Day 21: . Wow these girls can grow fast. Having spent decades growing photoperiod strains and with only 1 Autoflower grow previously , I am astounded by the rate at which they grow daily. Watching the fan leaves gain so much size each day and the stems thickening alongside them shows their ability to rapidly cycle through their stages. The Gorilla girls are doing so well and even the mutant#4 is starting to settlenin and gain a nice colour to her. I do think the up pot has affected her height and development initially but hope she will catch up now. I have started to train the #2 GG with a 90° bend to her 5th node. I plan to keep them bent over like this until the lower nodes catch up and begin to develop as mains too. This is to avoid any topping at all as I want to see if this is a viable option with my room size. I used the forefinger and thumb method to gently crush the stem by rolling with slight pressure until I felt it soften enough to apply the bend but not too damaged to slow the growth to any note. Seeing how so many autos have a huge main stem that seems to form the upper part of the good yields from them , I thought I could keep it around but held down to still break the apical dominance. fingers crossed. The Sweet cheese is getting herself set for a burst of growth too I think. she is a few days behind the others but looks happy enough. I am hoping to get to week 5 before they hit their flowering run to gain enough size to fill my space used and seeing their rapid speed , they just might do that. So yeh this weeks been good. This is the first flowering entry even tho they’ve been on a 12/12 cycle for about a week now because I wanted to at least see pre flowers before I started the flower entries. I now see a few but not on all plants. Not long tho I suspect. Everything is going great. These are the tallest plants at the mo and they are just preying too the light. They look so beautiful. I did lollipop them and spread the growth nodes out quite a bit with LSTing and they’ve responded beautifully. It’s such a relief coming from photos to know i can make a couple mistakes if I like and if I don’t make any my god do they reward you and respond well!!! I’ll be going back in at day 42 of flower to tidy up again but they are good for now 👍

Actually, I only count the flowering days from the correct flowering, for the sake of simplicity I will count the days from the position :-). Flowering day 2 Today both were poured with 1 L each and checked for their health. Flowering day 3 Today the humidifier was filled and both plants were sprayed with Canna Cure. Overall nice strain the line has obviously been stress tested as she held up amazingly during a heat wave that saw temp rising to 33c at the worst. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys the old skool skunky terp profile and is looking for something abit milder in effect but still leaves you feeling nice and high.

Week 3 of flower has come & gone without too much stress. Gave the ladies a big last defoliation to help with light penetration and airflow at end of week as they were pretty leafy Runoff was a lot lower than feed so have upped the nutes for this week. Blumats got blocked and have been a pain so whilst I'm not too busy with work over holidays will just hand water them.
