Hi Growmies, This was her last week of heavy feeding. I have already decreased the nutes for the coming week and will probably start flushing her the week after. So that she should be finished by the end of the contest pretty much. Regardless of her age the rootball has shrunk only a little bit. I have also taken her out of the scrog to enable the canopy to open up further and allow more light penetration for the maturation of the buds. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. Day 21 of flower & things are looking good. This weeks been filled with just watering and defoliating. I trimmed off most of the bottom leaves that weren’t getting any light/wasting nutrients. I didn’t do much though because they’re so pretty & I don’t want to take away from their natural beauty. I love these girls. They’ve been super chill & easy to work with. I’m looking forward to seeing how much they grow this next week.

4/18: I transplanted her into a 1-gallon pot and gave her a little water with endoboost, humic acid, silica, and molasses, then I foliar fed her a couple of times. 4/19: I foliar fed again today and gave her a splash of spring water. 4/20: She's growing well now. I fed her her first full-strength batch of nutes..a little early, but fuck it..if she likes it, maybe she'll catch up to the #6 and #7 FFT seedlings. 4/22: I FIM'd her today and gave her about 20oz of water with cal-mag, humic acid, and boomerang and foliar fed with big bloom and fulvic acid. Later, I rinsed off all the plants with a stiff stream of filtered water in preparation for tomorrow. 4/23: Today was BoomBoom Spray day! I just love how visible the growth is the day after a BoomBoom Spray day!😲 Tomorrow I'll spray her down with Axiom Harpin a|b proteins. Tomorrow, I'll probably move her into my little tent for another week or so. Then she's gonna take off... to the great outdoors. 4/25: I fed her a good dose of everything. I think I've decided to grow her and the #7 in my tiny tent and train them out a little bit, so she might turn out pretty nice. That's it for week 3 for this plant..

Esta semana voy a escribir sobre: CARBÓN VEGETAL ACTIVADO CON MICROORGANISMOS DE MONTAÑA. esta es una práctica avanzada pues al menos se necesita tener el inóculo sólido de Microorganismos de Montaña (MMS), aunque al final intentaré dar otras opciones para aquellos que no tengan MMS. Puedes consultar en la semana 3 la manera de hacer Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos (MMS): https://growdiaries.com/diaries/134104-grow-journal-by-defharo/week/725879 El carbón vegetal es un excelente componente para toda clase se mezclas de sustrato, tiene varias propiedades muy interesantes, ayuda a la estructuración del suelo y la creación de humus, es un regulador térmico en lugares fríos, favorece la expansión de las raíces y su estructura de microporos promueve la retención de humedad y nutrientes, se dice que en 1cm cúbico de carbón puede contener de 8 a 30 millones de Microorganismos. Y es precisamente la propiedad de retención de humedad y nutrientes, de la que se aprovecha esta práctica. El carbón vegetal llamado "activado" que se usa en filtros de agua o aire, tiene mala fama entre los aficionados a las peceras, porque se dice que roba nutrientes, principalmente Nitrógeno, esto tiene una explicación y no es un problema para cultivo en macetas, el carbón seco tiende a absorber humedad y los nutrientes que se encuentra en el sustrato o en los riegos, porque es muy poroso, y de repente, tiene que saturar todos sus microporos, pero esto apenas va a tener incidencia en un cultivo. En mi caso lo que hago es mezclar el carbón con los Microorganismos Sólidos y después lo humedezco con agua y melaza para activar la Microbiología del inóculo, dándole la energía necesaria, de esta manera tengo un carbón inoculado con Microorganismos de Montaña, y una vez en el sustrato, con humedad, estos MM, se propagarán. En este caso el carbón, de momento, no captura nutrientes porque está saturado, pero después de unos riegos, será la casa perfecta donde los Microorganismos y los nutrientes convivirán ofreciendo una fuente extra de nutrientes, para que las raíces se alimenten en periodos de escasez de alimento o humedad. Supongo que quien tenga inóculos bacterianos comerciales, podría usar esta práctica para multiplicarlos. INGREDIENTES BÁSICOS: Agua pura: 500ml Carbón vegetal, para usarlo en macetas conviene que los trozos de carbón no sean grandes. 750 gramos. Melaza: 75g Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos (MMS): 225g PROCEDIMIENTO: Se mezcla el carbón y los Microorganismos sólidos. Se disuelve la melaza en el agua. Se humedece el carbón lentamente, mezclándolo bien, porque el carbón vegetal puede almacenar mucha humedad y necesita tiempo para saturarse. Se guarda a oscuras durante un mes en un recipiente cerrado. Hasta aquí la fórmula básica, yo hago algunos añadidos, como se puede ver en las fotos. Añado 260g de Leonardita, que es un carbón vegetal con millones de años y en el proceso de convertirse en mineral, aunque todavía no lo es, es además, la mayor fuente de ácidos húmicos y comparte las propiedades del carbón. Añado Microorganismos de Montaña Activados (MMA) de forma líquida para aumentar la inoculación de microbiología, también un lacto fermento de frutas que aporta muchas vitaminas, nutrientes y enzimas... en la última foto se ve el recipiente después de un mes. Siguiendo el principio de saturación previa de los poros del carbón, para mezclas de sustratos, y sin tener acceso a microbiología, se podría, por ejemplo, saturar el carbón con alguna mezcla nitrogenada para el comienzo del cultivo, después el carbón seguirá cumpliendo sus funciones de estructuración de suelos, creación de humus y para retener humedad y nutrientes. Bueno ahora si que si pronto nos despediremos de estas red hot cookies de sweet seeds ya que están a días del Machetazo. Ya se les practicó el lavado de raíces. Una variedad con unos aromas bastante afrutados y con unas tonalidades espectaculares, no hay más que verlas. Sweetseeds hizo un gran trabajo con esta cepa. . La humedad esta al 45% la temperatura está entre 21/27 grados , y como siempre el ph , ya que es de lo más importante,está en 5,8/6,0. . un saludo y buenos humos fumetillas💨💨💨.

