Much bigger then expected that was good and bad ive had one boy so far and one is questionable its in the pics also my punch breath still hasnt shown anything but its a beast and looks promising very female like growth patterns super stinky too she always was since her first set of real leaves she was a skunk

Flowering day 22 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Another great week that is over. They all develop exactly as it should be 💚. Since the last leaf and substrate application against tripse, I finally haven't seen any of the little biters 👍. Watering was done twice this week with 1.3 l each time (see table above for nutrients). The lowest shoots were removed so that the energy is not wasted in the lower part :-) . Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Not much do do this week. Training is mostly done. Don't really have anything to trim as was doing it as I went along. Just need to keep an eye on her. She's starting to flower but it looks like dimming the light affected the stretch. Day 37 - some mild defoliation Day 39 - looks like she's done with her stretch but hopefully she'll grow a bit more.

This is the start of my second grow and also second Northern Light Auto from RQS, the goal is to hit #1 in g/plant for that Strain. I didn't take as many notes as in the last grow but there are timelapses, some photos and metrics from probes. Started with 3 Seeds and then picked the 2 strongest. The System is a NFT System but due to the size of the tube and root growths the solution with submerge the roots ~70% later on. To combat that I use 3 small 1.5w air pumps, these are super silent, if one dies I got 2 more running and to be honest air pumps used in DWC systems are often oversized and rely on Broscience. In my Salad/Herb NFT Systems I don't use any air pumps and the plants are just fine and grow great. This time I added sprinklers to humidify the air inside the tube, slightly moisturize the Rockwool and speed up root growths. Spoiler: Was a great success :) The ratios for the fertilizers are not accurate in the following weeks, I have a 120l Reservoir that is filled 90-110l I top it up once or twice a week to sustain PH and EC, if you want to copy it just go by the EC and use the B (Calcinit) and A (Kristalon Blue/Orange) 50/50. I mix the solution myself with dry salts that I bought in bulk 25kg bags. 4l Water(distilled/RO preferably, tap water is OK) + 1kg salts mixes just fine, keep the solution dark and cool and it will stay stable for months. Dry salts don't expire if kept cool and dry so only mix what you need and keep the rest stored as dry salts. 40ml A + 40ml B is about 2EC and 6PH with my tap water, very similar to Canna, Plagron etc. isn't it? just with the twist that I pay ~20% of the known brands. P2O5, K2O, MgO etc. are always the same as long as they are produced by a good manufacturer, Yara is a world leader in fertilizer production just not to be found in you general hydroponics or hardware store. Any other known manufacturer is fine as well, pick the cheapest. Check Hoocho on Youtube to see a guide on how to mix your own solutions, it ain't that difficult trust me. From week 5 onwards I also use Oxygen granulate (KMPS, CAS-70693-62-8, 2KHSO₅ * KHSO₄ * K₂SO₄) if you want to use this check pool supply stores and buy the cheapest. Keep this one dry, cool and dark. I used a old pill bottle to keep some ready to go because it came in a 1kg container and I only need 2-4g per serving + the bottle has a silica pack in the cap. From week 6 onwards I used Haifa Grow Clean for Details check week 6, I use this one as dry salts and add it directly to the tank, it does not interact in a bad way with the solution. For meassurements I use a generic 8in1 Meter "PH-W218" branded by many companies, as usual, check stores and buy the cheapest. (Check week 1 for an image of it) I got mine from Aliexpress for ~70€ it uses the Tuya app so you can always check your metrics and export them aswell. The PH and EC probe are accurate and are giving me stable results for almost 1 year now, I re calibrate the PH probe once in a while and it is tops 0.15 off after a month, always double check your results with PH drops/paper. Bluelab is... A LOT more expensive for less value. For the timelapses I use 2 Tappo C210 2k Cameras, these have the ability to make the stream available trough RTSP so that you can access it trough a link in a browser and that way I snap a Screenshot with a raspberry pi :) after that I just render it with blender to a timelapse. Alright folks, I hate to admit it but I messed up. I deleted the photos for this week and I was so disappointed when I realized I did. My phone was glitching after an update so I did some maintenance and made some space, thinking I'd already uploaded my photos for the week to my drive because I'd done so for the Autos, but hadn't done the photoperiod pictures😣 But at least there's a video. On 8/1 I went to the local mushroom farmer just a couple miles down the road and got some spent hardwood substrate blocks. While there's not enough food left in them to make mushrooms, there's still live mycelium. The mycelium creates a symbiotic relationship with the cannabis plant by entering the soil and taking up residence in the root system. The roots can only take up so much surface area, but the mycelium can take up much more. So in exchange for sugars from the plant, the mycelium gives back nutrients. So in order for the mycelium to enter the soil I crumbled a couple blocks around the base of each plant and then watered it in. I hate playing this game of catch-up but it's just been wayyyy too busy and I've had hardly any time in the garden.

On day 1 I transplanted 2 BB clones into 3 gal smart pots with coco coir. I watered them in with veg formula and set up my blumat watering system with week 1 flower nutes. I raised PPFD to 600-700. On day 2 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.4 to 6.0. The rez is 823 ppm. The tops are 16.5" from the grow light. The blumats have not started watering yet and I will monitor to ensure it goes smoothly. I have the blumats set at 1.25 carrots on left plant and 1 carrot on right plant. The average PPFD of my 16 tops is 703 PPFD. I increased temps to 85 day 81 night to get leaf surface around 80 f during day. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. The rez is 782 ppm. The blumats have started watering and I will monitor closely over the next few days. On day 4 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.1. The rez is 717ppm. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is steady at 6.1. The rez is 706 ppm. The highest top is 15.25" from the light. I defoliated to bring in more air and light to deeper into the canopy. I increased the flow rate of blumat by .5 carrot on the right plant as it was a little to dry for my liking. The Clones are preforming well. On day 6 the reservoir PH is going down so I adjusted up from 6.0 to 6.2. The rez is 730 ppm. The highest cola is 14.75" from the light. The left plant had a runaway so I reduced blumat by 1 carrot. I increased flow of blumat on right plant by .5 carrot as it is still drier than I would like. On day 7 the reservoirs PH was adjusted from 6.3 to 6.0. The highest cola is 14.25". I reset rez with nutes.
