Another week down, and we had some interesting weather. Big thunderstorms, lots of rain and hail. But the ladies were safe outside in my greenhouse. This gal is still growing fantastically and added some bat guano and bio-fish for all the essential love. All good things. Still have months and months of growth left but looking great.

The plant was easy to grow overall .. it grew fast and a little on the tall side which had me nervous but I was able to raise the lights up just enough to finish, so it all worked out in the end. buds came out hard and frosty no complaints . This was a freebie seed too! didn’t expect it to come out as fire as it did man was i wrong. Straight fire 🔥 Ran into root rot in the beginning of veg but the great white and hydroguard saved my ass.🙏

Week 9 the flushing begins! Mandarin dreams 1 & 2 are both looking happy and healthy. Frosty ladies with a unique smell, especially #2, she's the star of th grow. Excited for harvest, in the next 4-5 days. Thanks for stopping by growfessors! 👽🌳🔥

Back with the Lemons, Thanks for coming by! Day 44 - Height: LP#1 @ 36" / LP#2 @ 33" The Lemons move into week 7. They have a fantastic smell now! The scent in the room is a sugary, sweet citrus backed up by a spicy black pepper. I pruned off the lower leaves that were turning yellow, many of them were squashed and bent from the walls anyway and some were actually hanging off where they've been pushed about a bit in the space, but it's all good. The buds on LP#2 are really tightening up now, but they're really making the buds on LP#1 look a bit leggy, especially the buds on the side stems. In terms of issues, there is some pretty serious light bleaching going on in the tips of the leaves, but what's done is done, so I'll have to keep an eye out for that in future grows. Otherwise plants look healthy. Leaf Surface Temperature at the canopy is 25c, which is about 2-3c lower than the ambient temps in the space, so I think thats all good, despite the light bleaching they shouldn't be suffering from heat stress too much really. Hopefully going to see the buds fatten up real nice over the next couple of weeks before harvest! Day 48 - Height: LP#1 @ 36" / LP#2 @ 33" Day 48 and the Lemon Twins are really starting to get sticky and pack on the weight now. LP#2 can't hold herself up at all anymore, so I've had to string a whole bunch of wires up to keep the side stems vertical. It's nice though because it condenses the footprint in my tent. I did the same with my Kush from last grow and it actually makes my space a bit easier to deal with. I think they must be approaching harvest window in a week or so, but I'm going to let them run a couple more weeks at least before I start checking trichomes seriously. All healthy and nothing bad to report though! One thing I'm not really sure about and keep trying to research is the effect of light bleaching on plants. Mine always suffer from quite severe light bleaching or nutrient burn on the tips by this point in their lifecycle which actually comes mostly from the heat and light coming back off the reflective walls I think, as it burns the leaves next to the walls the most. My plants seem to grow well and look healthy in all other respects though and they yield well enough, so I don't really know if it's a problem. I need to read a lot more about this. Clones, week 2. Transplanted into 5 gallon self watering buckets

This week I started her LST and bent her top over as far as possible without snapping and locked her in place. I use soft wire "Gear Ties" sold in the hardware section of most places. I got mine at Home Depot. I highly recommend these for anyone serious about Lst. I kept her in this position for about 4 days before adjusting placement and pulling the main top back down below the lower branches. I have been maintaining the same feeding schedule "week 4 hydro" 3/4 str main nutrients, 1/2 str Open Seasame. She started showing preflowers on me even though it's been in an 18/6 light cycle. So that's why OS and week 4 feeding was opted. Even though the plant was technically 2 months old, she's only been fed and treated right for 2 weeks now. So week 7 from seed, I started at the week 3 schedule.

I did some barrier as is the last week i can do foliar spray as these bastards but furthermore is really a red flag as u can create the conditions for contract some fungi. By a lot of having still figuring out the perfection of both illumination & thermals , still trying to enhance the light spectrum , and doing the first interaction with uv exposition to check that plants dont stress or physically burn, as i want to do the uv shit for late flowering as i expect by genetics this shit SHOULD BE A QUICK FLOWERING so, im entering to late flowering and do it for entire 4 weeks and then consider if plants show that are ripe enough, considering there is a quick underdeveloped automatic at bottom on a 12/12 scenario, and thus that motherfucker will not be forgiven by it unstability of this batch. 👻 Also i noticed i had slight fox-tailing that was quite provoked by messed up outside weather, so i still may need to ellaborate on lights to prevent excess of generated heat as well, as can incur in some penalty . I have a faint idea how to deal with as HEAT HERE WILL BE HELL.
