Flowering Week 21: Structural Battles & Rainy Reprieves
Update: 07.08.2025 | Day 150
Hey Growmies,
Man, Week 21’s weather is a pain in the ass – constant rain would’ve wrecked us in full bloom. Thank god the girls are still stretching in pre-flower! Mold can kiss my ass for now. Here’s the wrap :
Support Wars
I hauled ass to the hardware store today – grabbed four 2.1-meter stakes and heavy twine. Blueberry’s dancing past 2 meters like it’s nothing, so I caged her up proper. Durban? She’s splittin’ like cheap firewood under those heavy side branches. Shoutout to Birdmountain – I lashed her split stem together with hemp cord. Ugly? Maybe. Working? Hell yes.
Durban Poison – The Bush Queen
This girl’s exploding like fireworks on New Year’s! New shoots popping out everywhere – it’s a damn jungle down there. I gotta get ruthless soon: Light lollipopping’s coming to clear those lower branches. She needs airflow, not a mosh pit. Hardest part? Deciding what to chop without butchering her. Wish me luck.
Blueberry – The Elegant Giant
My god, she’s beautiful. Textbook structure – like one of those fake plants in grower magazines, except real and stretching past 2 meters. After staking her? Even prettier. If Durban’s the fat-bottom girl, Blueberry’s got that peach-shaped ass. Perfection with leaves.
Silver Linings
Zero pests crawling around – maybe this shitty rain’s good for something. Still feeding nothing but Bokashi juice, and they’re sucking it up like cheap beer.

Day 172. Some strains ended up frosty, smelly and nuggy, so I already have 76 g from first Strawberry, rest should bring some buds too, couple plants will go untrimmed to my friends as presents, one was already given away ... Think I will have like 300 g easy, and my friends got same amount as presents. Not a bad project, with loads of issues, happily almost no care was given or needed, so I count it as a result achieved :
1. I know that Hermie is bringing other hermies.
2. UK weather is only for autos, that lesson should be learnt long time ago, but I still hope to find mold resilient strain...
No updates or other strain harvests will be done, have no time to play ...

Had to bend the top cola over this week as she was way too tall.
She's nicely entered flowering this week. Buds look nice and compact.

Week six of flower, the 1/2 way point, I might have been a little heavy handed on the bloom nuites this week back to back heavy feedings has given me some burn edges on one of the plants. The pots are still heavy from this weeks feeding. I put them on drain trays to help dry them out a little faster as I do not want root rot or PM, They are starting to stack up and bulk up so Ime gonna just water this week and check the run off to see where the PPM is I bet its high, so I will chime in in a few days and tell you what's up. I have spoken.

El inicio es sencillo, la 10th planet se come los nutrientes más rápidos que el resto del ciclo, la Purple majik por el contrario, se tarda un poco más en secar el sustrato pero su desarrollo es rápido.

Just keep watering as it drys. Supporting buds along the way that are getting too heavy. Smells like skunk and gas. Little fruit but not much. Trics still getting thick. Look forward to it finishing. Tricomes still cloudy. Little amber on sugar leaves but it's still going strong. Some leave fading finally to fall colors.

Yessssss HAPPY 420 I'm so greatful to be able to finish this harvest out and this diary. All the Love the BATTLE AXE has taken my heart. Lem dog x BalckPearl ♥️ oufff such a great cross. These flavors are on point. She was soaking in resin by day 49 in bloom. She loved the nutrients, absolutely enjoyed the micro brews I was giving em.
Such an easy trim tooo like it's wild when there's nothing but dank fat dense coals your trimming is easy. It's like deff not trim jail like resort chilling listening to the ocean waves haha 😅

My grow room is a mixture between a SOG and SGROG; they are packed in tightly and any branches that reach up to the light are being bent over and held in place by wire. Today I've added tomorite (half strength) to all the plants. they are still not flowering but there are loads of preflower wispy antenna at every node.
The first plants are Amnesia Haze and the photo is of the two plants, the furthest one away has the broken main stem

Really starting to thicken up! The soil underneath is still plenty moist even though the fan is blowing on it 24 hours a day. The roots will grow more quickly as the water dries up and the roots continue their search for more.

She's really starting to fill out now Folks 😀
I topped all the nodes once again and tied the branches that had grown longer down again.
We have some Extreme Summer conditions starting here from Tomorrow , Temps could reach 50 degrees celcius during the day.
So I will be getting up each morning at 4 am to water everything in my garden before walking my new puppy and closing the house
off to the light and heat for the day.

I discovered a pleasant surprised right. If done correct and effectively, I maybe introducing to the cannabis community a new Haze. Two days ago on July 10th, i transplanted them into a two gallon pots into a tent.

This is the moment all LST fans around the world been waiting for… lol
so week 3 is behind, seems I have some mess-ups with the watering, because I’m really confused about the amount and frequency of watering. the info i get from the internet is contradictory “dont overwater” vs “pour till it runs out”.
Yesterday (day21) finally bought a fan to make them dance a bit, and overnight I noticed a visible reduction in stem movement, meaning they reacted with stronger rooting (I want to beleive 🤓).
and today 25.09 (day22) I’ve performed LST. first thoughts were “not as easy as it seemed on youtube” but then got the hang of it. the biggest challenge is the soft pot having so much give and its hard to fix the wire in place.
btw, used 2,5mm electrical wire, because couldn't find a thick gardening wire. No issues in the process.

and a little “side project”. Always wanted to buy a plant of rosmary and grow it. I found an old aluminum milk(?) pot in the garbage the other day, so decided to make a pot out of it. turned out pretty nice, I think

“The Thrown” which is my tallest plant gave me some issues this week due to the fact that I had to suppress the plant because of the height.
Broke a few branches that I had to tape up which is not a problem. I break branches on the regular around here purposely for growth 😈.
Heavy rain this week, so I had to watch out for humidity issues, which I took care of. On top of that my basement flooded, had to break out the water pump.
This transition week i’m glad I was able to have more time at home to monitor my plants.

Day 50 ( 17 of 12/12 ) Well Everything in the groom is growing Very well, We did have a little cal/mag issue to deal with but thats sorted now , Will be doing another update tomorrow as this one was late . Ive also upgraded the extraction to a 6" systemair , Kinda gutted though as now i have to fork out more on a variac 3 or 5 step type controller for it :(
The mills c4 has been started now . Also 3 of the plants got a bit tall so i Super cropped them
So far these have been a stress free grow props to @dinafem

🥅- Still bending the branches trough the ScrOG-net. That was the last week, branches are stiffening;
🌱- I did my best to flat that canopy, next week I'll remove some leaves and some branches.
