Update 1: Got some great advice in the comments about seedling care from @Frigault and decided to hold off on nutrients for next watering. I've read before that nutrients should be introduced as soon as a seedling is above ground but it does make sense to wait especially since I've fried a seedling before (a full grown plant dose at that). The youngster hot a little taller on last check and her first set of real leaves are open. I didn't get around to soaking the Amnesia Auto yet. I knock that out tonight. Cana-Cheese is finally above ground so I've begun a 18/6 light schedule. She's looking pretty good too! I watered with a 1 teaspoon of CaliMagic and next I'll start with a super low dose of GH's trio with a low dose of Armor-Si. I'm a bit unsure if I need to let the Armor-Si sit for a while after adding like I've seen done with the powder so I think I'll play it safe and wait unless I find out otherwise. Also, I'm a bit afraid of her stretching so I'll lower the lights a few inches to see what happens. A moment of silence for Dark Devil Auto. After a 24hr soak, the seed never popped (with the cute little root that sometimes looks like a goldfish tail). Just floated like her sisters did up to plant heaven. I'm torn between taking a chance with my last one or trying a different strain. I did manage to get a Banana Blaze all the way to flower until she bit the dust. Going by advice gone bad, I fed her too high a dose of nutrients and she never recovered. When they say "listen to your plant", do it. Lesson learned.

Week 4 - It’s Friday again, and that means it's update day! Another week has passed, and as usual, there's plenty to report. A lot has happened, and once again, I’m bringing you along on my journey as a total beginner in the world of growing. Every week is a new learning experience, and I’m excited to share what’s been going on in the tent as my Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies continue to grow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 43-55% -VPD: Max 1.4 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 25-26°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 20 hours light / 4 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) Watering Schedule: -Day 24: 1 liter -Day 26: 1 liter -Nutrients are applied with every watering Light Adjustments: -Light distance now at 50 cm -Intensity increased to level 10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Growth Update The most noticeable change this week has been the incredible growth of the plants. I’ve uploaded some new photos for everyone to see, and it’s amazing how much they’ve shot up compared to last week. The differences in growth behavior between the Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies are becoming even more pronounced. The Amnesia Zkittlez has more than doubled in height since last week, shooting up and stretching outward. Meanwhile, the Gorilla Cookies hasn’t grown as much in height, but it has become noticeably rounder and bushier, almost like a pufferfish. It's fascinating to watch these plants develop in such different ways. While the Zkittlez focuses on vertical growth, the Gorilla Cookies is spreading out horizontally, forming a dense, compact structure. All around the plant, small flower sites are emerging, extending from within the plant and beginning to take shape. This difference in growth styles really highlights the unique characteristics of each strain, and I’m excited to see how they continue to evolve. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training: LST and Defoliation This week, I’ve also focused heavily on training the plants using Low-Stress Training (LST) and some selective defoliation to optimize light exposure and encourage better growth. I applied LST more aggressively over the past few days, using clips to gently bend the stems of individual branches outward, almost to a 90-degree angle. This technique has helped the plants spread out horizontally, allowing more light to reach the inner and lower branches. I’ve been adjusting the clips nearly every day to refine the structure and ensure that the light penetrates deeper into the canopy. The goal is to encourage outward growth and create more space for the lower branches to thrive. In addition to LST, I began selectively removing leaves. I started with the first set of fan leaves, followed by leaves growing inward toward the plant’s center. These were either shading promising bud sites or simply not contributing to the plant’s energy needs. I’ve also removed the lower bud sites, which likely wouldn’t have developed into anything substantial. This way, the plants can focus their energy on the more promising, higher-up buds that are receiving better light. Throughout the defoliation process, I’ve been careful not to remove too many leaves at once. I’ve only taken off leaves that were either blocking key bud sites or were small and shaded, ensuring that the plant still has enough foliage to continue its healthy growth. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nutrients and Watering Routine There haven't been any changes in my nutrient schedule or the way I water the plants this week. I’m still using the same BioBizz nutrients at the recommended dosages with each watering, and the watering process itself remains unchanged. Each plant receives a consistent 1 liter of water every couple of days, and so far, the plants are responding well. However, based on some recommendations I’ve received, I’m planning to introduce CalMag from BioBizz into my watering routine over the course of the next week. This will help ensure that the plants have enough calcium and magnesium, which are essential for strong cell structure and nutrient uptake, especially as we move further into the flowering phase. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Reflections and Lessons Learned As I progress through this grow, I’m realizing how much more there is to learn, especially when it comes to managing light exposure and training techniques. It’s been rewarding to see how the plants respond to LST and defoliation, but I’m still figuring out the perfect balance. Every small change seems to make a big difference, and I’m constantly amazed by how quickly these plants adapt. Being a beginner, this process has been both challenging and exciting, and I can’t wait to see how the flowering stage develops. This journey has been a humbling experience, reminding me that growing plants isn’t just about following steps, but also about observing and learning from the plants themselves. Every day brings new insights and challenges, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see these changes reflected in the health and growth of the plants. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking Ahead In the next week, I’ll continue to monitor the pre-flowering phase closely. I expect the water and nutrient demands to increase even more as the plants transition into full flowering, so I’m preparing to increase the watering amount to 1.2 liters per plant soon. I’ll also be keeping an eye on the structure of the plants, especially the differences between the Gorilla Cookies and Amnesia Zkittlez. I may begin defoliating some of the lower leaves to give the plants more room to breathe and allow light to penetrate deeper into the canopy. There’s a lot of excitement ahead as the flowering phase approaches, and I’m eager to see how the plants respond to these new stages of growth. This plant has recovered from nutrient deficiency and is growing great. Doing lst everyday and plant is responding great. This is going to be a big girl. Still no signs of flower. The other NL from growers choice I grew took forever to flower also. Monday update - did a little defoliation. Looks a little thin. Should get fuller in a few days

