Batman = CBDurban / black bucket Robin = Afghan / white bucket After watching a tones of videos i finally decided to apply some prunning techniques. Day 40: I returned from a weekend, finding now (luckily) much slower height but an impressive bud growth. Nothing special to report except for I lowered lady #2’s lights a bit. She is now some visible cms behind her sister (who has 83 cm), and maybe that helps to compensate her (still very nice) growth. Gave them another round of fertilised water, still with some HPE, during day 40. I could see in timelapse video they immediately gained fuller leaf positions and some progress. But sadly, as it’s quite warm here, main blower kicked in often, ruining the video to be much too shaky to show. Day 42: Nothing special again. Slow height gain (84 cm), steady bud growth. Day 43: I noticed the lowest leaves getting a bit pale. While this is perfectly ok on one hand – not much light to collect there anyway –, I think I will increase fertiliser portion a bit next time they are thirsty. At the end 85 cm in tallest main bud. Day 44 concludes this week. Not much to report except for what was already said. Slow but steady growth, a tiny bit of yellowing on the very lowest leaves and thirst about 1 l/day. This week was very hot, but the last day brought some cooling. Would be nice to have a timelapse video again that does not look like camera Raspi had Parkinson’s (when main blower is active).

This week has gone well again really impressive the growth on this lady starting to shape up nicely no problems. The smell is slight but getting stronger each day. Very sour grapefruit peel springs to mind and some signs of trichomes other than that just keeping it nice and steady 👍🏼

Despite being absolutely crowded out by the behemoth Pineapple Express next door this earthy pungent beautiful plant isn’t taking any crap. Her colas from top to bottom are rock hard and text book. I can’t wait until we get a chance to actually see what is behind plant number one!

🌾 Week 14 – Lavado de raíces, defoliación final y recta final. Está semana 14 marca una etapa decisiva en este cultivo para la Dognabiscup. Entramos ya en la recta final, con las plantas muy próximas a su punto óptimo de maduración. Esta semana el enfoque está puesto en limpiar, ordenar y dejar que la planta termine su ciclo de forma natural. Se ha iniciado el lavado de raíces de manera progresiva para eliminar restos de sales y nutrientes acumulados en el sustrato, favoreciendo una maduración más limpia, mejor expresión de terpenos y un perfil final más puro. 🌿 Defoliación ligera y selectiva Durante esta semana también se ha realizado una pequeña defoliación estratégica, muy controlada y sin excesos. El objetivo no ha sido forzar la planta, sino: Eliminar hojas grandes que ya no aportaban fotosíntesis eficiente. Mejorar la penetración de luz en zonas medias y bajas Aumentar la ventilación entre cogollos, reduciendo riesgo de humedad. Facilitar el acceso visual para el seguimiento de tricomas. Esta defoliación se ha hecho respetando al máximo la estructura natural de cada planta, sin estrés ni podas agresivas, entendiendo que en esta fase la prioridad es madurar, no crecer. 🌿 Permanent Marker – Fotodependientes: Las Permanent Marker están mostrando un nivel de resina muy elevado, con tricomas bien desarrollados y una transición clara hacia estados lechosos, apareciendo ya los primeros ámbar en las flores superiores. Los pistilos están mayoritariamente oxidados y los cogollos se sienten firmes y compactos, señal de una floración bien llevada. Tras el lavado y la defoliación, la planta queda centrada únicamente en terminar la maduración de las flores, sin distracciones ni bloqueos nutricionales. 🌱 Jealousy Diesel – Autoflower: Las Jealousy Diesel siguen su propio ritmo, algo más pausado, pero con un desarrollo muy equilibrado. El engorde final continúa y la producción de resina es evidente. Aunque aún necesitan algo más de tiempo que las fotodependientes, responden muy bien tanto al lavado como a la defoliación ligera, manteniéndose sanas y estables. Aquí la clave está siendo respetar el tempo de la genética, sin apresurar el final. 🔬 Control técnico de la semana: • Lavado de raíces progresivo. • Defoliación ligera y selectiva. • Ambiente estable sin cambios bruscos. • Temperatura y humedad controladas. • Sin signos de estrés ni carencias. • Prioridad total a maduración y calidad. 📆 Estado actual: Tricomas mayoritariamente lechosos, con aparición de ámbar. Pistilos en fase avanzada de oxidación. Flores densas y bien formadas. Producción de resina muy marcada. Aunque el cultivo está ya muy avanzado, todavía se sigue observando evolución diaria, especialmente en tricomas y aroma, por lo que el plan es acompañar estos últimos días con paciencia y precisión. 🎯 Próximo paso: La siguiente semana será clave para: -Evaluar tricomas con lupa/macro. -Decidir el momento exacto de corte. Todo el trabajo, el amor, la pasión y la constancia por fin terminan de dar sus frutos 😍. Los terpenos están siendo impresionantes, dulces, cítricos, empalagosos, potentes, muy difícil de describir. Tengo ya muchísimas ganas de cosecharlas ✨❤️.

