Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! BOOMING. Have had an unusual amount of thrips and noticed a few Katydid nymphs on Tuesday (7/22), so I hit everything with 1.5tsp Neem Oil and 1 tsp of Dr Brommers soap in a 1 qt sprayer. I also decided to do my only planned dusting of Diatomaceous Earth. Executed that on Wednesday, 7/23, and also top dressed with DE to attack larvae. Thursday 7/24 Mixed up first batch of flowering top dressing. I put it into a 55 gal garbage can and watered it to get the cooking process started. Will only let it go for a week or so and then will top dress the girls.

LSD has gone crazy over the last week, insane bulk-up in her buds, from top to bottom, in by the stock and out to the tips, she's just bulky, dense, sticky, frosty and incredible! By far, the best looking results from any of my LSD grows. Green Crack also looks incredible and the rest of the ladies, while doing awesome, will be their final grow in my garden. Week 11 for Black Lebanon by SSSC Growth wise i don't feel that she's growing very much only thing i really notice from the pics is she might be filling in a little. Last week was another hot hot week but we are coming down to the low 30's again for the rest of the upcoming week so think the plants will be happier. I wish the growing area wasn't so sheltered to wind as i feel like these bigger girls would really benefit from it. This week ive tried to water wayyyyy more than i have due to the hot weather, she got 15L some days & 7L other days but nearly everyday.

Another decent week I would think. Only issue is the CDLC. She seems to be a slow grower but no new issues have popped up on her. Miracle Berry Express is a monster. I'm LSTing every day...I don't really know when to stop so...yeah.. Everyone is looking good. This is first grow but I have really good feelings about it. Gave em all a hair cut too. I think I took too much though. Next time I won't take any small ones. I'm pretty sure I stunted some nodes....I'll have a pretty big harvest regardless I'm thinking. I kinda just listen to the plants...if they look like they have an issue I'll respond. Otherwise I let them do their thing.

12/13 - Day 71 - Watered with Recharge and Molasses. The girls have started to show signs of light burn. I'll find something shorter to put the smaller two plants on. The big girl is going to have to keep burning until I chop the other two down. Once she's alone in the tent I'll be able to pull the branches down and out in order to create more space between the tops and the light. 12/18 - Day 76 - Got a bigger tent so the ladies could stretch their legs. I fed a slightly stronger dose of nutrients yesterday and its pretty evident it was too much for the plants because slight nutrient burn symptoms have returned. Fan leaf discoloration and a few tips clawing. Will back off for the next few waterings and watch them closely. Flowers are all developing nicely.

This week I will be increasing nutrients, continue with leaves tucking and perhaps will install scrog net by the end of the week. Wishing you all a wonderful week ✨🍀✨ 06/11 day 29 Watered 500ml each pot and sprayed with water and fish mix solution. 08/11 day 31 Girls started growing faster. Good few cm in to all of the directions in one night. Watered again with 500ml each pot as belive that they need just a bit more time for the first runoff experience. 11/11 day 34 It was a Spa day for the 🍌💜👊 girls. Full package; 1st - removed 7-10 fan leaves from each girl. 2nd - LST on few longer branches 3rd - shower with fish mix and water solution. 4rd - Watering 500ml for Athena and approx 300ml for Xena. 12/11 What a great and a bit busy week with my girls. Perfect response on yesterday selective defoliation and stretching. No signs of any stress. 🌸 Week 4 Flower — stacking hard! 🌸 This week buds really started to bulk up and frost over ❄️. Pistils are everywhere, calyxes swelling, and the tent is getting that loud smell — fruity and gassy terps filling the air 🚀. Humidity is now fully under control thanks to the dehumidifier (holding steady at 50–55%), so no more worries about mold 👌. Light intensity is increased to max safe PPFD, and I can clearly see the difference in bud density. Nutrients are now PK-heavy with Big Bud Powder and Bud Candy — plants are clearly loving it 🍭💪. I also added Rhino Skin to strengthen the cell walls, making them more resistant to stress. Mistakes from earlier are visible (JetFuel is still behind in size), but the rest of the plants are pushing hard. Looking forward to the trich explosion next week ✨.

