I grew 4 specimens of original lemon pie from seed and over all I’m very happy with the strain and have mothered my favourite already. This strain is a keeper and I am happy I have found my go-to daytime sativa cut. She grows without effort and took training like a champ. Buds are dense and conical. She stretches a lot, triples her height, not bushy. Needs vertical space for a good sog and needs support. My buds were falling over from the weight. It’s called lemon pie and the smell is most definitely citrus and pastry. So sticky and sparkling. Some of the cultivars were a bit leafy. I grew 4 clones in solo cups and 3 plants mainlined for 4 colas. Saved my favourite cultivar as a mom and culled the rest. I will be happy to fill my medicine cabinet with original lemon pie.

Reviews. Nutrient
Perfect convenie
Base nutrients are very clean, complete and balanced. I don’t use sugars (liquid weight) in hydroponics and it exploded my fungus gnat population so stopped using it, I’m not sold on rezin making a difference but will keep trialing it and I hate using massive doses of the weak ass massive bloom solution so switching to the stronger formulated pk booster in the future.

Harvest report: The solo cup clones of OLP 1 were harvested whole at 8 weeks, only fan leaves stripped, hung to dry, will need to dry trim the sugar leaves. OLP 1 was wet trimmed by hand and individual branches hung to dry. OLP 2, OLP 3 and OLP 4 were harvested later because they were behind but I was short on patience and they were pretty leafy so we wet trimmed by bucking them immediately into the electric automatic trimmer and drying on mesh hanging racks. They still smell amazing and seems to be a decent yield. Had considered freezing for fresh frozen but wanted to try out this machine on wet. 40 minutes per plant from stalk to drying rack including clean up. Trim trim is in the freezer. Wet trim is drying in pizza boxes.

Do you prune the roots before repotting? Heard thats actually beneficial but actually never seen someone do it... Those are some nice Roots btw. 😸 Have a nice one Growmie.

I replanted the seedlings deeper into 500ml solo cups and increased the light intensity. They are being watered with GP3 nutrients schedule. Easy to use, clean, local brand. So far so good. Once they’ve spread their roots out wide should start to see some growth this week. Happy growing
