At the start of week 9 The end of the feeding schedule for two out of the three ladies for "Cath" & "Lorna" 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water only, for the remaining amount of time ripening up. "Anna-Marie" is still on the normal feeding schedule as she's several weeks behind the other two so fed her 13mls of Bio Flores and 20 mls of Bio Boost diluted in 5 litres of dechlorinated tap water. Chopped off a couple of LARFY branches to sample. I then gave them a quick couple of days speed dry in front of the fire 🔥 😅 Yes I know they need to cure but temptation be dammed, needs must lol 😆

8/5 My previously gorgeous 7ft GDP was sick as fuck. LAST FED 8/6 DIDN'T USE TIGER BLOOM AS IT WAS CHUNKY AND OUTDATED. 8/6 Lost my first plant in four years. Huge grand daddy purple (7FT super bushy) seemed to have root rot or was rootbound. Some of it smelled musty and was brown but I think the stalk got detached from the main rootball. Spider webbed roots all over the bottom of the pot so it looked root bound too but the dirt was loose. I took some pictures but I'm home so it's taking forever to upload. I took a quick video too. I have much more space now so maybe it will end up helping in the long run flowering. At least with airflow. That one plant was a lot of my canopy. Fucking sucks to have to pull out your biggest plant. I needed to see if earwigs were in the soil though. I've been getting insect damage. Didnt find any. Just like last year they lollipop the fucking branches and eat the newly developing shoots and flowers. Also another hundred degree day with super humidity. My other girls seem to be doing well though despite the harsh environment. Last I checked soil ph is back in range. 8/8 Raining today. Plants were super dry and I didn't have time before my wife's doctor's appointment so i wayered with the hoyse lightly. Its only a tad alkaline. I wonder if i can ph a bunch of water andcstore it in buckets or barrels? Ill have to research. WPM doesn't seem as bad but I'm sure it will rear it's ugly head again soon enough. I'll need to do a treatment soon. My blueberry plant in the tote seems like the stalk is breaking away from the root ball like it did on that huge GDP. the plant looks healthy though. Other than some earwig damage on lower branches that will probably be clipped. Flower has started. I tied it to a stake to put it upright but I'm worried about the winds without my tarp. People talked me into taking my back tarp down and I think that's what finally killed the plant. Roots weren't attached and the soil wasn't compact despite the spiderwebbed roots all on the bottom of the plant. The others are doing pretty good considering the circumstances. 8/10 Rained two days in a row. Took a bunch of pictures but they wouldn't upload. Didnt swfoliate today. Plants are actually looking pretty good despite the horrible season we've had. In the 60's today. Thirty degree temperature swing and that's just during the day. Will update more later. Oh and I spoke with a local commercial grower who grows both indoor and out commercially and owns a dispensary. Farm to table. Someone u respect greatly take a look at the pictures/video I have and with our previous conversations and what he saw he said "If you want my honest opinion you did nothing wrong. You have the same strain in smaller containers doing fine so it's not genetics. The plant was rootbound when you got it and you could've even put it in a 100gal and the sane thing would've happened. It was just shooting so many roots our instead of circling because it had been rootbound and was so large. It wouldve happened with that plant regardless. I would chalk this up to nature. You haven't lost plant in four years right?" I nod. "Any seasoned or commercial grower would honestly look at you and be like one plant in four years and your bitching? Cone on man." We went over a bunch if stuff I couldn't upload here and the actual site. It was good to hear this compliment from a commercial grower. I mean he's on another level. He does three outdoor harvests a year here with light dep and has an indoor grow facility and dispensary as well. I'm really lucky to have these types of resources. If you see this shout out to you man! 8/11 Rained last night. Overcast today. Plants liked the rain. Other than some of the leaves that look like they might have septoria the plants seem to be doing good. Especially with the humidity and the varying temperature. With the loss of my biggest plant I think I have room to move some plants. I always plant t I close to the fence. I could move the GDP in front back and move the blueberry in the tote and add a vertical trellis for support. On a positive note I'll have more room to work and I'll have better air flow. As soon as I have a night without rain or a day without showers I'll do another treatment of organocide. I'm also going to start beastie bloom soon. I don't have open sesame and i dont want to buy it. Its the only one i dont have. Still random damage here and there. I've seen several Japanese beetles too. I'm glad I found them. It was on the top of a plant. If it did its thing it would've looked like cigarette burned wall the way through a bud.

