may 11: start of week 7

the buds are getting fat. it likes lots of nutes. showing slight fade now on the super green leaves... cant really say ive done much this week. the buds smell a bit rank though if im honest but getting super dense!

Don't mind the additional plants, they'll be joining along but won't be a focus in this journal. By this point, all of the plants are really upping their drinking frequency. I can tell by next week, I'll be watering every day. Seriously loving this pairing of nutrients together. A huge note to make though, is little pistils are popping up everywhere now! It'll be two weeks - max - before we are in flower! The health of all of these girls really makes the transition, that much more exciting! Got 4 really similar plants and 2 uniques to fill in the gap. My headcanon is treating all of these Ethos plants as rare items - like in a videogame 😂. Given how expensive these genetics are, it's kind of true lmao. One relevant footnote I wanted to make was that the Banana Dad Photo seems to have far thicker fan leaves than the autoflower counterparts at this stage. You can see it quite prevalently in the overview photo for the week. Tucking the autos has been very painless, and an emergency defol.(to get light where it needs to be) doesn't seem to bring any drawbacks. The photo seems to be recovering still from removing one of the main fan leaves about a week ago. Visually, she seems a bit behind the Banana Dad auto I refer to as BR, just with larger fan leaves. Either way, I'm sure they'll stretch a decent amount within the next two weeks. I also raised the light up a bit more, to hopefully encourage just a bit more vertical growth during the trans. stretch. Day 44 from seed update: All of the girls look great! As a matter of fact, there are actual buds now! And it may be hard to see, but there's a slight blue-ish hue appearing on the older fan leaves - A similar thing happened to my Early Lemon Berry just before she went completely purple/magenta. I'm also welcomed to a sweet grape scent now every time I open the tent, really pleasant. Things are going quite smooth during transition, within the next two weeks, I'll be removing XSD from the schedule(recommended according to Labmor). Then it will just be BSM and Liquid Seaweed until it's time to give em' the chop! Cheers all! Excited for what's to come. Stay safe & blessed!😄😷🙌

Short and chunky. I expected this girl to have stretched more than she has. Hoping she continues to stretch. She has a lovely canopy with a nice amount of tops so hoping the lack of height won't impact the yield. She is developing really well. I can't wait for the smells to begin to develop!

Didn't stretch as much as she might have done which suits me. On target for plenty of compact buds. Taking the Shogun coco nutrient range like a champ. Only issue I've had is having to defoliate more times than I'd like.

Nothing serious topped dressed with power bloom Gaia green going to flip in day or two

The growth went as planned, not too bushy and not mich stretch and fast flower

As you can see the xs2000 from viparspectra builds some fat dense buds. They are full of plump milky trichomes. They are being flushed with ro water and will get chopped soon.

End of the first few days of the transition. They all got a significant defoliation to open up space in the canopy for branching and the plants responded incredibly well to it. Plants 1&2 started to show immediate deficiency signs after defoliation and I upped the nute ratios by about 50%/liter with the Berkana. Voracious feeder and growers these are for sure. That said, their growth rate is phenomenal and the side branching is especially impressive and responsive to training. Veg. Maturity on all of em for the last week so it’s a fast growing strain all around👌. Well throw down the scrog net in a couple of days after we hack out the lower portions of each plant and take clones for all of em but the runt (#8). The clones will be flowered fast in the aeroponic cloner and pollinated for F3 generation seed. Bud characteristics on this run will then determine which clones get tested first based on best characteristics of the lot. So far this run has been incredibly impressive but only the bud quality will tell the true tale. Here’s hoping for continued good progress. ***Grow notes: stretching at about 1/2” per day over the last 3 days of transition. Side branching reaching enough maturity to start taking cuts. Minor deficiency signs post-defol. So increasing nute ratios on a slightly accelerated basis continues to be the norm.

Plants seemed close to finish so i defoliated on day 52. The plants went through shock. I will not be doing this again Attempting Generative steering, i dropped humidity and allow the pots to dry out more. Watering every 2 days by hand

Week 8, probably the last week of Veg , it will depends on how the main tops are gonna grow compared to the side shoots that are supposed to fill up the inner holes. If the plants redirect their energy in the shoots instead of the main tops I could be able to add another week of Veg , plants have been ScrOG’ed and shaped for this but after all they will decide by their own if they fill that the main tops are to low to catch the male pollen they will send the energy in the side shoots to get a chance to catch it ! Plants grows for only one purpose, to reproduce ! And the Cannabis has an maniac obsession to reproduce this is why it makes it so resilient ! And this why it gets twice bigger in just 2-3 weeks when it stretch. So, if you’re reading this my friends, you will understand that the time to prepare your girls for the stretch is now ! Starting to bump the feeding mix with some Veg nootz preparing them for the battle as they will use a lot of Nitrogen ! And for the ones who are just looking the pictures like if this diary was a comic book, they still won’t understand why their plants are getting yellow in middle of flowering when roots doesn’t absorb Nitrogen anymore as they will only concentrate on P-K (Mg/Sulfur) and getting doomed with no solution to fix it. D22 - 10.4 - All the plants recovered well from topping and I'm just letting them put out new grow for the next weekish. We might come across some opportunity to LST this week 😀👍 D26 - 10.8 - I've been learning a lot. At this point, even though I snapped a branch 😤😪😂 I'm super happy. I managed to save the snapped branch with duck tape. It lost a fan leaf but I think she'll be ready to train again in a wee. All my other training is going well. I've figured out how I like to hook my lst anchors etc. Whole lot of fun watching them adapt and grow. D28 - 10.10 - Heck, we have had a massive heat wave! 😤😫😣 I've been managing temps as best I can, but it has crept up to 33C near the soil the past couple days. I'm sad I already stored my window A/C but trying to keep the vibes good 🙏👍

Well from day one it was evident that the sativa lineage was going to be a big factor in this ladies growth . She was a fast germinating lady and that gave me a plant which was really ensuing to blow up with growth both vertical and horizontal. The plant was put into a raised bed in the end and that have her roots the room needed to give my plant the boost it needs . The soil was garden soil with promix bx and added Mycorrhizae as well .The strain it's self was amazing with dense fat buds covered in trichomes that are all milky with small amber at week 7 flower .. The plants stretch period was about two weeks and if not for the taller plants shading her out this one would have been a monster .. I'm going to be putting another one outdoors next year of This strain it's just to terpy and pretty to not have again . Once it's all dried and cured I'll post some pictures and get a smoke report going so that the true magic of this strain can be explored .. Besides all of this I would suggest anyone to try the this seed brand they have awesome Genetics and are very good with customer support and shipping is always discreet and they take care of your needs .. check them out and see for yourself how good there strains are!!! Updated part ... Wow the smoke was so good these buds re drying up to dense buds that are covered in white fluffy trichomes that cover the whole bud and sugar leaves .. it's truly a tasty strain with the biggest head high but also not a crazy couch locker it's a solid mix for late afternoon night time . I smoked a bit of a tester branch and was so medicated I loved it .. will be going In to my garden next year as she is in my top 5 of strains I have grown now .. it's a very special lady with super strong smoke and very nice bag appeal . Don't sleep on this strain she is an original and won't be forgotten in my garden . Just wow makes me want to grow as many of their strains as I can . Next year is looking good all ready
