Green_Guanche Here we go with my first indoor grow. Out of the 3 seeds, one had trouble shedding the membrane stuck to the shell. With the help of a needle, I removed it, and now I have it under a LED light for 24 hours to see if it opens up and catches up with its sisters. Other than that, no issues with germination. It's my first experience with indoor growing, so any comments or help are appreciated. Edit: For the lagging plant due to the seed cap, the third one to emerge, I gained a day of growth with the LED, but it was still smaller than its sisters, so I placed it right under the light in the cabinet to ensure it gets the most light and grows more. After a couple of days, it's now the same size as its sisters. The indoor environment started off perfect, but we've had some hot days, and the temperature rose a lot, so I cranked up the intake and exhaust fans and managed to keep it around 29ºC at the cost of lowering the humidity by about 10%. I hope it can handle the summer heat well; for now, I'm satisfied with the 29ºC.

Green_Guanche The plant that had the germination problem is one of the strongest right now; it was a good idea to put it in the center getting more light. For now, all three are very healthy and looking good, the leaves are a bit curled upwards due to the heat spikes these days, I imagine, other than that they are doing well. Edit: One of them is a bit pale; I moved it to a different spot with one of its sisters thinking it might have to do with the light position or airflow, but no, it still has a weaker color than the others and is smaller. They all share the same substrate, fertilizer, and other variables, so it might be an issue with the plant itself. I will keep a close eye on it, and if I see it stays the same, I will start giving it more water or fertilizer than the others to see how it responds. Edit: All the plants except the pale one are doing well; one of the three has its leaves a bit curled upwards. For now, I have set aside the fertilizer. I have used homemade fertilizers and have never had this problem, so for now, I will stop using it until a more advanced stage. The pale plant seems to appreciate the water without fertilizer, and the pH drop of the water that I left at 2.18 still looks weak but has grown a bit more.

Green_Guanche We're starting the third week, I've stopped using fertilizer and am just watering with water until I see the tips of the leaves go down a bit. The weak plant has shown some improvement, but it still has a much lighter color than its sisters and the leaves aren't as thick, it's going to be left behind. The other two are strong and still without any issues. Update: Stopping the fertilizer has done wonders for the plants. I detected a magnesium deficiency (yellow spots on the old leaves) and started applying CalMag via foliar and in watering since the night of 04/08. The mutant plant is still the same, small and a lighter color than the others, I'm still wondering what the reason is, it gets exactly the same care as the others, for now, I would say it's genetics. It's growing at its own pace, but compared to the others, it's a dwarf.

Green_Guanche Out of the 3, 2 of them are still growing strong and healthy, but the alien is lagging behind. I took a photo next to one of its sisters to show the brutal difference between them; I don't know what could have happened, but it looks like a different species. The addition of magnesium and calcium has been good for all of them in general; this week I'll go back to using fertilizers in low proportions. Update: The mutant plant is still the same, very lagging and weak. The other two are branching well and starting to activate the flowering phase. I've applied fertilizers again in low amounts.

Green_Guanche The flowering is going full throttle, I understood that the flowering period is about 60 days, but the truth is it started from the middle of the fourth week of vegetation, so it won't be as late as I thought. The mutant plant is still evolving very, very slowly; most likely, I'll take it out of the tent this weekend, apply a pest preventive, and leave it outside, letting the sun and nature do what they think is best. The other two are compact in height, but the truth is they are loading up with flowers; let's see how they continue to evolve. Update: I took the mutant plant out of the tent, applied pest preventive, and left it outside; it seems that the sun and the fresh outdoor air are doing it good. In two days, the color and strength of the leaves have improved a bit, very curious indeed. The other two are flowering very quickly for an auto with a 60-day flowering period. The branches are still growing towards the light; as long as I don't see that they need it, I won't do LST. For now, they are managing well on their own.

Green_Guanche This week I've noticed that the stretching of the plants has slowed down a bit. I've increased the ratio of "grow" and "Bloom" fertilizers just in case they're lacking food. The mutant plant has really enjoyed the sun and the outdoors; suddenly it has made a little stretch, but its flowering looks minimal (in terms of production), let's see how it progresses. Update: I've detected some mealybugs inside the indoor grow, but they hardly affected the double Kush Cake. I removed them all by hand and cleaned the leaves and stems with potassium soap and neem oil, being very careful not to stain the flowers. For now, everything is going well. The mutant plant has grown more than double in just a few days in the sun; it looks like it's going to have a small yield, but at least it has stretched and is starting to flower.

Green_Guanche We're continuing with the flowering week without any issues. I'm having problems with high temperatures again these days, hitting peaks of 33º during the hottest hours. I've turned up the power of the fans to cool down the tent. So far, it doesn't seem to affect them much. One of the two plants is still more compact, but it's fattening up faster. The outdoor one had a visit from mealybugs, and I've cleaned it thoroughly; let's see how it progresses.

Green_Guanche From the two plants that are indoors, there aren't many updates, they're full of pistils and more every day. I know some of you will see the photos and be screaming for defoliation on the more compact one of the two, but I'm not a fan of doing that to autos; I just remove the ones that are at the very bottom, which are turning yellow, and with just a little push, they barely fall off—it's like the plant is getting rid of them itself. The buds on the compact plant are super fat, and that's even though they haven't started fattening up yet xD. It has such a short internodal distance that they're growing wide. The mutant plant, on the other hand, grew more in one week outdoors than in all the time indoors; it just shot up and started to flower, modestly though compared to its sisters. Unfortunately, it's caught some mealybugs and green worms, and I don't know what damn species of butterfly it is, but it's leaving the plant looking like Swiss cheese. I've manually cleaned what I could and I'll try to keep it under control as much as my time allows, but with these pests, I have enough for a blog.

Green_Guanche The plants keep fattening up, it's scary. They haven't stretched much, but the buds are fat and hard as rocks. The earthy aroma has intensified this week. As for the mutant plant, it continues its curious story. It attracted mealybugs and a type of green worm (I'll leave a video). That day I removed the worm and left the plant alone; I didn't have time and was feeling discouraged thinking about how to deal with the pests now that they were fattening up, as it was a hassle to clean leaf by leaf by hand. Well, the next day, Mother Nature worked her magic. I arrived prepared to clean it, and the plant was perfect, not a trace of even the tiniest insect. I was taking a few puffs while looking at the plant trying to understand what had happened, and suddenly a wasp appeared and started going along the underside of all the leaves and the stem, respecting the buds xD. That explains it; the wasp lady showed up and had a feast with all the insects and eggs that were on the plant. I managed to record her a bit with my phone. I had always hated wasps, and look at that, I got an unexpected friend/ally. She can come whenever she wants; she's invited to eat xD.

Green_Guanche Another week without incidents. The fattening continues. It smells amazing. The leaves have started to yellow, some of them are falling off on their own. The mutant plant stretched and flowered very quickly under the sun, it's very different from its sisters, it also seems to mature earlier even though it's smaller.

It's looking good! My grow was similar, same strain, but on week 7 I got spider mites and they kinda ruined everything. Good luck and keep up the good work 💪
