here we go folks another week in. Girls are looking in top condition. x2 stardawgs on one side are sativa dominant and are thankfully set under scrog. Other side is squat and bushier girls (x1 stardawg, x1 Blue dream), figured they don't need Scrog - Blue Dream is either sensitive to Ph fluctuations (less likely) or lacking a bit in Magnesium., So will be increasing cal mag for them she is getting brown rust spots on fan leaves. I will say girls are responding very well to recharge , on every feed I see immediate boos tin canopy. I expect good yield hopefully if all goes well, they are stacking nice !! blueprints for colas 😍 Iv done another big defoliation to girls as well and lolipopped to how I wanted...little bits n bobs never end until girls are finished so... auto pilot mostly from here on. no insects in the room gives me confidence. Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Last Thursday was the start of the fourth week. I didn't update earlier because I was away on vacation. I asked a trusted friend to take care of the girl. As you can see, in the fourth week of the girl's life, it started to bloom. I continue without giving any nutrients. I have biobloom and top max from biobizz at home. Do you think I should use nutrients or should I let it go until the end without nutrients?

This week they'll start growing pistils I hope :p The peyote criticals already started showing pistils, but the Ayahuascas are waiting a few more days I guess. Final week!

I grew all of my plants the same and with 3 strains and only being allowed to have 5 plants total I have to pick the strongest growers and hope they stay strong and this time for me the gamble payed off nicely with a good harvest. I would recommend this strain as it grows fast and did not seem to be a picky eater and took in a lot of heavy feedings... Flowering period started, i added adv nutrients to biobizz line and i just have to understand the reaction of blue dream, i just think there is something too much. I m not sure cause i'm experiencing problems with temperature and humidity too, so i can't exactly recgnize wich is the problem now. i'll update next week hoping the problem will be solved. Let's go!

Start of week 4. Week 3 went well, plant is nute hungry and leaves are a bit droopy, but buds are filling out nicely. She is getting sticky to the touch and she has a light sweet aroma.

Plants are doing well, The 84" inch tent is a must if your not training or topping. I removed all the sacks that appeared last week and I haven't seen anymore show up so fingers cross, I check daily. Bigger tent also helps with heat control as the air has more room to rise. Hope you all like the pictures, I started to take videos as they provide more detail with less work.

Have been demolishing this lady due to its explosive growth. Feeding schedule no changes fan has been going for 24 hrs also on these ladies.

She is growing great and right where I want her. I mainlined her on day 14. I topped her above the third node and left a small stump. The stump will swell which helps keep the main from splitting later in life. I cut everything below and will the down the new growth.

☄️Salut les copains,👋 🍊J'ai récolté 4 plantes au 53 ème jour de floraison. Après avoir retiré pleins de feuilles de mes bourgeons, j'ai pesé 75 grammes de bourgeons sec sur la balance. Been a working week! Defoliated twice! First I did lower fan leaves, waited a few days and snipped the Rest to allow light to reach all news growth! Dynomyco is a banger it’s got these girls so sturdy! Just look at the stems and how much growth I have already and this is just day 28 in veg! A lot more to come! I can’t wait! Still continuing with foliar sprays a few times a day!

Thankfully she survived a low pressure system soon to be named hurricane Melissa...a good water soak is what she got…I.E. no watering for the next 3 days….Gave her a trim and adjusted the LST ties.