I don't know why I have made such system I just wanted to be sure that I have included every possible option. I'm not sure but maybe I'll upgrade it to rainponic it's not that hard of a job. I'm not using my 100L reservoir this run becose it needs replacement old one made a small flood in my garden. 2. TENT AC Infinity 5x5 3. Airpump Hailea ACO 388 D 70L/min. 4. DAY 3 ROOM TEMPERATURE 26 C Relative Humidity 83% 5/6 seeds are showing signs of life. The 6th one is a little bit slower it's cracked as it can be seen on the picture but it refuses to show it's tale. I believe tomorrow it will be ready. On day 4 I'll put them in the "Root Riot" cubes and after that I'll just monitor the RH and RT until I see the sprouts. DAY4 ROOM TEMPERATURE 24.5 RH 94% 6/6 seeds have germinated so far. Today I'll move them in the Humidity dom where they will stay until they become seedlings and I'll keep them there until they are ready to be moved in the RDWC system and coco coir. In the video I have show my method of preparing the cubes for the seeds next update will be tomorrow probably only for temperature and humidity. DAY 5 ROOM TEMPERATURE 25-27. RH 89-95 I can't believe that I'm seeing first sprout today. Maybe this strain is one who can take a little push 🤣🤣🤣 I'll keep in mind and I'll se how much I can push it. Unfortunately I still don't have CO2 for veg and flower but I can try other different little tricks. I'm happy with this seeds obviously 42 Fast Buds are giving a really quality seeds. DAY 6 PPFD 120 ROOM TEMPERATURE 24.5 RH 92.1 It's day six 4/5 seeds are successfully germinated. Maybe the next two will pop out but for one of them I'm not so sure. Anyway I have one spare seed that I can pop out for the coco project plus I have one Papaya Cookies Auto for the fifth bucket so that's no problem. I have never transferred seedlings in to RDWC so far, usually I make this procedure around day 17-20. While I was transferring them one of the seedlings accidently snapped a little bit but I hope it was not fatal enough and maybe it will survive, only the time will show, anyway I have another one in coco so I can always transfer it in to RDWC if needed. EC is only 115 for today becose of the little bit of ATHENA BALANCE I dropped in the water, so far the roots are not touching the water so i can add the fertilizers tomorrow while I'm fresh. DAY 11 Water Temperature 18C Room temperature 28C EC 120 pH 7 PPFD 200 RH 70% They look nice and healthy still not enough signs of roots for picture but so far the seedlings look fresh. One more day in the Formulex+tap water and they will go in the Athena by day 13. DAY 12 Water temperature 18C Room temperature 27C pH 7 PPFD 220 RH 70 AC 240 Everything is going g quick and perfect. So far this run is going smooth as never. I never had root development that quick as this with this seeds. I'm almost in love with them. After a quick summary with my previous runs I decided to double the AC before tomorrow when I'll change the water and I'll replace it with 6.0 pH RO water and the full athena program for the RDWC. So far so good let's see what the Athena nutrients will show after one week. Formulex is amazing suplement for the first two weeks maybe it can carry most people to whole VEG if it's in soil or coco, but I want the real food in RDWC. So far all the plants have amazing small roots so that means the system work well. Let's see the progress tomorrow, but I beleave in the middle of the week this plants will be already in official VEG period. I don't know how to explain it but its a grower thing and now my seedlings are looking better than the morning. They were looking a little bit "dizzy" if I can use this terminology. So basically in perfect water temperature, perfect fertilizer level and good aeration, there was nothing left beside the light. As I'm saying you can't feed a lot if you don't have enough light. I added the spider farmer SF 1000 EVO over the water container, becose the big fixture is too far from them, but I can't put them under the Voyager, becose my previous grow is in the final week. So now they are on a separate light 🤣🤣 🤣 370-400 PPFD is a little bit much but I beleave they will manage it. After all the plan of this run is to reach 1000 PPFD in the final days. I don't know is it becose of the Athena or just the genetics of the seedling but Im really amazed. In just 11 days from first seedling until today and I'm seeing some crazy root development. I truly beleave that the next set of leaves will be marking the vegetative stage and then we can start the game.
