What a week, So I did a run off test end of last week and they was really high, but I would like to address the DNA Mills cork as I am using this in just one pot (A) to try it out I used 3/4 (B) to my normal coco in another pot 50:50 (C) in another at a 1/4 (D) then when just my normal coco mix ( E) and I havent seen much difference other then the retention of water... UNTILL NOW. So evaluating all my reading I have from run off this is how it WAS sitting running water with an EC 0.7 Ms/cm A - 2.4 Ms/cm B - 2.3 Ms/cm C - 2.0 Ms/cm D - 1.9 Ms/cm E - 1.5 Ms/cm So my conclusion is that I dont like the cork maybe I'm using it wrong somehow I dont know but in my experience, it seems to be grabbing hold of all the salts and not letting go, so this week I ran litres and litres of water through them to bring them down I can only get A down to 1.4 Ms/cm and am struggling to get it any further down does anyone have any suggestions. As for the deficiency I was supposed to I produce the PK booster beginning of this week and couldn't with the run off being so high, well that's what I'm hoping anyways 😂. Plant A doesn't seem to be swelling like the rest (front left in pictures) I'm hoping this is down to genetics if anyone else has any thought I'd love to hear them. Cleared the tent of all my remaining vegetable starts on day 61, cleaned up some of the bottom growth.

This week the plants went through a lot of training. First, at the beginning of the week, the humidifier was taken out, the light was set to 4, and I applied worm castings to reduce the Ph level. Then two older plants got topped, and applied LST on the main branches. I rolled the main branches between my fingers to soften the branches until they are limp. Then tied down the tallest branch. Then, the rest of the plants got topped. By the end of the week, ALL of the plants were topped at the fifth node and trimmed under growth, up to the third node. This prepares them for top bud production and sets the plants into healing mode. Which will increase yield and terpene production. Note: the baby Lemmosa plants are very healthy and vibrant and young enough to withstand the HST!

The ladies look great and healthy. They are growing fast. They just started week 4 and they are starting to pre-flower. Banana Purple Punch and Forbidden Runtz are doing better they are catching up.. They just got fed, LST and I did some defoliation.

She’s tripled in size and doesn't seems to have stopped stretching yet. I had to zoom my camera out to get her photo. Moved lights up again and she’s back to being 6” under. Up they go again. Lots of nice pistils growing all over. She’s getting thirstier too, upped feeding to 2 litres a day to produce 10% run off (2 watering a day in total). I’m going to defoliate a bit this week. The last photo is of 4 of her clones, suppercropped in solo cups, growing at 90 degree angles 12/12 on a little shelf.

To preface this grow. This is my second run ever and my first run on Coco DWC using autopot system. My first run I ran a basic amended soil with no real target for soil ph set. Just simply organic compost and about 12% castings. I ran full manufacturer's dosing recommendations on city tap with high tds to start with. I had some serious nute issues late veg early flower. I suspect the issue was compounded due to ph swing, high ec, over watering and ph rise in soil due to infrequent watering, as well as ph rise in reservoirs from poor aeration and no beneficial microbes. That all being said I have new targets this run mainly consistenting of monitoring and targeting of PH and EC. I was at a bit of a loss in regard to the ph rise in my resevoir so with some research I have decided to try out TorusHydro perfect ph inline edition for my 25g dwc reservoir. I am running RO water made by my smallboy 150ro by Hydrologic. I have noticed some manufacturers recommend daily water changes for Coco nute solutions. I am going to attempt to do new water as infrequently as I think is acceptable as reflected by total ec in my feed water. I am using week one solution target EC of 0.5-0.7 and PH 5.5-5.7 for germinating. I added some bonus photo's of a homemade grow room I constructed.

01/19/2022 Stretch is starting, watering till 5-10% Runoff. I will be giving some molasses 2 tbls to 2 gallons water to feed the microbial life in my soil. This should help nutrient uptake from roots, feeding her flowers with microbial chelated nutrients. Changing to 12-12 tomorrow at lights on. Which will continue through flowering week 8, week 9- harvest will go to 11-13 for the fantastic finish! Getting rid of the dark green male he is not adjusting to drought (lack of water) as well as lighter green male. Lighter green can go twice as long without water with no sign at wilting

First week of florwering is over. They all already show pistills so induction was successful. I did a little defoliation to uncover bud sites and LST-d Strawberry Cough since it was much higher than the rest of the ladies. Now I do have even-ish canopy. CA$H and Mimozz are going superb. Cough is okay, not great, not bad. Grandpa's Cookies is a runt but I'll try to have at least some weed from this one also 💪
