JuanHaze_Arg 1/08/2025 starting a new diary after more than a year without growing, I soaked the seeds for 24 hours in a glass of water + a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. Then I transferred them to a small container with damp paper towels for 3 days. When the radicle showed 1.5 cm (I watered with bioenhancer 1g x L to give the soil some microorganisms), I moved them to substrate to finish germinating in their medium. 04/08 they are already 2 cm above the soil.

JuanHaze_Arg Tuesday 5/08 marks the start of the first week of the seedling, it will be watered only with enzymes, for now, it has been 5 days without watering, the substrate is quite moist without the need for watering, the next watering will be with Plagron enzymes. On the last day of the week, it measured 7 cm, it looks good with good vigor without stopping growth, it already has 4 true leaves plus the 2 cotyledons.

JuanHaze_Arg Started watering with Cal Mag from Top Crop since I'm using soft water with an EC of 0.4 as a base. It's well water without chlorine. The plant looks good except for some slight curling on the new leaves, it might be due to pH variation since I didn't measure pH for the first waterings because I was lazy. Next watering with Pure Zyn. On 08/16, watered with 1 liter of water + 1ml of Cal Mag + 1ml of Pure Zyn + 1ml of Sugar Royal + 1ml of Solo Tek Grow. pH: 6.3 EC: 1.2 First watering with fertilizer.

JuanHaze_Arg Growth doesn't take a break; after applying fertilizers/additives, the plant reacted very well. It's looking up to the light without any issues for now. This week, I didn't fertilize the plant at all, just did 2 waterings with plain water. The tip is starting to bend to one side using the LST technique. The first pistils have started to show, she's a little girl💕

JuanHaze_Arg Some tips of the leaves are burned, probably due to lack of water; it's taking a lot of water and I have little time to water. I also ran out of pH reducer and I'm using lemon, which I feel is very unstable and the pH rises again quickly. I hope to solve it soon. The flowers are starting to bathe in resin; they don't have much smell but they look very pretty and happy. On 09/24, watered with power roots, sugar royal, pure zym, and green sensation. Also applied biotrap (foliar) which is the bacteria bacillus subtilis subsp. pumilus, to control Alternaria, Sclerotinia, Oidium, Rhizoctonia, Pythium, Fusarium, Phytophthora, Botrytis, Aspergillus, and other foliar fungi. On 09/27, watered with solotek bloom + cal msg.

JuanHaze_Arg I think this is the last week, the plant has completely changed color just by giving it well water, without chlorine or weird minerals, it has a very pleasant and penetrating smell. The buds are very dense, so I'm maximizing precautionary measures to prevent mold. Throughout the week, I'll upload photos of the trichomes. This grow is coming to an end 😍 10/16 the trichomes are starting to turn whitish, there are fewer clear ones but still no amber heads 10/17 I moved the light back 5 cm to reduce the intensity. The oldest leaves are starting to fall, completely yellow.

JuanHaze_Arg 80 days and still no amber trichomes are showing, there’s one or two but very sparse, I’m just watering the plant from the top of the substrate (1 liter) just to keep it hydrated, but I’m trying to keep the substrate dry so that as soon as I see a bit of ripening, I’ll chop it. The buds look beautiful, big and dense, just like all the fastbuds varieties that never fail! The smell is amazing, I can’t wait to try it. Day 82 of life, it’s harvest time, I wasn’t watering it anymore and the electricity went out for about 8 hours, so I decided to cut it before any mold could develop on the flowers.

Happy Harvest Day!

At 82 days of life, I harvested. I didn't find many amber-colored trichomes, but their smell had changed, and the bracts had already started to close. All the flowers fattened, both the upper and lower ones. Now drying with a humidity between 50 and 65% depending on the time of day. As soon as it dries, I weigh it and return the smoke. Once dry, it is cured in a wooden box that gives off smells of strawberry, earth, and wood. In a few days, I'm going to start burning them!

JuanHaze_Arg In the last days of the plant's life, I hardly watered it due to lack of time and to avoid creating humidity in the environment. Rainy days with power outages played a bad trick on us, which is why we decided to harvest. The flowers look beautiful with purple, green, and yellow colors from the older leaves. A stress-free grow, using new products and seeing very good results. The only bad decision was washing the roots so early; I could have gained a bit more weight with the monster bloom. Once the drying was completed, we proceeded to weigh it, excellent result: from 1 plant, 125 grams of dry flowers without sticks. I'm very happy with the result from just one plant.

How crazy happy those leaves are! The flowers that are coming!
JuanHaze_Arg
JuanHaze_Arg commented1y ago
@Urunascar, I have another criterion, the plant is sexually mature when it starts producing pistils, it's not the same as starting the flowering stage. Notice that the stems didn't break until week 6, which is when the real flowering cycle begins (I'll leave you a photo of the broken or zigzag stem). The plant stretches 2 times its size when it starts flowering, so according to my calculations, it has 10 cm more of stretching left.

@Urunascar, but well, it's my opinion hahaha it doesn't mean I'm right! What I can say is that this week the plant advanced a lot, I'm starting the flower formation this week.
Urunascar
Urunascar commented1y ago
@JuanHaze_Arg, I see flowers forming since they are labeled as week 3 already. A photoperiodic one would be showing its sexual maturity, while an autoflowering one just focuses on continuing the species. Once it reaches sexual maturity, flowering starts instantly; it doesn't waste time because they come from areas where the growing seasons are so short that they have to do everything based on their own maturity instead of relying on the environment. But we'll see, for me, flowering started 3 weeks ago when the stretching began, but well, everyone has their own criteria.
