White Widow – Week 5 | First Signs of Pre-Flower 🌸✨ Light Schedule: 11/13 from seed Room Temp: ~30.7°C Humidity: 57–60% VPD: ~1.89 kPa Water pH: 6.0–6.1 EC: 0.6 Watering Method: Hand watering ⸻ The Story So Far This queen has a story worth telling. We started with multiple White Widow seeds, but due to an uneven heat mat (lesson learned!), only one seed survived, this very plant. She’s been with us from germination, through her careful transplant into a prepared super soil boosted with Aptus Micro-Mix, Mycor-Mix, and substrate buffer powder. From the start, she’s been under an 11/13 light shuttle, and while I expected earlier flowering, she surprised me, holding back, stacking nodes, and keeping compact. This week, in her fifth week, she finally shows her first clear pre-flower signs. ⸻ Her Look Right Now She’s not tall, but she’s perfectly built, beautiful leaf structure, tight internodes, and starting to branch nicely. The leaves are a deep, healthy green and carry the classic White Widow vigor. I took her out for a studio photo session this week, capturing top shots, side views, and close-ups of her perfect symmetry. ⸻ Feeding Update Up to now, she’s had: • Aptus Regulator • Aptus CalMag Boost • Aptus All-in-One Liquid • Aptus Start Booster Now that she’s entering pre-flower, I’ve removed Start Booster and added Top Booster to support the transition. Current mix: • Regulator • CalMag Boost • Top Booster EC sits around 0.6, pH about 6.0–6.1. Even though she’s in rich super soil, this light feeding supports her until the full soil biology kicks into gear. ⸻ Conditions Yes, temps are a bit on the high side at 30.7°C with 57–60% RH, giving a VPD of ~1.89 kPa. Not ideal, but she’s handling it well, no signs of stress. Hand watering continues, and I might keep it that way for the full run to maintain control and intimacy with the plant. ⸻ What to Expect Next Now that she’s showing pre-flowers, I expect a slow but steady transition. Being in 11/13 from seed, she might flower more compactly, with denser bud sites rather than stretching heavily. This phase will be key to see how White Widow expresses under this unconventional light cycle. ⸻ Gratitude & Shoutouts 🙏 Huge thanks to those making this journey possible: 🌱 Zamnesia Seeds – for preserving and sharing this legend of the 90s 💧 Aptus Holland – for the precise, high-quality nutrients keeping her thriving 💡 ThinkGrow – for the perfectly balanced LED bars delivering even canopy light 🚀 Future of Grow – for the powerful Black Series 600W 🧠 TrolMaster – for environmental precision across the grow ⸻ 📸 Check the gallery for close-ups, overhead shots, and a short video tour of this beautiful survivor. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Bubble OG Gum autoflower grew really well. Super frosty colas with a sweet bubble Gum smell. The grow was fairly smooth. I did treat once for mites when she was going into flowering. Beside that there was no major issues. Going to let her sit in darkness for a day or two and giving it one good flush with some cold water. She is about 15% amber. Sorry these pic suck— I broke my iPhone 8 which takes way better pictures than the new 13 pro. Go figure! So these are a touch grainy. The smells coming off this plant are amazing and unique—- like a soapy candy funk. I never grew anything quite like it. I have 3 more seeds and I am going to have to pop them for sure. Not too happy with how this plant grew ultra short without any stretch at all, but I only grew one out. Buds are nice and dense so it has a lot of potential. Chopping in a few!

Hey growers, end of week 12 from seed ☺️ Not much has changed this week, buds are getting thicker, smell is getting stronger. Ive been experimenting with the lighting trying to see if its better to keep it at a mid point all the 12 hrs or keeping it at mid - high for 8hrs and 4 hours on low. Plant is taking up more water when feeding No change in the leaves, all green Trichomes are cloudy, no amber yet QUESTIONS When should I begin Flushing? Any Tips or Suggestions?

