Check for early signs of stretch finishing. Evening (Before Lights Off) Ensure irrigation is not too late in the cycle to avoid wet medium during dark period. 👉 In Week 3 bloom, the plants are finishing their stretch and starting to put more energy into forming bud sites. Main job is: Setting Scrog net 2layers ,Control environment (VPD, airflow) ,Support the plant with bloom nutrients.

Welcome to my Lemon Orange by GREEN HOUSE SEEDS.. 1st set of nodes were removed with 1 fingered leafs they are energy sappers. Weeks 2-3 Days 9-21 Plant pushing along really fast really nice growers. She's been the one that's taken to the cold temperatures/ low RH the best. She's the biggest. And I'm a wk ahead. But' these past 2 weeks. I FLMING It and moved it into a 7L pot. And then when I felt I had enough shoots I then topped the Fliming just kept throwing out shoots, so after you see 4 very close you usually then top the tops and will be left with tight intersnodea usually resulting in an X shape if grow out. As it just keeps growing up. It has a real nice hight as she stands. The next week I tackle and defoliation her and will attempt to shape her in some fashion. But, I find. GHS strains when topped they rarely need shopping as its takes a natural shape.. but, I do plan t defoliation and LST her. Enzymes, pure Zym & Alga Grow have been used. Currently she sits in a 7L pot. She'll be moved to an 11l and then I'll decide what way to take her. Ppm is kept low as the soil is nutrient rich Royal mix. So? I only started adding small amounts of ALGA GROW as it takes a few days for the organic process to work. So adding in on wk 2 was what I did. Enzymes and Sugar Royal was also used. Along with a foliar spray of Vita Race as she looked she needed an iron kick. Looks like Dolomite lime is taken a bit longer. But, with such rapid growth. This plant is only showing slight signs of cal. The others are growing at a normal rate. And the slow but more effective method of slow release calcium over time looks to be doing well. I still use UltraPure Epsom Salt. Its the best source of mag/sulphur 250ppm feeds (that's tap included) with soil aim for 6.3-6.8 ph. Mine is 6.7. Alga feeds were just once a wk. 300ppm (tap included) ph doesn't need checking its organic so usually this nutrient (alga grow) gives 4.5ph, but? It does not need adjusting nor does any organic nutrient from plago when using soil. Week 1/2 40-42.5 750ppfd Week 3DLI 43.5-45 800 ppfd. . 17hrs this is and last 30mins is set at 15% to mimic sunset. Really drops light stress. And have noticed big drop in leaf dropping and much easier plant growth. Helps I've a top lux meter. Money well spent. it grew too big, i dont know why, i had all sorts of issues with the height and because of that it had lights on the side,I love the taste, and smell, and Indica hit.0 please note - it was 2050 grams wet, and ive pulled 165 grams dry of superb frosty buds,you have to try the OOZE people.00 I think I've fixed the data , if anyone sees anything change on here of other diaries , to something silly please let me know0

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Exciting week the plants are all out of germination and into their veg growth stage. This means we get to begin the exciting work of building our soil. When the plants veg growth reaches the tips of the pots, this indicates the roots also have and your plant is then ready for more room. We have a fantastic grow shop in town that is great about soil classes and teaching you some great essentials. We plan on utilizing this resource and will keep you updated with the progress of the soil build. Stay tuned for compost tea as well ;) Stopped by the grow shop to get the run down on the soil build. Because building your own soil creates hot soil, it needs to sit for 6-8 weeks. This obviously won't work for our purposes on this grow. After some deliberation we decided to go with a pre built soil that has already sat and composted. We are going to go with Build A Soil because they have done tons of research into their super soils. We want to do a super soil so that we don't have to top dress or add in any nutrients, we want the grow to be as natural as possible. After looking at Build A Soil's options we are leaning toward the L.O.S. OLY Recipe. This recipe uses 33% OLY Mountain fish compost. We want each plant to be able to finish out in the pots that we switch them into from their nursery pots. I recently found a new grow bag that we are going to try out for this next grow. It is a bag so it has a much larger circumference than the grow pots. It also has a lining on the sides of the grow bag so that it doesn't dry out from the sides like normal grow bags. This is our ideal growing situation because we are trying to simulate earth. When a plant is in the ground in the earth it doesn't dry out from the sides, we don't want our plants to either. The bags are very large (15 gal) but we don't want to fill to the top, in case we need to top dress more soil in the future. We use one cubic foot bag of soil per plant per container. This change will happen tomorrow at the turn of the week. Starting week two of Veg growth we will be in the containers that we finish in. This means minimal transplant stress and much less room for human error effecting my medicine.

Starting these Sweet cheese F1, inside a home made SpaceBucket. It has a Chinese UFO LED (150W - 70 W real) and a strip of white LEDs. I plan on scrog and topping + LST. Im aiming to get 75 g dried from one plant. I will use TopCrop ferts along the proccess. Lets see whats up! I've been feeding it since day 5. Water PH: 6.0 Top Crop Deep Underground & Top Veg. One feed is water only, and another one is with those nutrients. I feed her 50 ml of water every 2-3 days.

Day 130 – Harvest Day | Sweet Seeds – Gorilla Girl Today marks the official harvest of our Gorilla Girl by Sweet Seeds – exactly 130 days from seed. The plant finished strong, with dense, resin-covered buds and a very intense aroma that exploded in the final days. Based on her structure and the weight of the colas, we’re expecting a solid yield. Final Techniques: Last 2 weeks: Only clean, purified water (flush stage) Last 3 days: Complete darkness Twice during the dark period: Placed 2 kg of ice directly on the soil The effect was noticeable — right after the ice melted, the smell intensified dramatically, and the trichomes looked even more frosty and swollen. Throughout the entire grow, she was fed with the Xpert Nutrients line, and the results speak for themselves — healthy growth, strong structure, and top-quality flowers. Day 36 from seed touching soil. Bomb is catching up, but still smallest. Started to drink like others, just i give her a bit less. All girls started to smell strong. Development is nice, Mars TSL2000 making wonderfull job. Light is on 75% output. Watered today , 3 liters of 6.3 phed dechlorinated water went in. Thought to instal scrog, but its hard to reach anything even now, plus lifting pots becomes a problem. So will do heavy clearing next week or at the end of this one. Day 39. Girls got heavy training. Looks sad, they were ready to sleep, i did it very late in the day and watered next morning. Happy Growing !!!

2020-07-12 New week, same nutrients. I've been carefully monitoring nutrient intake and topping up plant 1 quite often, almost a gallon a day now. The 2nd plant is growing slower and eating a bit less but it's also a week behind developmentally. Plant 1 is happy with EC=1600 and I dilute that down to EC=1400 for plant 02. Plants are looking good! 2020-07-18 Last day of the week. Plant 01 is completely insane. It is so tall that I keep having to supercrop the top as more colas try to hit the light. I obviously let it veg for way too long but I struggled early on with nutrition so I didn't know what would happen when I finally dialed everything in!!! I am gonna take them to the end, I just hope I don't have to cut any colas off that become unmanageable. I have to be way more aggressive with my LST next time. Very very light nutrient burn on plant 2. Still running EC=1600 and EC=1400 for plant 1/2.

I removed the male balls manually (+/- 50). Probably a stress response to the strong pruning last week.
