Day 42-49 (June 11th - June 18th) (Day 43) I need to work on my early veg times. Things are just too slow in the seedling stage. Next round I will use a coco/Destiny blend for the better aeration and lower EC. Even with my indoor plants. I notice plants started in coco root way faster. Not just with weed either. All plants seem to like it better. Coco is far superior to peat imo. (Day 44) I’m pruning off the lower branches on my rooted blackberry clone. It’s cool to see it’s weird reveged structure. Lots of the fan leaves have trichomes on them. (Day 45) Something really weird is happening to Grapefruit #3. The leaves are browning and starting to gnarl. It could be an insect of some sort as it’s the only plant looking like that. (Day 47) It just hailed super badly and the leaves on some of the plants are pretty damaged. In my neighboring town the hail caused multimillions in damage so we got lucky here. I’m going to spray some method 1 pps prevention spray today to help keep pests at bay. I will try to do it in overcast or shade. I’m seeing what looks like thrip damage but there is no way they can survive the cold nights here. Dog shit in my yard is attracting flies which then land on plants spreading god knows what. (Day 48) Autos are still really stunted. I wasn’t able to find out how big they will get so I will just wait and see. I would guess they’re in their flowering stretch because their growth is unusually fast right now. I will probably just end up with 6-10 inch ornamental plants for autos. Definitely should have started them around mid summer in coco then transplanted. Time is of the essence with autos it seems. (Day 49) Photoperiod plants are looking really happy but growth is stunted from the cold and lack of light. I was hoping for bigger plants by now. A lot of growth can happen in 2 weeks so we’ll see. I’m definitely not transplanting on the 21st but the sooner I do it the better. The bbb clones are struggling hard to root but I can see new growth on them starting to push out. My clones are taking a really long time to establish. Every plant here, I don’t care how stunted, must be flipped by July 15th.

Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! The week has passed quite normally, and our girl continues to delight us with her growth. She has already grown by a whole 10 cm, and her leaves have become even wider and greener thanks to the Xpert Nutrients fertilizers that we use with pleasure. However, we encountered some unpleasant situations related to Sensi Seeds. We reached out to them with an issue of seed germination, not only with Skunk but also with other strains from Sensi Seeds. We provided them with all the necessary information about the purchase, although the receipt was not saved due to various circumstances. But, to our great disappointment, Sensi Seeds denied us, citing the lack of a receipt. We provided them with the date and place of purchase, videos, and photos, but it was not enough. Honestly, we feel deep disappointment from Sensi Seeds' attitude. We were ready to immerse ourselves in the world of their genetics, knowing that many legendary strains were bred from their seeds. But now we are disappointed not only with the quality of their product but also with the lack of honesty and support. We no longer want to have anything to do with Sensi Seeds and will seek other ways to fulfill our dreams. People, please take a look at the photos and videos and share your opinion. Did I provide enough evidence to Sensi Seeds, or should I have provided a receipt as well? I believe that integrity should come first. Sensi Seeds, you have shown your lack of integrity. People, I appeal to you: no honest and self-respecting grower can stand aside. I ask each of you to voice your opinion.

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Find out that the plants are male and female. Balls right under the female butts. So, it's easy to get rid of the male parts haha

Been an amazing week! My ultimate favourite strain is lacking on her diamonds 💎 frosted for the world to see the star she is ☺️💚 honestly not has a flavour compete with this one! But they are all thriving! I will defoliate again in a week as I start overdrive and prepare for flush 2 weeks after! I’m literally proving all these nutrients we are told to buy are not necessary. I’m using Dutch pro as my base nutrients and used formulex and moonshine during veg and during bloom using rezin and will use overdrive and flawless finish to aid flush! I’ve been through all advance nutrients except the connoisseur base range! But all other products I’ve used and see no point!! But I’ll define that one day and do a back to back comparison! It’s always been my thing as I was searching for best methods and nutrients and how I’ve come so far with that nearly 4 years later and I’m where I wanted to be! Stay tuned there’s more to come!!

Week 5 there was a lot of sun I watered it completely every 3-4 days

Algo menos de W de lo que estaban pero al tratarse de una nueva luminaria con más umoles no creo que se me estresen mucho. Más adelante cuando ya estén floreciendo subiré al 100% 300W. Riego cada 3 dias , a final de semana 900ml / planta. Último dia de la quinta semana poda de bajos , añadido unos tutores y el esperado 😜CAMBIO DE FOTOPERIODO a 12/12h. 🙏

Changed Wednesday

Currently sitting at day 38 of flower. Forbidden Soda- Looks incredible, buds are a pinkish purple. Smell is a fruity tangerine Forbidden Dream pheno #1 - this pheno is the beat smelling and looking, started turning purple from the onset of flower, the smell is like grape soda mixed with sour patch kids. Forbidden Dream kush pheno: this was the pheno that I though hermied, it’s not possible that they were just calyxs building on the top buds. They never got bigger, didn’t release pollen, and some now have pistils thru them, but will see once harvest time. Very impressed with the forbidden Dream strain, as for the forbidden soda while it does look incredible , this was selected from 3 different 12/12 seeds where the other two were not good. The forbidden dream seems to have better phenotypes overall and buds are a lot denser..
