Although it is already 12 weeks old overall, it still looks more like it's in the middle of the flowering stage. The pistils are becoming more numerous, and the buds are slowly starting to compact.

Right after cutting, I removed all the large fan leaves to make the drying more even and reduce the risk of mold. --- 💨 Drying (Vivosun Smart Box) The entire plant was then hung upside down in the Vivosun Smart Box. Settings during drying: Temperature: 19 °C Humidity: 59 % Light: off Airflow: indirect, gentle Smell: stable, no signs of mold The drying process was gentle and even – perfect values for aroma, terpene content, and later curing. --- ✂️ Fine Trimming (Post-Dry Trim) After the drying was complete, I did the final trim on the buds. This means: Cleanly removed sugar leaves after drying Shaped the buds into their final form Removed loose plant debris This results in better appearance, clean taste, and ideal moisture balance in the jar. --- 🍯 Preparation for Curing After trimming, I placed the buds in curing jars – each with a hygrometer for precise control. Curing start: Let the buds sit in the jar "untreated" for 2 days Target RH: 58–62 % Once the humidity is stable, moisture packs (Bóveda/Aramyx etc.) go into the jar. --- 🌬️ Burping (Ventilating) – especially important In the first few days after storage: Open briefly several times a day, also a bit longer if the humidity is too high at first. After 5–7 days, once a day is enough. This helps to break down excess moisture and chlorophyll smells. Result of this week The plant was successfully harvested, gently dried, trimmed afterward, and carefully transferred to the jar. All steps were carried out with care to preserve aroma, potency, and terpenes as best as possible.