June 9, 2024 Day 50 This week we upgrade the nutrient schedule and adjust the DLI. The environment will continue to be a mess as I have no control over it. Shame that. Sour Diesel A is light. She's taking in around the same amount of water as everyone else, but her container is light. She got a full gallon of the new nutrients. Hopefully she starts taking in some weight. If not, I may have to top feed her a half gallon dose of Recharge. She's around 23" tall now. Sour Diesel B is officially the shortest plant of the group. Who knew. Lol. She got a riser to bring her up to the rest of the canopy. She's 21" tall. Sour Diesel C is the tallest of the bunch. She is a total of 26.5" tall and I feel like she still has a way to go. I think we have our winner. Maybe. She has immature buds, so I can't tell how big they will get, but B has the fattest buds by far. Sour Diesel D is looks great! She's around 24" tall now. Plenty of space for the buds to grow. And grow they will. The stacking is looking fantastic. She definitely won't be needing any top feeding for the rest of the run. The light was raised back up to 24" and the power was increased from 70% to 80%. The DLI is now roughly around 45 mol/m²/d. As for nutrients, I've increased all the doses up to 3 ml/gal. I've also added B-52, Tasty Terpenes, Silica Blast and Bud Factor X. This should definitely help with bud production and overall health of the plants. The environment remains a horrible mess. I don't know what to do. Still don't know and it doesn't seem to be improving. The humidity is at 62% and the temp is at 77°. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.2° RH: 60.2% VPD: 1.16 kPa June 10, 2024 I did some moving around today. It made more sense. Not much else for the day though. Sour Diesel A looks great. She has stacks and stacks. I'm starting to think I should have used the base nutrients from Advanced Nutrients from the start of Veg. I feel like I would have gotten a lot more side branching. Alas. None of them did that. Strange. I wonder if it's just the strain? Sour Diesel B is covered in buds. Huge, fat buds with long fat pistils. I can tell she will have some insane nugs. Can't wait. I may have to use another riser for her though, she is significantly shorter than C. In fact, I will have to use a riser for all 3 plants with the extra under B. I really want a nice level canopy, so plants don't have such different light intensity. Sour Diesel C was moved to the back left across from where she was. It was time. She is the biggest and therefore must be put in the back for easy access to all the plants. She towers over the rest of the plants at 26.5". Not a big plant I know, but the bud to branch ratio is amazing. She looks like she's slowing down though. Maybe she will have another burst of growth this week. I don't expect it though. She is well into flowering now. Ok, maybe not well, she is about a week behind everyone else in development, but that also means she stayed in Veg longer and got bigger. Sour Diesel D is still looking good as ever. She definitely stopped stretching. Shame that, I was hoping for a taller plant. But then again, she was originally the smallest, so I'm not surprised she's a small plant. Next run I'll ensure to use not only 5 gallon containers, but the whole nutrient schedule from Advanced Nutrients. I just don't have the grow from the base right now. I'll be getting that in a few weeks. She was also moved and took the place of C in the front right quadrant. It made the most sense to put her there. I was considering putting B there and D in front of C, but with the current riser setup, B is a bit taller than D. Honestly, A is the second tallest and I considered putting her in front of C, but it just didn't make sense. She stayed in the back where she has been. The lighting is a little strange to be honest, the DLI is definitely 45 mol/m²/d, but the plants are all reaching. Like there isn't enough light. Maybe there isn't. Maybe they like a whole lot of light. I'll test that today and see how they do. I'll just turn the power up to 100%. That should hopefully do the trick. It better. I'm still around 24" from the canopy. 21" from C. Also, moving them changed the position of the light for C and D. So it may help with leveling out the DLI. Also, raising the plants up to C's canopy will certainly help level the canopy light spread. The environment is still a bloody mess. Still over 60% humidity. However, the temp dropped to 74°. Right where I want it for now. I think I'll let it go up to 76°. Just below the threshold for trichomes. This strain likes a really warm climate and dry. I don't have the dry, so I really can't put the temp up that much or else I risk mold. Granted, I have plenty of airflow, so I shouldn't have to worry about mold or mildew or any pathogens. Let's hope I'm right. Anyway, we are looking at 4 well rounded plants. Not big, but I don't expect every plant I grow to end up being 5 ft tall in a 3x3 tent. These ladies are no different. I'm happy with a 26" plant. The rest aren't that far behind, so I can manage much easier. Happy days for me. As for nutrients, it looks like they have all taken well to the added nutes and increased doses. It shouldn't give any issues at all. Especially because I'm only using a third of a dose. I'm using living soil, or super soil, or whatever it is. It's hot. Lol. Update: Upon pondering and observing these ladies, I have noticed 3 distinct phenotypes. A and B are definitely a 50/50 mix hybrid. C is a straight up sativa