Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! Our journey is slowly coming to an end. Both Gelatos have developed well, and I'm looking forward to testing them soon. The smell in the box is mind blowing 💚💚💚.

Today is day 51 of flower and the top bud site calyxes are already showing a good amount of amber on the trichomes. Maybe being stunted in seedling phase caused some change in the plants growth hormones. Who knows? I’m still gonna give her at least a week until I chop her. Gonna have to start checking overall plant trichomes nightly though just so I can get a feel for the plants overall maturity/ripeness level. So excited for this harvest. The plant smells like heavenly maple syrupy butter lol.

Rainbow Saltz is looking really strong, and it's definitely one of my bigger plants. The colors are so vibrant, and I love the unique look of it. Another great variety from lit Farms. I can't wait to see how it performs. Last week was awesome! I finally got around to giving all my plants a little upgrade – I repotted them into some bigger homes. They're all looking so happy and healthy now, it's crazy. I can't wait to see how much they grow this year!

Pleased with how this plant is doing. Lots of stretch this week and looks like she's still got more in her. Still been training the tops where i want them but the branches are getting stiff now so that's nearly it. The cooling fan on my grow light is really noisy and the loudest thing of my setup by far. So i have changed it for a much higher quality one and it's amazing! Night and day difference for noise and performance too! See before and after videos. I have a feeling i might run out of space in the middle with the 4 buds. Also that the outside ones are too close but we will see. Any comments welcome or suggestions. As i keep saying, all a learning process to get better each time. I am already planning my next grow which will either be do si dos auto or gorilla zkittlez auto both from Barney's Farm. Have a possible weeks fishing trip on 7th Aug. So has it not finished by then I will buy a water pump and set it on a timer. Gave her some preflower food and more mycorrhizae. She's stretching like crazy 🤣 I'm loving the smell all ready. Smelling lemon and fruits. Gave her some low stress training and at the end of the week.

This week brought a mix of progress and a little drama. On Day 30, the Do-Si-Dos Auto was top-dressed with worm castings, Stonington Plant Food, and fish bone meal, then watered with a Big Bud nutrient solution (2 ml/L). She responded well and showed continued healthy growth. On Day 32, a surprising discovery: the main stem had snapped during earlier LST without being noticed, effectively topping the plant. The damage was clean and the plant adjusted quickly, redirecting growth to surrounding branches. LST ties were released temporarily to reduce stress, and leaves were tucked to expose new growth. Light LST resumed later in the week to maintain an even canopy. Humidity ranged from 53–65% and temps hovered between 75–81°F. Lighting was gradually increased to nearly 75% over the course of the week, with the light height raised to 21" above the canopy after redesigning the desk setup. The plant was placed onto a new auto-watering base, raising the pot height and improving drainage and airflow. No Cal-Mag was applied this week, but a Cal-Mag watering is planned for early Week 6.

I still have to wait for about 8 weeks, I believe in the open air ... they already have a smell of fruit and forest ... with one of them has nutrients from the biobizz tripack ... because it had a lack of nutrients ... a measure 40 cm and the ptra is around 1.70 ... waiting for the fattening of buds

Good day to every one. The plant feeling like it should be, flowering without any problem. I really like the genetic. Hope to finish within 2 weeks. Look at these beautiful and long inflorescences, which are covered with crystals every day and pull their antennae to the sides. trichomes change color. The aroma is tolerable and I am not using the filter yet.

Hello This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. Will be flushing for the next 2 weeks. They got their last nutrient feeding... It will be just ph adjusted tap water from here to the end. I can't figure out why 2 plants leaves are turning yellow, If it was heat stress they should all look the same Plant #2 has more yellow leaves than Plant #1 has some and Plant #3 hardly has any yellow leaves. They've all got the same treatment. They all got a big spoonful of Cal-Mag powder 1/2 way through flowering. Called Wollammo.com Maybe plant #2 is finishing earlier than the rest... I'll check the resin for amber crystals when I'm done... The buds are dense but not quite rock hard. The secondary buds are dense too. I hope they get denser in the last 2 weeks. Nice smells with the squeeze the bud and smell your fingers test. My wife said... when she smell my fingers... "Mmm... Delicious" Smells similar to the Dos Si Dos 33 a sweet musky desert smell, it also has hints of wood too. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Overall I enjoyed this grow and learned a lot about living soil. Going for a slow dry, trim, then at least a one month cure. Hopefully another six days and I’ll update with a dry yield. My next batch is already cooking but with 5 gallon pots. 03/25 - Day 7 Drying B & C are done drying and have been in jars for a day now with RH ~60%. Total 3oz from B & C. Total 1.5oz from A & D