Start of week 7! Week 6 went really well. The Blue Dream has show the most signs of nute deficiency, but it hasn't gotten any worse. She's also very sticky, with dense buds that are starting to fatten up. This lady is on an 8 week schedule, removed big bud and added overdrive to the nute lineup.

As the days go by and the weather in my area is getting colder, I've got a difference from almost 10 degrees between night and day, so one of the girl is getting some purple colors in the buds. Everything else seems normal, I just had to change the light cause my 600W LED fell out. Now I'm using a 200W till I hopefully can fix the other light.

Plants are looks great .. 2 of the plants have huge colas already and getting bigger and fatter everyday.. I'm hoping the other 2 catch up ..lol Been having some issues while mixing my nutrients in my resivor.. Got alot of great info from other growers on GD network and was able to resolve my issues... Turns out the rhino skin was causing all the issues ... Since getting some help I havent had any issue with the nutrients mixture.. I also cut down on how much additives I add each feed.. Also notice my stems are purple... from what I remember they were always purple since I got the clones ... maybe genetics or sulfur deficiency or something ... anyways to far into the week to be worried about that , although this maybe why 2 of the plants have slower bud production..

SUNDAY 4/21: I fed them about 1/3 gallon each today. Switched to Beastie Bloomz and increased terpinator. I inspected them for nanners and found one.. Will take some photos tomorrow- MONDAY: Life got in the way and I didn't have much time for the garden. TUESDAY: I rearranged and took some photos today. I've still got Candy Canes in both tents. One big one and one small one in the big tent, and 2 small ones in the little tent. WEDNESDAY: Took some photos and a video. WIll water tomorrow- THURSDAY: I watered with about 1/3 gallon and included some terpinator, calimagic, and beastie bloomz. The biggest one is finally starting to put on the pistils. She'll be the slowest CC I've grown to date, but also possibly the biggest yielder. The other 3 didn't do much stretching, but I did a bunch of training on them to get some separation and better light penetration into the lower flowers FRIDAY: I did some more training on them today and I made some improvements to my fresh air a/c intake in the tent that dropped the temp a couple of degrees, and the new dehumidifier is keeping the RH right where I want it..45-50%.👌 This allows the evap cooler to be more effective at cooling as well...above 50% RH and it's basically just a fan..

This update is a day early but this girl is booming growth in the last week has been amazing shes drinking like a monster gobbling it up .started the bowl training got the top 6 branches tied will tie the rest when they are big enough removed a few leaves I think shes gonna start showing some pistols shortly hope can get a bit more growth first but im happy with her thanks for reading happy growing guys

The flush week! Seemed ok - def had nitrogen toxicity in one purple berry kush - maybe too much ripener before. But we’re here - will give them the 24 now and chop. We’re out of time on this run. 90^% of the crop are where I want them to be however I thought I would have more droopy leaves. Will do the harvests on Monday anyways. Have a great week. "What you get for a bag seed" week - I've stopped using the Nitrogen reach nutrient. Bloomax is 1.7:14:14.5 NPK, by the leaves it seems like they have a slight nutrient burn, so it feels right to reduce nutrients. - I've done some really low stress training on PE, just opened a light space for lower buds And............... - 'I think I saw a pollen sac', indeed suddenly something green appeared on the top part one of BD's biggest colas.... I've decided to use tweezers and get it out - Now I imagine hermis everywhere, I've read about them a bit, mainly looking for images.... Something about PE doesn't feel right. Just spoke to friend and he also thinks PE has many pollen sacs. I'm going to try to save it - problem is I can only see the bastards when I take a picture with extra zoom... at least she's not huge. I guess BD is pollenated by now.... will update..... EDIT: I've transferred PE outside, week 6 of flowering starts today, so I think I'll harvest her in 10 days. She originated in a bag seed, so I'm taking it easy, learning a lot!!!! My first grow is kind of a rehearsal - the feminized seeds arrived couple of weeks ago and I hope to start a new diary soon :)
