Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music video's 5th March 2020 Flowering Begins ....................................... My little creation is officially Flowering folks!! After stretching upwards about 30cm all tips are developing little Budlets. I started to see minor signs of Nitrogen deficiency from a coupleof bottom leaves that suddenly began to yellow. This is fairly normal as the plant would have needed as much (nitrogen) as it could get doing all that stretching. I needed to feed half strength grow nutes ( professors nutrients) @1ml/L three times during the last 7 days. Now that the stretch seems to have slowed right down I will start to add some Dr Greenthumbs Bud n Bloom mix ( aprox qtr of a cup). I'll also keep using LST to allow as much light to penetrate as possible. 👍 **** Now for the Weekly Australian Music Videos *** Last week I posted Links to songs from the Artist Paul Kelly , they were Sleep Australia Sleep and Dumb Things. Started training the plant. Trying to spread out the branches so they all are level and evenly getting light. Going to need to do some defoliation in the next week. Really happy with how this is turning out. Growing well and looking very healthy. Green in the leaves has darkened well too after giving the tea to fix the N deficiency.

Wow she over doubled her height and grew 53cm this week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm kinda liking these genetics.......

day 15: flowers start to appear day 16-17: temps go 24 celcius, i throw ice bottles in the res day 25: insane stretch stops flowers fatten up, even crystals around the young budz.

They are all showing sex and doing really well. Hoping with what we learned in our first grow that these three ladies end up with nice big firm buds. Based on their structure thus far I think these ladies have real promise.

Okay, started to give her Final Part, EC 2.6 and Ph 6.0 In 2.5 weeks is harvest time Top Bud smell very Lemon and are Rock hard

Overall i'm really happy with this strain. First i thought i wouldn't get a high yield but i'm pretty happy with it i got 250grams of top trimmed buds 2g of hashoil 2g of bubblehash and another 80grams of dry plant material for making bubblehash. Super potent strain with an amazing flavour, definitely nit the last time growing this strain.

NL topped will be a monster...did not defoliate yet...lost one of the 4 main colas (broken) but seems to get extremely bushy anyway...nutrients mainly from TA as shown above NL untopped (coco with aptus) seems to be extremely healthy and develops monster leaves...yesterday removed appr 10 leaves for more ventilation. For untopped didnt change the nutriens yet...still this Aptus all in one 1 ml/l Aptus regulartor 3 drops/l Aptus start booster 4 drops/l Aptus callmag booster 1 ml/l I have to water with the nutrients everyday, 2 litre...each plant...keeping the ec low at 1,2 - 1,3...means the basic water should not have more than 0,3 better 0,2...means I have to use destilled water partially Next week will be some in nutrients...blooming is coming especially the topped NL...untopped maybe later...

It was a longer road until here. With all the reading I did I still made rookie mistakes. To much nutrients and to much light stunt my plant and created some deficiencies ( CaMg). Hopefully I will do ok from now on.... Lifted the light at 3 feet on 100% power and decreased the PPM’s to 600. Hopefully that will help and I did not create to much damage. Wish me luck. I invested a lot of time and money on this grow but the experience is not there yet. I’m ok with what it is, I’ve learned a lot from this grow.

It's officially week 4 of veg. What a ride! These ladies DO NOT give up and neither did i. Second grow, it is a learning curve. With all the growth stunned, i am a bit impatient. BUT the good news is the smallest have starting growing again. Anyways... 👽👉19/9 New automation program for this week. (See pictures for app screenshots for automation and datalogger) Temps - 21night/29day RH% - 60RH night / 68RH day My plan is to decrease the humidity at night, to increase the vpd. The same goes for my light output and nutrients. Changing the variables gradually over time. 👽👉20/9 I topped two more plants. The growth is gradually getting better. They should be ready for their first real feed tomorrow. (Only top fed them last watering) 👽👉21/9 ** First real feed. -They reacted well to a last lose dose top feeding, so this time i will give them a full feed, but same low dose. -Programmed new automation based on VPD Graf (see pictures) Set to 1.0 VPD. // Inkbird app, i am adjusting the RH% to the temp in the tent. -Did some experimental LST on one of the smaller ones. Dont have a co2 meter, but have co2 bag. But it has not been added as a variable to the climate calculations. 👽👉22/9 The new automation program has proven efficient and working(for now). Now its interesting to see the plants adapting the constant VPD. 👽👉23/9 Did some more LST work to keep the tallest ladies at level. 👽👉24/9 Visiting the ladies and checking up on the lst work. Tucking in leaves, plotting my next move. *Water day. they shared 5 Liter, where the bigger ones got more. PH 6.4 - EC 1.52 (Last water was PH 6.4 - EC 1.37) 1.5ml/L Bio heaven+Bio fish. (Next time they will get 2ml/L) 👽👉25/9 Turned up the lights from 75% to 100%. Temps are about to rise higher. might as well let the ladies get used to it.

This week has been pretty good. Humidifier died on Sunday, picked up a new one and the temp rose to 79. Plant wilted for the first 8 hours or so and then settled into her new environment. She is sitting in a RDWC with a Liberty Haze that needed to get more nutes, so I bumped the nutes up to 600 ppm. She hasn’t missed a beat. So far this strain hasn’t given me any problems whatsoever. Knock on wood it stays that way! Slight smell coming off of her, no particular notes, just a plant smell. 4 nodes in and the 5th is sprouting. I’ll be topping and training soon!

Oh yeah!!!! Apple Strudel is finishing strong 💪. Her buds have swollen up nicely, are a beautiful lime green & super frosty. She smells really potent! Started to flush her a couple days ago so she'll be getting the chop here in a few days. Excited to see how she taste after a dry & cure.