D43 - At the beginning of the second week of flower and the girls are loving life. Overall, I'm happy with the flat canopy, but there's one branch higher than the rest on the first girl. I've never super-cropped an auto, so I figured, why not give it a go and see what happens? It's only one branch after all and we still have weeks of flower to go. I also lightly defoliated the girls further. Nothing extreme, just cleaning up here and there. I've been lazy and haven't brewed any compost tea in a while, so I hand-watered the girls with 1.25-liters of water @ pH 6.3 with 25 ml EM-1 to boost the microbes in the soil. I'll brew some tea in a few days and feed the girls then. D45 - Minor LST. The first girl is bouncing back nicely from her super cropping. D46 - I started brewing a compost tea last night using a pretty basic recipe of worm-castings, rock dust, kelp meal, and molasses. Today each girl got 1.25-liters of tea @ pH 6.5. I set up automation to control the RH in the tent using an Inkbird controller a while ago, where the humidifier and the extraction fan are hooked up to the controller. If the RH goes above the set value, then the fan kicks in to extract the humid air, while if the RH goes below, then the humidifier starts. With a stable temperature, it works like a ghetto VPD controller where the tent is in the ideal VPD range during the 20 hours of light but still in an acceptable range during the dark hours. Controlling the environment is always a headache in a tiny tent, but this system works exceptionally well, considering it is cheap and basic. D49 - We have reached the end of the second week of flower and everything is going great in the tent. The grow is pretty much running itself now that most training is done and the watering system takes care of the irrigation. I'm still dialing in the system though.

10/3/2022 is officially 1 week from germination. All three plants are looking good so far. The Orange Bubblegum continues to lag the other two, but it's growing. I just watered 1 liter per plant on 10/2 and the pots are still heavy, so all I've been doing is a slight misting to keep the top soil moist. Waiting for my barley straw to show up, so I can start building a mulch layer. On 10/4/2022 the top of the soil was dry about 1 to 2 inches deep, so I watered about 1 liter across all three plants, so about 1/3 liter per plant. The bags were still fairly heavy, so this was mainly to keep the top soul moist. I've always used bottle nutrients with a dry down period, but from what I've researched, you want to keep the living soil lightly moist. I'm a bit skeptical so we will see how it goes. Using very little water in these early stages to avoid suffocating the roots (hopefully 🤞). On 10/6/2022 the pots started getting lite, so I did a full water of 1 liter per pot, using ThermX 70 and Fish Shit. Everything still looks healthy. On 10/8/2022 I added my barley straw as a mulch layer. Also, add a little less than 1/4 cup ground gnarly barley from Build-a-soil, with some worm castings as a top dress. Lightly watered to moisten the straw and top dress. Hoping the straw will slow the drying of the top inch or two of soil and prevent the light misting I've been doing. Avg. VPD: .8 PPFD: 300 DLI: 20

With that being said, this girl is doing great.She's in a small pot and she is doing big things! Awesome genetics, just like the first go around... Day 71 I didn't label the plants so I don't know which is Sheryl or Candace anymore. I'm also not sure what I did different to have such varying results. One is thick, the other is not worth trimming. Based on camera zoom photos it looks like we're at 10% amber trichomes, which means it's likely the last week. Lesson: Label each plant, take better notes. I bottom watered 6.5ph 1tsp of Terp Tea Bloom in 15oz each. Possibly the last watering. I ordered a digital microscope so I can be sure on the trichomes. Day 72 Microscope came in. It's not great but it was $15 so... anyhow I could see that the chunky girl is ready with high amber trich count (30%) upper plant and about 10% in the lower buds. I put her in dark and will chop tomorrow. The skinny girl that pissed me off last week has about 5% amber trichomes so she got fed and watered. Additionally, she stacked up and put on some weight. Nothing too crazy but it's noticeable. I'll give her another week or two. By the time the chunky plant is done drying (HerbsNOW dryer) and in a jar, the skinny plant won't be skinny anymore and she'll be ready to come down.

Muy ansioso con este proyecto, mi primer cultivo s.o.g gracias a royalqueenseeds. 48 hrs en papel húmedo dentro de un pote hermético y luego 24 hrs en sustrato a luz apagada antes de comenzar con el fotoperiodo de vegetación. El sustrato es lightmix y solo añadi micorrizas granulares . Veremos como resulta este proyecto 💪✌️🍀

Unfortunately, the plants have numerous leaves which look unhealthy (discolored, droopy, crispy/decayed). I removed the 3-4 worst looking leaves from each plant every other day, although I know that can be harmful to autos. Started adding in "Sensi Cal" this week to hopefully rebound from potential mineral deficiencies. Still using Recharge microbes once a week. Nutrients are now being administered accurately and at 1/4 the recommended level. Despite the unhealthy state of the plants, the pre-flowering bud sites look pretty good to me. I'm happy to see healthy looking pistils. Needless to say, I'm very eager to get these girls back on track and looking vibrant and verdant ASAP.