dominant phenotype. And finally D who is completely indica dominant. It's quite interesting to see these differences and how they grew. Where A and B grew similarly hybrid looking leaves and kept their structure the same ( mostly from my training), C and D are polar opposites. C has the thinnest leaves and the longest branches. She definitely stretched like a sativa. D being the untrained one ended up with beautiful, fat green leaves. The internodal spacing is tight just like an indica. Her branches did not stretch much and the main cola is made up of quite a few of these short nodes bud sites. You can't call them branches as there is not branchy part. But there should be a branch. Oh well. Super fat cola coming my way. One similarity with all of them is their bottom. They didn't grow any bud sites half way down the plant. All 4 are like that. It's quite interesting. I would chalk it up to my training, but D did the same thing. The lowest node has no bud sites except for the top third. Don't get me wrong. They lollipopped themselves with out me interfering much. Plenty of room to work and top water if need be. Kind of like A. She needs a top feeding I think. I'll add recharge to the nutrients in a half gallon. Just to make sure the soil is moist all the way through. It definitely doesn't feel like it. She's so light compared to the rest. Weird. I'll keep an eye on that and update as needed. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.4° RH: 61.3% VPD: 1.10 kPa June 11, 2024 Not much going on today. It's picture day. Sour Diesel A needed to be top watered. She was entirely too light. She is still drinking the same as C, but still super dry. So she got a half gallon of water with Recharge in it. Just recharge though. No sense in adding even more nutrients when I'm just trying to moisten the soil. That should be fine. She also got a riser to match up with the canopy. Sour Diesel B looks great. She may need another riser. C hasn't stopped stretching apparently, so this little lady is being left behind. She actually hasn't had much to drink in the last day or 2. Her soil is still moist, but the reservoir is still very full. Sour Diesel C is still stretching. She's now 28" tall and I don't think she's done yet. I'm going to have to think about maybe super cropping to keep the canopy level and not too close to the light. I'll also run out of risers as well. We will see what happens over the next couple of days. She's also showing signs of clawing. Nitrogen toxicity, but I haven't added any nitrogen. Are there other issues that can cause clawing? Too much light? Too humid? It can't be the temp as that's fine and it can't be the nutrients. That would make no sense. Especially because she is the biggest and clearly will become bigger. Sour Diesel D needs a riser as well. With B still stretching, I'm going to need to either move the light up if I can or drop the power down. Dropping the power down will take away from some of the depth the light can go, but I won't get light burn or foxtails. I really don't want the light less than 20" from the canopy if I can help it. As it stands with Sour Diesel C, I may have to remove the exhaust fan and run it from the outside of the tent. It's fine, but I'm not really a fan of not having a carbon filter. And I'm definitely not a fan of not having the sound insulation from the tent. It's nearly silent in the tent. But a little louder outside of it. The light needs to be changed again. I need to lift the other plants first to get an accurate DLI. I'll do that later on today I think. The environment is a shame to exist. It's ruining the whole grow. I think the humidity caused a bit of stunting. It's way too high and should have been below 50% 2 weeks ago. I don't know what to do. I'm definitely going to have flowering problems. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.0° RH: 59.8% VPD: 1.16 kPa June 12, 2024 It's watering day. Not much else though. Sour Diesel A needed a bit more top feed. So I filled the reservoir with .75 gallon and top fed the rest. She is thirsty. Not like reservoir thirsty. She seems to prefer the top feed. I think. Her buds are growing nicely. The pistils are now super fat. I can only imagine how dense these buds are going to be at the end. Another thing, she by far has the most trichomes. And I mean by far. She's covered in them. The next most covered is B. Sour Diesel C and D are about the same. Not much in trichomes. I expect that from C as she is a bit behind. Bud D should have plenty of trichomes as well. I'm very curious to see what happens in the end. Sour Diesel B needed no extra water on the top. She got a full gallon reservoir refill. Her buds are pretty big now. I wonder if this will be the first plant to finish up. Sour Diesel C looks absolutely wonderful. I think she stretched a bit more. Not much, maybe an inch or so. I didn't bother measuring her today though. I'll do that tomorrow. She also got a small amount of top feed today. About the same as A. Close to a quarter gallon. Sour Diesel D is looking great as well. She also needed no top feeding. Her buds are getting bigger along with the pistils. I may also need to snip a few leaves off. They got big and are covering bud sites. The lighting has to be messed with yesterday. The plants were praying really hard at 70% power. So I increased the power back to 80% and recorded a DLI of 50 mol/m²/d in the center of the tent. The outside is around 45 mol/m²/d. Before that, the center was 45 mol/m²/d. I guess it made that much of a difference. The plants aren't praying as much and have a slight lift to them. Perfect I think. The environment is still a hot mess as usual. I cannot for the life of me get the damned humidity to drop. It just hovers at 60% regardless of the humidity. Well, no. If the humid climbs at all, the RH increases as well, but when the humidity drops, the tent RH stays at 60%. It's maddening. And I'm super confused as to why. I have a 3rd dehumidifier I forgot about. I might put that in as well. But I doubt it will do anything. The 2 more powerful ones do absolutely nothing. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.9° RH: 59.6% VPD: 1.17 kPa June 13, 2024 Picture Day! I did a little bit today. Took some measurements, removed a few leaves here and there and rotated a couple of the plants. No watering today. The reservoirs are still full. It actually shows that this strain doesn't seem to need much water. Sour Diesel A looks great! She is 23" tall now and I think that's where she will be staying. Unless she isn't done stacking. We shall see. She doesn't seem to have lost any weight from the top watering I did the other day, so that's good. It means the bottom feed system is working correctly. I snipped a few leaves off her today. Just a few that were blocking other bud sites and overlapping other leaves. Plus it opened the canopy up a bit more for even better airflow. One great thing with this plant is her trichome production. It's insane. I can expect an extremely frosty plant at the end. Sour Diesel B has massive buds for her age. She isn't quite as frosty as A is, but she is a close second. However, the bud size makes up for the lack of trichomes for the moment. I'm sure she will be packing them on in no time. She is 21" tall and will definitely be staying there. One really good thing about her height and stature is light penetration. With such a shallow canopy, she will get all the way to the bottom of the plant, possibly even deep enough to not have any popcorn. We shall see. Sour Diesel C is looking great at her 30" height. I removed a few leaves off of her as well. She only needs a few. Just to open more light penetration and of course unblock previous bud sites. Her internodal spacing is perfectly on point. Especially because her buds should be a bit longer due to her sativa dominance. Sour Diesel D looks normal. Nothing really special to say about her. I popped off a few leaves yesterday that were covering the main cola and some of the canopy. But today was just a picture. She's also 23" tall just like A. But she should definitely be taller because of the lack of training I did. Oh well. Little baby plant. The lighting is staying the same. I have a feeling that my Photone app needs to be calibrated again. So I'm doing this by what the plants are showing me. All of them reached pretty hard at 70% power and 40 mol/m²/d. Then they were reaching at 45 mol/m²/d. They shouldn't be reaching at that level, so I'm only using the Photone app for reference for now. Currently the power is at 80% and all ladies are slightly praying. Just like they should be. Oh, I turned a few plants. Sour Diesel A got a quarter rotation. Just to give the most outside buds some light and get them away from the wall. Sour Diesel B also got a quarter turn. Same reason and to also adjust for fitting in the tent. Sour Diesel D was rotated a half turn to make more space and give the other side some time under the light. The environment is still unfortunate. Temp is fine at 76° but the humidity is at 62% and won't come back down. I'll continue opening the tent periodically to remove the humidity for a bit. The room is down to 55% and it's really nice out with the humidity being around 45%. Everything should be fine. But it's not. Damnit. But I'll work with what I have. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.1° RH: 58.8% VPD: 1.20 kPa June 14, 2024 Nothing going on today except for the Daily Picture. Other than that, a quick review of each plant. Sour Diesel A looks fantastic. Tons of frost and good stacking. The buds aren't that big yet, but I expect them to swell up in the next 3 weeks. That's how long the Big Bud is supposed to be administered. Sour Diesel B is catching up with A in regards to trichomes. Her buds are massive now for her age and size. She may be done a week or 2 earlier than the rest. I'll keep her in the regular schedule. Mostly because this should be a 6 week flowering period with a week of flush. Sour Diesel C is also catching up to A in trichome production. It's to be expected as the plants get further into flowering. I hope to see frost like A on all the plants. Sour Diesel D is the second frostiest her leaves are super sticky and oily. Sour terps all the way. I'm not getting any gas yet, but I'm assuming that will come with more trichomes and when they start to swell up and turn cloudy. I ended up snipping a few leaves off her today my just ones that were really covering a lot. And there are a lot of leaves that are covering. I just can't snip them now. But she is seriously compact and I'm not sure how well the buds are going to grow. I've found that tight plants don't have the best bud production. It's like the leaves just block everything. And because this plant hasn't been trained, the main cola is mostly leaves. Buds are kind of hard to see. Not the best outcome, but this is the experiment. She is the control. Lol. Not much of an example, but there you have it. The lighting stays the same. No changes at all. The plants are really liking where it is I