Seeing a lot of growth and bud formation. Light defoliation. Afraid to take off too much and stunt the growth! Hoping that doesn't turn out to be a mistake as far as yield goes.

7/4 - When I came into the tent this morning all the Jacks were praying! Even my little Struggling Jack (who is looking great). I have to believe it was the worms. I did nothing else. I watered all with Trinity and RO Water. JH2 has nearly completely recovered from her deficiencies. Her leaves look great. Very little sign of any of the previous damage. 7/6 - I'm amazed at how well JH2 is doing! I had to take a little video to show how well she has recovered. She has nearly no visible damage left to her leaves. She is very green and looks happy. The other two have completely recovered, but they were no where near as bad as JH2 was. I watered them today with just RO water, CalMag, and Extreme Serene as they will get fed tomorrow. I also did a foliar spray of the Extreme Serene on all. 7/9 - Watered with RO water and Molasses today. The Jack Herers look super healthy and happy, even the one that was struggling. I left one of the Jack o'natural. I didn't top her or do any real LST because she had some deficiencies at the time and I didn't want to stunt her even further. Now that she's healthy, it's too late. I'm flipping them to flower next week and that's just not enough time for her to recover. So, I thought I would leave her as is and see how she turns out in her natural, Xmas tree shape!

Hello, Grow Diaries fam! 🌿✨ We’re now in Week 10 from seed, and what a journey it’s been. This week, the grow room has transformed into a breathtaking display of autumnal beauty, with the plants showcasing stunning fades and vibrant colors as they enter their final stages of life. It’s a true celebration of nature’s cycles, and the energy in the room is palpable. Let’s dive into this epic week! 🌟 Week 10 Highlights 🌟 The plants are embracing their last days with grace, each one revealing a unique spectrum of colors and expressions. The transition to 12/12 light cycle continues to push them toward their full potential, all thanks to the Big Demon, who’s still leading the charge with her massive stature. Here’s a closer look at what’s been happening: 1. Moon Rock 🚀: • Appearance: Moon Rock is a sight to behold, with her compact buds now radiating deep purples and blues. The fading leaves add a touch of gold and burgundy, creating a gorgeous contrast. • Maturity: Trichomes are nearing their peak, with a beautiful mix of milky and amber hues. The plant is exuding a rich, earthy aroma that’s both soothing and powerful. • Notes: Moon Rock’s structure remains solid, with every bud dense and resinous. She’s almost ready to harvest, but we’re giving her a bit more time to fully mature and express her genetics. 2. Opium 🌸: • Appearance: Opium has embraced the autumn spirit with a stunning display of fiery reds, oranges, and purples. The buds are heavy, covered in a thick layer of trichomes, and the leaves are curling into a final, beautiful farewell. • Maturity: The buds are at their densest, with pistils mostly curled and darkened. The scent is intoxicating, with sweet and spicy notes filling the room. • Notes: Opium is reaching her final form, with the fade adding to her allure. She’s almost ready to give up her bounty, and we’re closely watching the trichomes to catch the perfect harvest moment. 3. Big Demon 💪: • Appearance: Big Demon continues to dominate, with her towering colas still swelling and gaining density. Her leaves are just beginning to show signs of fade, with a mix of deep greens and light yellows starting to emerge. • Maturity: She’s not quite there yet, still pushing out new growth and adding weight to her massive buds. The trichomes are mostly clear, indicating that she’s got more to give before she’s ready. • Notes: Big Demon is the reason we switched to 12/12, and she’s proving to be worth the wait. Her potential is enormous, and we’re excited to see how much more she’ll develop in the coming weeks. 