A step back recently: Started a final flush (2 days in), and decided to start feeding her again - thanks to some great GD input! 250 ppm at re-start and will work my way to 500ppm? She's still rockin' along - like nothing happened. She topped out at 350 ppm without tanking PH, so she is stable here. PH is now swinging down fairly quickly last 12 hours. Drained off 1/3 of reservoir and get reservoir down to 250PPM. 5 days later, major PH swings down again. Mixed another fresh reservoir. I am using Zero Water 5 gallon system, and just realized the PPM coming out was 100, and PH at 3! If I am at 100 today, that means these filters have been shot for a while, maybe since start of my PH issue. There is also interesting information about when zero water filters reach their expectancy. They put out fishy smell and otherwise. I will be watching my filters more often and taking more notes since this ZeroWater 5 gal system is really the way to go if you are only growing a plant or two. Filters are a bit spendy but when you take time, gas, convenience etc. its a no brainer (if the water coming out is zero:) - I get about 15 gallons per filter (175ppm from tap). Day 70. It’s been about a day since new res change. Steady Eddie at 250 ppm and 6.2. I’ll let her drink the bucket down a good ways if things remain stable with a drift down. I doubt it though, 5 gallon is fine for 12” autos but at 2’ she really needed 8 gal. Time to up the R&D on the cabinet! Also checked Zero Water again and filter is now putting out 200ppm of 3.0 water. New filters installed! Hope she finishes soon, the top of her canopy slowly getting cooked over the last 10 days. 8" of light distance is too little. PPFD 2000+ at the top, but leaf temps are in the upper 70's. Gotta hit a decent DLI on these lower buds - without nuking the top nugs, right?! As the week concludes, she’s in a fresh bath, at 250ppm @ 6.0 and running stable again. New water filters installed so zero water variable removed. Last serving of half+ teaspoon of GH dry KB ripening, and will reduce ppm by 25/day until I reach 10-15%. 1-2 day flush, if at all.

EMERALD TRIANGLE SEEDS CANDYLAND Genetics - Grandaddy Purple x Platinum Girl Scout Cookies Indica / Sativa - 30% / 70% Harvest late Sept/early Oct Ratio - CBD 1% – THC 22% Flavor - Earthy, Sweet Good for - ADHD, Appetite stimulation, Bipolar, Chronic pain, Insomnia, Migraine, Relaxation Very nice strain from ETS.. Very simple throughout grow and didn't require loads of food.. Harvested around the 8th week of bloom, almost looks like 2 different phenotypes but they taste and last exactly the same.. The sativa looking clone ended up having lock-out on last few weeks when i tried to push them to far.. All in all a very pleasant smoke with sweet creamy tones which gives a nice tickle on the throat on the exhale.. Not my best yeilder but I'm positive if i ran her again i could improve.. Very sticky,pretty dense flowers which grind up nice and fluffy.. I found a pre-seed a few weeks bk now (cant remember the week, but logged it), but the wife nor myself have found anymore and we've got through a bit already so that is great for us.. My 1st photoperiodic strain from Emerald Triangle Seeds and im extremely pleased with the results..

Ma per espansione del verde e altezza sembra di essere settimane indietro. Detto questo la struttura e comunque buona è molto simile alle altre, sicuramente saranno fenotipi selezionati, con internodi ben predisposti e non troppo distanziati. Inserite le clip anche qui ma non ho ancora le foto, le posterò la settimana successiva.

10 weeks from seed to harvest. The nutrient line I was using didn’t give me optimal growth, for this strain and my level of experience. Had some great growth and veg time, about 4 weeks, but when flower kicked in they got beastly. I would say I had two different phenos of this strain, and the one pheno that is unique, had slightly looser buds than the other two. This could be because of the LST/super cropping of the main cola. The other two had nice rock hard frosty buds and have similar smells and profile. The other one has more citrus, and was a bit lanky, more sativa in looks. Overall, easy enough to grow, no major surprises, and decent enough yield for 10 weeks. This is a strain that could have been better had I not had some issues with either lockout/deficiencies.

