Fun time with this gal overall! Definitely going to go for a proper run of BanDad, not 12/12 from seed - next. Didn't yield much individually, but between all 4 plants it added up to be a decent bit. Already got another BanDad in my veg tent at about week 5!

Surf Purp Week 6 Flower The last week before flush. All nutrients apart from PK and sugars have been stopped. This brought the ppm/EC down, plus Remo Bloom was reduced slightly now they're not so hungry. With that being said I'm still using a lot more with this line than I'm used to. Only because the remo nutrients feeding chart lists them so strong, which I'm already a lot lower than. In future I'll try reducing them and see how they cope and perform, but that's just part of dialing it in to your own specific set up. Now that they're close to flush they're starting to get slightly more pale, with #2 and #4 showing some purpling too. This is because they are slowly coming to the end of their cycle, so they no longer need heavy feedings and are now eating less and beginning to cannibilise. They're all very frosty and giving off an insane amount of smell. At this point I'm more or less certain that #4 is a keeper, with the most unique terpene profile out of the 4 females. It smells like rotting candy/fruit with a lot of gas ⛽ it's also a close call between #1&2, as they're very similar to each other yet so different to #4. These two have the sweetest, most pungent smell of blueberries but with very slight differences between them that could change more throughout flush (and even after drying and curing). The keeper from these two will more than likely be decided after drying and curing. One or two of the main cola's on #4 are way too close to the light, with one top bud showing clear signs of burning. When you look closely, parts of the burns are brown as you would expect, and others are bleached white. These are both from heat and light damage, and aren't ideal. But, it's only the one bud on one plant so I'm not going to stress over it. In fact, she's smelling that incredible that you wouldn't even know! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊

WEEK 1 FLOWERING Since I will use the 7 weeks AN full nutrients program, one week is only 5 days Keep doing LST and defoliation every day or two I am using 100% RO water and give water every morning with nutrients included 🌱

Alrighty guys, Day 35ish check the ladies out! Dam! They starting to pack on weight! The main stem is thick as my pinky finger but they are currently short plants. Hoping they will stretch as they develop through the flower phase. Also added fabric pot risers to promote airflow under the pots to help even out the pot drying patterns. Note: I have now learned that my original formula used for the pre soil mix with organic amendments was a bit too hot. I do see dark green leaves with clawing only on one plant. I'm going to dial back the premix to 2-3tbs/gal of media @50/50 mix of the 284 and 444, rather than 4tbs. I may even push for 2tbs and add regular light feeding of calmag for the next grow to help with the heavy coco coir mix soil from promix hgcc line. Lesson learnt, so let's keep pushing hard to get these ladies finished! Also I picked up a bottle of beneficial enzymes to help with root rot for the one droopy plants, however I'm going to apply it to all my plants just for the benefits of a strong root system into flowering. Week 1 flowering for the Banana Kush from super sativa seeds club. All good so far, we gave organic nutrients and some extra calmag with amino and some silica. We also continue with master root. Looking nice and green. Small little buds are starting to appear 🤗

3/23/25 - Today marks the start of week 2 of flower. I top-dressed the soil with Gaia Green 2-8-4 at 2 tablespoons per gallon of soil, Gaia Green 4-4-4 at 1 tablespoon per gallon, and worm castings at ½ cup per gallon. I watered with 1 liter of water, pH’d to 6.6, mixed with 1 tablespoon of fermented plant juice per gallon. Light is at 740 ppfd.Everything is looking good as the plants continue to transition into flower 3/25/25 - added water to the reservoirs today. PH'd to 6.5 3/29/25 - Filled the reservoirs because they were bone dry. Plain water PH'd to 6.2

Day 36 preflower stage, should see buds forming within the next several days or so. WE ARE AT WAR!!!! Applied a pouch of nematodes to every pot to kill the fungus gnat at its larval stage. Which has been gnawing on my roots! Increased the sticky traps to trap the flying f*<|{£rs. Will reapply more nematodes in 10 days to kill the next generation. Then hopefully that’ll be all! Don’t overwater folks. Fungus gnats suck! Hopefully last hiccup of the grow. Cheers everyone. Good luck on your grows. Day 41 and I’d say we’re officially in flower. Seein those hairs real good now. We’re still experiencing a rather annoying fungus gnat infestation which has really stunted these ladies. This is entirely my own doing by more than likely overwatering them, creating the problem. Sighs… lower stems grew considerably, which has me optimistic as to the potential yield. I won’t know till stretch is over to gauge my yield. Hopefully Fastbuds amazing genetics can help me fix my f up. 🤞 Day 45 and were on our second round of treatment with nematode packs. I have moved the grow lights up substantially as to hopefully help with the discoloration of my leaves. I believe it to be light stress from the lightening around the edges and some brown tips. Some of them are curled upwards so thst could also be nutrient burn. I have asked a question about it to hopefully get the help of someone more experienced than iam. Good luck growing my friends🍻 Day 48 I ripped open my nematodes packs and mixed in the first couple inches. The top few inches of soil are now aerated better. Hopefully things will improve. Seem to look better since I moved the light up. Stretch ladies… stretch watering at 6.0 to hopefully lower the ph of my girls. I could do the viniger method? Or sulfur. Comment and let me know how you lower the ph of your soil?

While we're not huge on autoflower plants, this one turned out really nice, not a huge yield, maybe just over an Oz dry but her bag appeal can't be beat.. we may actually grow this strain again but probably outdoors, our autos always seem to preform better in the garden. 01/27/2021 Flowering going well Flowering #2,#3,#6 #6 is a week ahead of#2,#3 will put others in on week 4 for a staggered harvesting 01/30/2022 watered with fungal tea and some aloe mixed in for amino acids and other goodness. Well see how she progresses in 4 days Also working on some banana peel tea to give a boost of potassium if I do next week it should be available for week 6-7. Ps. Fuzzy Mellon (bag seed male) I will pollinate one lucky branch on #6 as she is my favorite. But number 3(tall and lanky one) will get pollination of one branch as well. I can't wait to see how they recombine with fuzzy melon smell mixed with burnt rubber and model glue and pine. #2 no pollination (smaller one) #5 (bonsai) and #8 are males. So 3 female out of 8 seeds. Going to make some feminized seeds next time,so I'll have plenty of female's for a staggard harvest.