🌟 The Beauty of the Fade 🌟 This week, the grow room has become a canvas of color, with each plant expressing its own unique fade: • Moon Rock: Deep purples and blues with a touch of gold. • Opium: Fiery reds, oranges, and purples, creating a warm, autumnal palette. • Big Demon: Still mostly green, but with hints of yellow signaling the beginning of her fade. The fade is not just a visual treat—it’s also a sign that the plants are nearing the end of their life cycle. As the leaves lose their chlorophyll, they reveal the hidden pigments underneath, resulting in the stunning colors we see now. It’s a reminder of the natural process of life, death, and renewal, all happening within the grow room. 🌟 Environmental and Nutrient Strategy 🌟 We’re continuing with our tried-and-true strategy: • Water: • TDS: 400 ppm • pH: 6.2 • Temperature: 18°C • Grow Room Conditions: • Temperature: 30.3°C • Relative Humidity (RH): 51% The Lumatek Zeus 465 Compact Pro LED is still our powerhouse, providing the perfect light spectrum for these final weeks. The TrolMaster Hydro X controller keeps the environment stable, ensuring that the plants have everything they need to finish strong. 🌟 Reflecting on the Journey 🌟 As we approach the end of this run, it’s amazing to see how far the plants have come. From tiny seeds to these magnificent, flowering beauties, it’s been a journey of growth, learning, and appreciation for the magic of cultivation. Each plant has its own story, and the fades we’re witnessing now are like the final chapter of a well-written novel. 🌱 Next Steps 🌱 • Monitoring Maturity: We’re keeping a close eye on the trichomes and the overall appearance of the plants to determine the perfect harvest window. • Final Feed Adjustments: We’re starting to consider a flush for the plants that are nearing harvest, ensuring the smoothest, cleanest smoke possible. • Harvest Preparations: With harvest just around the corner, we’re getting everything ready for a seamless transition from plant to drying room. Thank you for following along on this incredible journey. The finish line is in sight, and we can’t wait to share the final results with you all! Happy growing, and may your gardens be ever green! 🌿💚 #DivineSeeds #Week10FromSeed #Week7Flower #AptusHolland #MoonRock #Opium #BigDemon #GrowDiaries #PlantMagic #GreenThumb #Inspiration #LumatekZeus #TrolMasterHydroX Germination method 🌱 @thecannakan Nutrition @aptusholland 🌿 @aptus_world 🌎 @aptus_es 🌍 @aptusbrasil 🌱 @aptus_thailand 🌿 @aptus_portugal 🌳 @aptususa_official 🍀 @aptusplanttechnz 🌺 @aptusplanttechaus 🍃 Ambient controls🎮 @trolmaster.eu @trolmaster.eu.support @trolmaster.support @trolmaster.agro Soil @promix_growers_eur @promix_cannabis LED - @lumatekeu Watering- @autopot_usa @autopot_global Love and attention- @dogdoctorofficial #aptus #aptusplanttech #aptusgang #aptusfamily #aptustrueplantscience #inbalancewithnature #trolmaster #trolmastereurope #trolmastersecrets #Autopots #GreenJoy As always thank you all for stopping by, for the love and for it all , this journey of mine wold just not be the same without you guys, the love and support is very much appreciated and i fell honored and so joyful with you all in my life 🙏 With true love comes happiness 💚🙏 Always believe in your self and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart , be a giver and the universe will give back to you in ways you could not even imagine so 💚 More info and complete updates from all my adventures can be found ⬆️ link in the profile description ⬆️ Friendly reminder all you see here is pure research and for educational purposes only 💚Growers Love To you All 💚

Conclusion and a plant that grows quite slender in bloom doubles if it does not treble its size, responds well to defoliation, it is usually harvested in 8-9 weeks but if it is left a week more mature to perfection. on a scale of 1/10 my vote for this variety is 8.