What we’re seeing now is the result of early structure + stable environment + precise feeding. And also… one lesson plant that deserves respect. ⸻ ⚠️ The Overwater Plant — A Necessary Decision This week, we made a call. Not emotional — responsible. One plant, previously pushed through intentional overwatering conditions, did not recover. Root zone remained compromised, oxygen exchange was limited, and overall plant vitality continued declining. What we observed: • Persistent droop and lack of turgor recovery • Slowed or stalled bud development • Increased risk profile (humidity pockets, potential for rot/microbial issues) At this stage in flower, the plant wasn’t just underperforming — she was becoming a liability to the room. So the decision was made: ✂️ Harvest early, remove risk, protect the ecosystem. Yield was minimal — but that was never the point. This plant served as a living case study. 💡 Key takeaway for the community: Overwatering is not about “too much water” — it’s about lack of oxygen in the root zone. Once that balance is lost for too long, recovery becomes unlikely. Respect to her. She taught more than she produced. ⸻ 🌱 The Rest of the Garden — Absolute Explosion Now… the contrast. The remaining plants are doing the exact opposite. This was my first cycle in tent. The Autopot System is amazing ang brings autonomy. I used fert Plantprod, calcium nitrate, magnesium sulfate and MKP. PH around 6.0 and solution fert in tank 1200 PPM . This strain is fantastic. It withstood the intense heat of the southern hemisphere's tropical climate. It was easy to prune and defoliate to control the size. The smell is of tangerine and flowers produces a lot of resin. I am very satisfied with this harvest! Thank you Sweet-seeds!!

This week it’s finally clear that the plants have entered flowering. The buds are still small for now, but there are quite a lot of them already 🌸✨ The weather has been stable, which is great. It’s already quite humid in the mornings, but the wind dries everything out nicely, so I’m not too worried about excessive humidity for now. This week I also did some defoliation on the lower branches and removed some of the lower leaves. At the same time, I’m gradually thinning out some of the leaves that are shading the buds and blocking light 🌿✂️☀️ I started feeding them with Plagron Alga Bloom, Sugar Royal and Power Buds 🌿💧 Tonight I’ll also do the final spray with Polyversum Biogarden, a biological product used as a preventive treatment against fungal diseases 🌿💨 My plan from here is to water according to the weather, but otherwise roughly every 2–3 days. I don’t want to overwater them unnecessarily 💧🌱 I’ve also added a weather forecast for the next few days — temperature-wise, everything is looking great so far ☀️🌡️ The second chart shows the amount of sunshine 🌞

Pues este ha sido el proceso desde nacer hasta ya casi cosecvha, creo estar dandoles esta semana y la proxima para quitarlkes el agua y darles 48 horas de oscuridad y finalmente el corte mayor para el disfrute de las cosecha. ersta vez utilice un producto que si no me equivoco es de fox farm para engordar las flores y me resulto muy bueno, este cultivo quise irme limpio lo mayor posible para observar resultados. Me agradan pero siermpre es bueno hacer uso de algunso buenos nutrientes deacuerdo a la etapa que esten, como se vean, lo que identificquemos en cada una de ellas. Es toy muy contento por que el olor es fuerte, tengo toda la casa olorosa, el olor es frutoso, como a Starburst de cherry, muchos terpenos como pueden ver, y de solo tocarlas un poco waooo! la habitacion se explota en esa fragancioa, creeanme que la experriencia es del mas halla. Con esto los dejo amigos, grascias por toooodas esas buenas vibras. una barazo fuerte hermanos, BUENOS HUMOS!

I gave the lady's a litle haircut at the start of the week, and started using Bud ignitor on the Canna feed Cherry's to speed things up a bit😉 I also Switched the lady's to 12/12 on the 10th of november. Rock on Growmies 🌱

And the time to flip this Mama came and with it so did the defoliation one, she did fell amazing the canopy, i am supper, i mean supper happy with the way she is growing, how fast and vigorous, how green and full of leafs, i mean not now lol now she as almost no leafs since i took the most of them out lol but i believe they will be back is less than a week or so and that this lady will ask for a new Mass defoliation sooner than i think, lets see lol !!! I know that for many of you it will look like i killed and destroyed my plant , but trust me wen i say that she will love it and respond with her love back to me, shinning like never before <3 <3 <3 Started my Bud booster and also started hading P to my water mix, its time to supplement some extra love hehe not that the pellets could not do the job by them selfs , but in this faze i believe they appreciate the extra care and love !!! Looks like they've recovered from the topping and transplant last week and are beginning to grow new nodes with haste! I'll start with a light 1/4 strength dose of veg nutes once the new growth gets to 3 nodes (at 1.5 nodes now).