think. Slight praying and a bit of a reach. The pistils are all standing straight up as well. I'm hoping this is a sign that they may need more light vs light stress. However, I'll need to measure the light distance at the beginning of next week. I'm topped out with the light now, so it will be a matter of either increasing the light power or dropping the light down a bit. But that's only if they are light hungry. I'll have to research. The environment was pretty good for a lot of yesterday afternoon. It was down to 52% humidity with the temp at 76°. It was great! Not perfect but still much better than over 60%. It's another beautiful day today, so the humidity shouldn't be all that hard to control. So far today we are back over 60%, but I don't expect it to stay that high for long. It should go back down to 52% in the next few hours. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.1° RH: 57.8% VPD: 1.23 kPa June 15, 2024 The last day of week 3 of flower. I did some last minute leaf removal this morning. Not much. Just some leaves that were being crushed by the wall and some overlapping inner leaves. Nothing crazy. A few from each plant. No watering today. They still don't need it. I'm not sure if that's good or bad, but they all have roots showing now and all but one have wet bottoms. Sour Diesel A is the problem child when it comes to the bottom feed system. She's still lighter than the rest, but shows no signs of under watering or anything. The roots are growing right where the wicks are and that isn't normal. It should be the whole bottom of the container. Not really sure what to do. Maybe submerge the bottom again and see if it activates properly. Either way, the reservoir will be refilled tomorrow. Maybe I'll make a second batch for her and submerge her in that and let her soak it up. That's what I'll probably do. She's still frosty as ever which also tells me she's very happy. I feel like she could be doing better with bud production. They aren't as fat as I'd hoped. I know it's only the 3rd week of flower, but B has huge buds and has since she started flowering. Sour Diesel B looks great with her big ole buds. She suddenly got really frosty overnight, finally. I can only imagine how she will look in a few weeks. It's a 45 day flowering time, so we are half way there. All of the buds on the whole plant look fantastic. Even the lowers look promising. They will most likely be tight popcorn. I can't complain about that. It will just get pressed anyway. Sour Diesel C is the star of the show now. Just like B, she got really frosty overnight. Her buds are swelling pretty quickly now that we are in the second half of flower. I can only expect her to get much fatter buds in the weeks to come. Sour Diesel D got frosty as well, not as much as the others, but still pretty frosty. Her buds are starting to swell as well. It looks like this lady will be right on time. All of the plants look like they will be right on time. Except for B. She looks like she will finish early. Or not and will just be a massive plant of colas. I'll be adjusting the light if I need to tomorrow. I don't think I'll need to at all. The plants seem to be very happy with it. The environment is starting to calm now that the weather has cleared up. The central air has been kicking on earlier in the day so the humidity in my room has been hovering around 53%. The tent however, is still high at 60% humidity. But the central air isn't on yet. So I just open the door every hour or so. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.5° RH: 59.8% VPD: 1.18 kPa

Managed to keep humidity at lower levels thanks to adding two mini dehumidifiers. Although, the space in the tent is quite tight at the moment, I will use 9l pots next time 😉. Ps: one plant (the one from the video and the single one in the picture) it’s probably not HulkBerry Automatic, I think that Royals Queen Seeds sent me one wrong seed in the package. The plant is completely different from the others 🤷‍♂️🏼.

May 10, 2024 A new week and more flushing. Both ladies look really good. Tropicana C is way too heavy for her branches. It's good and bad. It's bad because they are flopping all over. And it shows how weak these tops are. It had to be my nutrient regimen. It's good because it shows the buds are dense and heavy. Tropicana Cookies has significantly stronger branches and can hold a lot of weight for the size of the buds. I could just be a tight fit with all the buds up and down each top. Who knows. They are starting to lean a little bit, but not too bad. Her buds are almost all purple top to bottom and the leaves are getting lighter and lighter throughout the plant. She's covered in trichomes. From what I can see, there's not nearly enough amber trichomes on the buds. Very soon though. I reactivated her wick system today. Her container was about half the weight as it was yesterday. Maybe now that it's not saturated anymore, the wick system will provide what it needs. We shall see later today I think. The lighting for some of this week will stay the same. I'm just waiting for the other 2 plants in the tent to start their flush. Then I'll drop the power down some. Most likely to a DLI of 36 mol/m²/d. We shall see. I'm also curious if it will actually do anything. They are autoflowers and light doesn't really mean much. Just as long as it's on and the right DLI, it should be fine, right? Anyway, I'll drop it when the flush starts anyway. I want to see what happens. The environment is looking a little better. The humidity is lower at 54%, but still way too high. At least it's below 60% finally. But 54% isn't much better. The temperature is pretty good at 76° during the day and 67° at night. I still can't get it down to 66° at night, so 67° will have to suffice. However, there is about a 10° difference between lights out and lights on. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.1° RH: 54.2% VPD: 1.29 kPa May 11, 2024 Watering day! Last watering of the grow. I'll let them dry out from now on. It should be like 4 days before they are dried out. Tropicana Cookies looks so close to being done. Her fade is spreading and I'm guessing another 3 days? Maybe less. There is so much more purple now. Ite absolutely beautiful. She definitely will need a trichome check daily. Tropicana C has started showing purple finally. I'd give her another 5 days, maybe a week. I honestly cannot tell. I'll check trichomes tomorrow and every day afterward. Her buds are definitely getting heavier and some even look fatter. She's definitely not quite ready, but super close. The light power will be dropped in a couple days down to a DLI of 36 mol/m²/d. Not much else for that. The environment is still kind of a mess. The temp is fine at 75°, but the humidity is still high at 55%. I even got the temp down to 66°. So that's good. I'd like to keep it there for the rest of the grow. I'll also try to drop the temp during the day to help bring out more color. It will also help with keeping the temp low during the drying period. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.0° RH: 53.6% VPD: 1.27 kPa Update: I ended up checking the trichomes anyway, and i think I know when they will be done. Just an estimate, but I think a good one. Anyway, Tropicana Cookies should be done in about 3 days while Tropicana C should take about 5 days. I may wait and harvest both at the same time. Or in between and harvest them in 4 days. Tropicana Cookies just needs more amber trichomes. They are almost all cloudy. Very few clear, but only about 5% amber. Tropicana C on the other hand, has a bit too many clear trichomes and no where near enough amber. 5 days should do it. 4 might be a little early, but that might be the only option. We shall see in 4 days. May 12, 2024 Not much going on today. Tropicana Cookies had a soaked bottom again, so I removed 1 of the wicks. So there should be about half the water going in now. She's definitely not thirsty. So very close. Anyway, she is fading quite nicely and I think she will have a whole bunch of beautiful colors. Lots of purple and some nicely fading fan leaves. Light greens, yellows a tiny bit of red. But not there yet. Tropicana C did not have a soaked bottom today. She never does. It just tells me she is still thirsty. Which also tells me she still has some time left. Maybe 4 to 5 days, but I may harvest her in 3 to 4 days. It all depends on how she looks. I got some trichome pics today. Just one for each plant, but they were the best I could get so there you have it. Anyway, Tropicana Cookies looks very close. More amber trichomes, more cloudy and much less clear. Tropicana C still has a bit too many clear, but definitely has more cloudy. Not too many amber, but more than yesterday. I still plan to drop the DLI down to 36 mol/m²/d in a day or two. It won't really matter, but it's still important to note. It's for the other plants in the tent. The environment is a lost cause. I can still control the temp, but the humidity is still at 57%. I have the temp at 77°, but I think I'm going to drop it down to 74°. I don't think the humidity will go up with the temp change. And if it does, back up to 77°. I'll probably get the 74° mark, so all good. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.9° RH: 55.6% VPD: 1.25 kPa May 13, 2024 Not much going on today. I checked trichomes and I think I'm going to harvest when Tropicana C is done. She should be done in a couple of days. Maybe 3 to 4? Maybe less? I'm supposed to be harvesting tomorrow, but I'm not sure I will. I'll check the trichomes again tomorrow, but both are there. Just a little bit more. Not too much longer though. I have 4 more plants ready to come in like ASAP. Anyway, the trichomes on Tropicana C are mostly cloudy now, with a few clear and more amber. Maybe 8% to 10%. Just a bit more. Tropicana Cookies is a bit further with next to no clear trichomes and the same amber as her sister. Roughly 8% to 10%. She will definitely be done either tomorrow or the next day. So I think it makes more sense to focus mostly on Tropicana C for harvest time. I really don't want to harvest an indica too early. Not to mention, the purple is coming through really quickly for Tropicana C. Tropicana Cookies has almost all purple buds. The very bottom of the plant still has mostly green with purple coming through just a bit. It's more like pink than purple. But the majority of the bud is green. These are the underdeveloped buds. Not even worth of popcorn I think. That stuff will become concentrate. The light intensity will be dropped tonight down to a DLI of 36 mol/m²/d. Kind of pointless for the last couple days, but it needs to be done. The environment is driving me crazy. I can keep the temp at 74°, but then the humidity goes up to 58%. Much too high. Even opening the tent door only drops the humidity down to 52%. I'm going to need to drop the humidity in my room down to 35% somehow and maybe I'll get below 50%. This is ridiculous. