars from the bottom of the bucket. I‘m planning to give a bloom tea around day 26 and a final top dress a few days later. #1 has now out stretched everything else in the tent. I honestly was not expecting that. If #3 didn’t get stunted this whole week I think it would be the taller/heavier plant.