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ==> Comments From Other "Living Soil/Super Soil" Growers Are Always Welcome <== ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ INTRODUCTION I am very excited about this grow as it is the first time with a new setup. I have added a new light and am going to try a super soil grow for the first time. I have a Mephisto Genetics Double Grape between paper towels and waiting to sprout. The space is about 18 inches by 24 inches. The ceiling slopes down, so I don't have much room at the rear of the space. For medium I am using Fox Farms Happy Frog augmented with perlite. The bottom third contains 0.5 pounds autoflower blend of a "super soil" additive from Nature's Living Soil. (https://amzn.to/2PUHc6k) I am using three-gallon cloth pots. The light is a Horticulture Lighting Group 135W QB V2 R-Spec LED kit. NUTRIENTS Tap water pH’d to 6.5. pH lowered using 1.5 TBS unsulfured blackstrap molasses and apple cider vinegar. One-half TBS of vinegar lowered pH about 0.5 points. The medium was very dry. Slowly watered to allow the moisture to be equal throughout the soil ISSUES My while I have yet to put the seed in the dirt, I am concerned about temperatures. They are currently running at about 86F. I would like to get it down to about 80F. DAILY LOG DAY -2: STARTED SEED * Started seed in my traditional manner. Between paper towels soaked in 5% bleach solution, 0.25 tsp/0.5 Cup water. Temp 82F. DAY -1: ACTION *The smallest of tip has appeared. Will put in soil in a few hours. Day 0: SEED PLANTED. * Refrigerator filtered water. pH 6.5. 1 cup (250ml) added very carefully. * Covered with humidity dome. * Light from Soil: 32.5” * Temperature: 82F DAY 1: SPROUT The sprouted seed has shown itself above the soil. A nice Christmas morning surprise. Now I can start counting the days. * Watered with about 200ml of water at pH 6.5. Used apple cider vinegar to lower the tap water pH. * I was pleased to find that my tap water does not contain chloramine. I was reading bad things about chloramine and "living soil." It can kill beneficial microorganisms. All I did was ask my water company and they replied saying "we found no mention of chloramine use in the system:" Just what I wanted to hear. * After looking at other diaries using 250W LEDs, I moved my light down to 25 inches. DAY 2: NO WATER FOR YOU * No watering today. There is plenty of water in the soil and I want the roots to stretch and work. * Working on increasing the humidity and getting more control over the temperature. DAY 3: WATER PLANT, NOT POT. ADDED MYCORRHIZAE. * Following the GrowWeedEasy watering suggestions for Kind Soil * 500ml water at 6.5 pH, around the plant and not across the full 3-gallon bag. * The fan gently moves the seedling to keep it strong. * Had minor unexpected run-off. I hope to avoid that in the future. * Added 1/8 tsp Great White Mycorrhizae dissolved in 100 ml of 50 ml water/50 ml molasses mix. Did not pH as it is such a small amount of solution compares to the watering earlier today. DAY 4: NO WATER, NO PICTURE * Nothing really new. So no reason for a picture. * The soil is dry on top, but the bottom of the pot is still damp. So I will watch it, but I don't expect to water today. * Adding a small intake fan has dropped the temps to about 82F, I think they can live with that. * A humidifier arrives tomorrow and I think that will be my last step to improve the environment. DAY 5: 500ml WATER, LOOKING GOOD * The plant is looking good. The second set of true leaves has a bend, but nothing to worry about. DAY 6: 500ml WATER. NEW HUMIDIFIER * It wasn't really necessary to water today, but I did simply to stay on the schedule I am using. * Given the lightness of the soil and the moving air, I don't anticipate any problems. * Added a humidifier yesterday evening. It's bringing the humidity up, but I need to keep the space closed and I'm a bit concerned about having to provide it with distilled water frequently. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WEEK ONE IN REVIEW ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * Watered with 750 ml pH's tap water. Watered slowly to avoid any runoff. * The plant is looking very healthy. It looks as if the roots are really starting to work as the plant is darker green. * Balancing temperature and humidity is tricky, but I think I will be able to get it stabilized with a bit more work. * Target Relative Humidity: Seedlings - 65-70; Vegging - 40-70; Flowering - 40-50 ==> Beginning Next Week I Will Only Post Twice A Week, Mid-week And End Of The Week. <==
