2/17: I spent a little time rearranging today. I bought some 32" x 14" plastic ventilated storage shelves and cut the legs down on two of them so I have some different-height platforms for the shorties in the garden. I should also be able to easily flush 6 plants in 5 gallon pots, or 9 plants in 3 gallon pots at a time now, that's a win!👈 2/18: I debated whether to feed or not, and settled on watering them with about 1/2 gallon each. including bembe, cal-mag, signal, humic acid, and a little beastie bloomz. The new dehumidifier is pulling about a gallon and a half per day from the air, so I should be able to feed them in a couple of days. 2/19: Rainy day outside, so I'm pulling in 99% humidity, plus the pots are still petty saturated, but the new dehumidifier is keeping up. RH is holding at about 45% today.👍 2/20: Day 31 of flower...they don't seem to be stretching any more, so they aren't a problem, but other plants have been. A semi-solution occurred to me that allowed me to raise the lights another 3-4 inches. Now I'm truly maxxed out... So far, this has been the most consistent of the FFT strains I'm growing. They actually "look" like sisters.. I took photos and videos of all the plants today since I had to empty the closet and it wasn't a feeding day. 2/21: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including beastie bloomz, tiger bloom, big bloom, signal, bembe, and cal-mag...no grow big this time. 2/22: They're both looking great..no complaints at all. 2/23: I ordered some Terpinator because I'm not so sure about Signal's efficacy at this point....I'm usually dealing with odors more by now..😕 I've reached the ceiling again with my lights, but these two plants wont be a problem. They're both budding up nicely now.

Week 9 Started this week flushing with plain water 4 times my pot size then followed directly with a 1ml per litre mix of Cal Mag and 75% recommended nutrient mix pH to correct value in order to treat deficiencies showed last weeks! I assume it was a PH issue... even so, i increased also the distance from my lights! The buds of pot1 seems to have fatten a lot and looking at overall progress of this girl i might harvest the top buds in a few days and leave the rest of plant to mature. Slower development on pot2, this one have huge space betwin internodes and i´m dissapointed with the small size of her buds so far ! The smell are delicious (subjective i know but i love it 😅) and it´s getting very strong 💪!

Shes really doing her thing. I have had so much fun growing this and learning, It's exactly what I hoped for in a first grow, and better yet one of my favorite classic strains. So excited for real buds to fatten up.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I am getting worried about it being too crowded in the tent. I decided that a good defoliation was needed but I was only able to get about 2 of them done. It's a time consuming process so I'll have to do each plant when I can throughout this coming week. I want to focus on taking out the little branches that won't yield much and remove big leaves to promote better air flow and light penetration. This also helps them to put more energy into bud production.

The Plants are vigorous and the growth is currently slow but steady. I’ll up my light power and give them a good watering to hopefully push them on.

This gorilla cookie by fast buds is freaking awesome guys, I'm really in love with this genetic, very strong smell, trichome glands everywhere, and 2 out of the 3 plants that I'm growing are going to develop full purple buds!! The smaller Potter of Gorilla Glue is doing okay under the Spider Farmer G3000 light. The nutrition is a little strong for her, but I keep flushing the ph back up every few days. It's not causing any issues anymore, but needs to come up more in the substrate for flowering better. She had a selective defoliation done and fed. Then I placed her back in the tent. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil.