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.4° RH: 56.2% VPD: 1.24 kPa Update: I ordered a new dehumidifier for grow tents today. It should be here tomorrow. I'm guessing a lot of my problem with the humidity is my current dehumidifier. It barely pushes air. Cheap and well used. The new one is from Vivosun. A much more reputable company. May 14, 2024 Trichome day! Took a couple videos. The videos are kind of crappy. I hurt my back so I'm shaky. I removed the wick system completely from both plants. Tropicana Cookies was yet again soaked. Not as bad with just the one wick, but still soaked. Anyway, I pulled the wicks and emptied the reservoirs. Maybe that will help with the humidity. They should both be dried out in a few days. Just in time for harvest. Tropicana Cookies looks wonderful! Her buds are nearly black, with nearly black leaves. It's the darkest strain I've ever grown. Insane. She still has a day or 2 left to go. There's trichomes, but not enough. Hopefully 2 days will do it. Trichomes are mostly cloudy, a little bit of clear and not enough amber. Tropicana C is right behind her sister plant in the dark purple color. Her flowers and sugar leaves are getting super dark. Fan leaves are lights ing up, but not fading. I have a feeling she is going to need longer than I have been estimating. I also have a major issue with the side branches all around the plant. They are just laying down. Buds completely facing down. The branches are also super weak. I don't understand what happened. Back to trichomes. There's like 20% clear still and nowhere near enough amber. The lower light intensity doesn't seem to being doing anything, but I'm sure it's preserving the trichomes. Maybe even helping along the plants to finish up. The environment is still a nightmare. The temp is still fine, but the humidity is stuck at 60% again. The humidity in my room is higher than outside. I have the door open to help drop it, but it's not helping with the tent humidity. I have no idea how environmental science works. Lol. I wonder if I defoliate both plants a couple days early, what will happen. Wouldn't it put all of its energy into the buds and increase trichome production, like a last push? I'll research this and decided what to do by tonight. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.3° RH: 59.2% VPD: 1.15 kPa May 15, 2024 Nothing going on today. Both ladies are about halfway there before completely drying out. I'd say another 2 days. I was going to harvest tomorrow, but I checked the trichomes and they still aren't there yet. Plus, I think the other 4 waiting to get in the tent still have time to veg before they overwhelm their containers. One of them is very close, but I don't think she will be a problem in the next 2 days. Plus I can always train her down. Tropicana Cookies is starting to lean more. Her branches aren't quite falling over, but they are definitely getting weighed down. She seems to have basically stopped fading. Still a lot of green leaves, but each top is essentially all dark purple. So this may be it for fading. Now I can only wait for her to ripen up. Hopefully 2 more days. I really can't push it that much further. Tropicana C is still behind her sister by a bit. Not much, but enough for me to be concerned about harvesting them together in 2 days. I guess I'll see how the 4 other plants are doing in 2 days. Maybe I'll wait 3. Who knows at this point. It's been 7 weeks, so it should be any day. I think the light intensity is making the smell stronger. Less intense light is keeping the trichomes nice and plump and filling with cannabinoids. So maybe it was a great idea to drop he intensity. The environment is still kicking my ass. I can't get the humidity to drop below 60% and now I don't have much control over the temp It's stuck at 73°. Not bad for this stage, but it's killing the VPD. It needs to be at like 1.5 kPa, but it's at 1.00 kPa. Super bad. No good. The night temp is still too high. The average last night was 69.1°. Much too warm for night temps. Maybe that's what is taking Tropicana C to turn purple. She's getting there definitely and should be the same color as her sister. They are the same phenotype after all. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.9° RH: 63.0% VPD: 1.00 kPa May 16, 2024 The final day of the week and I think I need to harvest these 2 tomorrow. The 4 Sour Diesels I have in my 2x2 tent are starting to get bigger and will need more space very soon. Not to mention, they are in my 2x2 tent I use for drying. Tropicana Cookies is basically done. I didn't check her trichomes today, but all the buds top to bottom are purple. Lighter purple in the lowers, but those are popcorn and larf, so I'm not so worried. She also seems to have stopped fading. She's nearly dried out now. Probably tomorrow right when I need to harvest. Tropicana C on the other hand has her trichomes looked at today. Made a video and took a pic from it. Anyway, the trichomes are much more cloudy now and maybe 7% amber. She should go a few more days, but I still have the dilemma of the other plants. I guess it all depends on how they look tomorrow I guess. She hasn't started fading yet, but more purple is showing up everyday. That's another reason I think she could go a few more days. She still hasn't even begun to fade. She's about half dry, but if I have to, I'll add a half gallon of plain water tomorrow to see if she fades at all. I may have to harvest Tropicana Cookies tomorrow and then Tropicana C a few days later. I should be able to fit 4 more 3 gallon containers in the 3x3 with just the one plant gone. It'll be tight and I'll need to Tetris