* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 This week she continued to fill in and she also pushed out more frosty tricombs!! The fade happened this week more and she fed off of more of the nutrients within the plant.....perfect😃......would like a little more even but she was ready based on tricombs. Would like to have seen the lower leaves a little more yellow but its good. I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Not really a lot more to add this week as it was mainly looking at the tricombs and her buds. The pH will impact the harvest but she has been fun to grow and very resilient to pest and bug issues as well as grower curve balls. As always.......nice job Sweet Seeds....... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0pH - 8L given to get a good flush....pH still running around 7.4 - Runoff in pots already were 7.9pH and 685ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.4pH and 360ppm. - she is 20” tall and 24” wide. - a number of clear tricombs but more becoming cloudy. June 21/20 - Day 72 - dry out day. - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - her frost levels are really coming out now.....was able to lower tent temps to 75 degrees and 51% humidity......its been raining a bit so damn humidity has been high. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting more pointy now and ripening nicely - leaves continue to fade......she is close - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. So where I live we had a really bad storm it had knocked out my power for a full 24 hrs so I had to give them some extra attention to insure there was no mold or any pest with no fan rotation. Then I also had to put them back on there proper timer to get things back on a roll so far so good they still look and smell amazing wish me luck

Finished week 2 of flower. I have been inspecting every single leaf for PM and have found a few spots, but quickly spot treated with solution. I have learned that PM is a SYSTEMIC disease and the spots on leaves are a symptom of an already infected plant. So the best thing I can do is keep the symptoms in check by spot spraying and its working! Only a few burned leaves as a result, but nothing like my first grow where it was widespread! Defoliated to thin out a bit and allow for better airflow. Light LST to a few of the taller stems to maintain an even canopy. Overall, I am happy with the way my 2nd indoor grow is progressing.

Chopped one before vacation and off to dry while I'm in Ireland and the UK, leaving the other one to keep going and chopped on return.

So I posted a update on the previous week of how the Big Bang wasn’t looking so good…Well She really continued to show signs of distress as time went on, the plant wasn’t drinking anymore, was yellowing and dropping leaves. I repotted it yesterday because when stuck my finger in😉 I got a pretty bad Oder from her, the roots didn’t look too bad but I’m no gardener (yet) I rinse them down and placed her in some fresh soil with a little extra earthworm castings mixed in. I was thinking about chopping her and just using it for a tea or something but I can’t bring myself to do it, especially since I know there isn’t any any pest or infection(because it hasn’t effected the crystal candy which it is in every close proximity to)🤷‍♂️🏾 I’m rambling now but if anyone has any suggestions I’m all ears…Well eyes, and open to criticism. My Crystal Candy Though😮‍💨😍

Lovely buds sweet and fruity with citrus smell. Taste is the same ;) She has a potential to have a good yield if you have a good lamp. Nice buds really sticky, with nice trichomes. :) It must be tried.

Trying to keep the conditions steady. The seem to be growing faster, they really like the fertilizer. All 3 have 4 nodes, but the bottom true leaves seem to be dying. Might have been inappropriate ph earlier. Day 25: The plants started to smell, although it’s weak Day 28: The fifth node is developing nicely. I think I’ll top them soon, maybe except the little one. It doesn’t seem to be growing well so far.

Well we finally reached the end. The last week was more cruise control. Just trying to remove the big fan leaves that's blocking any flowers. The trichomes looking kinda ready but still acceptable. During the last few days I maintained a daytime Humidity of around 60 and nighttime of 55. Temperatures are between 73 degrees and 67 degrees. Two days before chop they got 48 hrs of dark and 3 days of no water to add to the stress. After the 48hrs darkness all the ladies Came out extra frosty. Loving the change of hues on the blue gelato. The vanilla Kush is very oily and very very strong smell. Not a strong smell coming off the OrangeGelato though. The green gelato has a creamy smell.

My ladies are doing good, smell are weak at the moment but they are still on the beginning.

Another week, some more training, and girls seem healthy and green. No real clear signs of flower yet, meaning it may be bigger girls. Hopefully nice growth in the next week as well. Will continue to water when dry at a PH of 6.2-6.8, with decholrinated tap water and, keeping bottom of fabric pots wet to encourage root growth. Also keeping top soil moist and making sure they are getting decent light exposure. Will be amending top soil around and of week 5. Otherwise been easy and just monitoring heat and humidity. So far been easy to maintain 50-55% and temps from 22-24C during day. Sits between 19-20C at night. Continue to pull top sites down with LST and a couple leaves here and there, but otherwise usually tuck leaves under prime bud sites. I've decided another grow light would be the best way to go. I have bought another light and will update the diary next week with that information!

7/7: Transplanted plant to final pot! Roots showed out of tray. Accidentally pulled a root off during transplant 😢. After transplant I top feed/watered medium with a half gallon of treated water. I mixed 2ml of Rapid Start in 1 gallon water hub. Poured half in half gallon jug then poured half gallon over medium. Added 2 gallons of water into reservoir (1st white line) to promote root growth to bottom and to begin capillary reaction. 7/8: Bumped light intensity dimmer to 30%. 7/9: Left for Vacation.... Praying for my baby!🙏🏿 Going to be gone for 4 days. 😅 ***** For this Grow****** “Day Air Temperature” will be the max temp of tent for the week. “Substrate Temperature” will be the average temp of tent for the week. “Night Air Temperature” will be the lowest temp of the tent for the week.

I think its going to slowly turn every inch of its green part into yellow one.. the fan leafs already turned yellow, but I will not remove them.. i wanna see how it turns! Do you think I can hit week 13-14? Or even 15?

The Do Si Dos F1 Hybrid Automatic, did not start off well, they are a bit with the leaves gathered on themselves, but we are very confident of a fiery continuation, they have spoken very well of them and now that they take a little more nutrients you will see how they will go. Growing projects for autoflowering plants ----- As for autoflowering plants I really love preserving the Main Cola. So I will try to make or grow the plants well or badly without affecting the main cola. Nowadays topping on autoflowering plants is very accepted but it is not my favorite thing to transform a baby born to finish in 10 weeks into a baby that finishes in 14, I say at this point I do photoperiodic. But in periods of people who only grow autoflowering everything is permitted for goodness sake if you want to do it, do it I will not be the one to stop you. Also because the results are excellent nothing to really discuss about anything except time. All this to tell us that I recommend for example fimming on plants that tend to grow tall to give power to the lateral branches, LST as much as you want, I don't like too much, spread me out, I need space. HST and splitting are with experience. These are my tips not the absolute truth please do not mistake me for a great sage holder of the truth I speak as I see it. Got rid of the root rot. Got some nice looking healthy roots. Got a little too excited with chopping the big fan leaves off. Had to chop the ones on the topt plant it was having some weird spots on the whole leave.