the shit out of it, but I think I can manage. One thing I haven't thought about until now is drying itself. If I have to harvest separately, the 2 to 3 day difference will mess up the dry for the first one harvested. I think? Maybe not. I have a plan. Instead of hanging them next to each other, I'm going to hang them on top of each other. So the first will be Tropicana Cookies on top and later in Tropicana C on the bottom. Theoretically, with this setup, I could control the humidity a bit better. When Tropicana Cookies is nearly done and needs the extra humidity for that even dry, Tropicana C will have brought it back in and I should be able to hold it around 60% for the rest of the drying time for both plants. Lighting doesn't matter anymore. It's served it's purpose and I could technically take one out now for a 2 day dark period before harvest. But if anything, I'll wait for tomorrow. I honestly didn't think about the dark period until now. Haha. Whoops. That may just solve problem entirely. I don't have to wait for harvest time. My other plants won't get too big and I can put them in the 3x3 more comfortably. I can also harvest both plants at the same time. Or, if I have room, I can place Tropicana C in the dry tent on the bottom while Tropicana Cookies gets hung up. I don't think there's enough space though. Anyway, I think the best course of action is to put Tropicana Cookies in the dry tent for a 2 day dark period and harvest both when Tropicana C is ready. Then I can see if there's a difference between lights all the way to harvest or dark for 2 days. Fun! The environment is the bane of my existence. The new dehumidifier is definitely stronger than the old one and more compact. I even left the old one in there as well. Both running at the same time can only drop the humidity to a solid 60%, but my room is 63% and I can't do anything about it. I also have the tent completely sealed off. I think it's helping to keep the humidity from climbing to 65% or 70%. I have the temp up a bit to 76° and 77°. Just to help a smidge with the DLI. The only thing I have an advantage with is my ari flow and spread canopy. There's 2 fans blowing around air and the exhaust. It should help prevent mold or bud rot, but with such high humidity for days, I can only imagine something bad is happening. Maybe not bud rot or mold, but the chemical composition of the buds? Obvious indicas starting to bulk. sativas still stretching.. Started upping additives for resin and terpene production. Not sure if it's worth it on unknown strains, but giving it a go anyway.. I know what these seeds produce in soil, so should be able to compare end product.. Getting problems in the kratky..Changed over to using vitaponix (bought a sample pack) - and am getting what looks like root rot.. Ai is now telling me it could be a good time to lower my Canna a to 2.5mlpl and keep b at 4mlpl. to lower nitrogen intake. give that a go next week. Have combined week 4&5 pics.

Day 48. They look as sad as pitty UK summer. Days are in low 20, nights as low as 11.... constant rain .... Have doubts about that strain, but #1 is getting somewhere ;))))) others in shade and dont grow as big as they should by now. Picky strain in my mind. My friend has last bean in greenhouse and she is weakest from 3 strains he tries . #1 lost two sets of bottom branches , #2 and #3 lost three sets each. They needed good clearing from worthless sides. Cleared all garden from fresh grow, aerated soil, put slug pellets and thats it. Came late so leaves are droopy. Plus i think heavily represent overwatering ;))) but with such air ..... I see some preflowers, so count this as last veg week. Will visit in two weeks to top up with PK boost. Have some crazy person in city , look what he does to one post box ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Hard to believe it's been another week. These beautiful girls are growing great. They're definitely swelling amazing especially at the top colas. Starting to see some faded leaves so I think I'll back down my nutes from 1050 to around 800. All in all Happy Growing.

Die Blüten schwellen immer mehr an und ein starker Geruch liegt im Raum. Um die Temperatur von teilweise 31°C zu verringern habe ich einen zweiten Mini-Ventilator oben im Zelt angebracht, wodurch warme Ablift der Lampe abgezogen wird. Da ich eine sativalastige Wirkung möchte und meiner Beobachtung zu Folge etwa 85% der Trichome bereits milchig sind, werde ich 7 Tagen ernten, was insgesamt 70 Tage von Keimung bis Ernte entspricht.

Como ha mostrado a lo laargo de estas semanas y meses, algo fuera de lo comun y en floracion no se queda atras. El color y grosor de tallos ya esta demas decir lo bien que andan, el olor (que es algo caracteristico de esta etapa de la planta) es muy fuerte y frutal. Estos pre-cogollos tienen una produccion de resina que esperemos se mantenga hasta el final....

Buds are starting to really stack up. Especially on the blue Cookies. The zombie kush plants are also looking really good but the size and also the color isn't as nice. The one blue Cookies plant that is turning purple tho is throwing me off because the blue Cookies plant doesn't turn purple. From what I can see from crop king is that platinum cookies and purple kush are the only ones that turn purple like this so I'm not sure if it's just a genetic freak or a different strain. The platinum og plants tho still look worse for wear and not getting much better. Hopefully they end with something tho. Well that's all for now so happy growing.
