We've chosen to stay on 24/7 for at least the first few weeks, as we're in a hurry to finish at least the autoflowering plants so we can have some weed for Christmas. Our Karen Kush Auto is the best of the bunch, the queen of our autoflowering plants right now. Anything can happen, but look at the difference compared to the others. It seems incredible that she did all this in 10 days, but it happened. This is thanks to the 24/7 light, a practice that in my opinion is a bit aggressive, but one that growers in a hurry to harvest absolutely must embrace. I'm now going to switch to 20/4, but many are leaving it until the end. Naturally, it changes the nutrient intake a bit, and there are some delicate aspects to be careful about. The chosen soil is the recently released Plagron Bio LightMix, which will allow us a more regular and reliable start without the sudden changes that liquid fertilizers can cause. This is the final week of the 2 week flush. The fade is strong and the buds are thick and sticky. Can't wait to harvest next week. Cure is always tough when they look so tasty.

🌸 Week 5 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week is done and the differences between the phenos are becoming more obvious with every update 👀🔥 Now that flowering is progressing, each phenotype is starting to show its own character much more clearly. Even though all plants are running under the same conditions, their reactions are very different. 📈 Current observations: Some phenos are handling irrigation and feeding extremely well and continue pushing strong growth Others are showing a bit more sensitivity and reacting differently to the same watering routine Leaf size differences are becoming huge now — some phenos are producing massive fan leaves while others stay much more compact Plant structure and overall vigor continue to separate more week by week At this point, 4 out of the 6 phenos are currently looking like strong candidates and fall into what I’d personally consider the “good” category so far 👀 🍃 Maintenance & feeding: I’m still managing the canopy and keeping an eye on how each plant develops through early flower. Hey Leute, kurzes Update von meinem DWC-Run. Wir sind jetzt voll in der vierten Woche und die Mädels fangen richtig an zu performen. Der Stretch legt sich langsam, und die Blütenstände schwellen überall an – die Vorfreude steigt! Nährstofftechnisch fahre ich das Hesi-Programm (Hydroblüte, Boost, SuperVit). Da wir jetzt in die entscheidende Phase gehen, habe ich mich getraut, noch eine fast schon homöopathische Dosis von 5 ml Hesi PK 13/14 hinzuzufügen. Mit einem EC von 1,80 sind wir zwar am oberen Limit – die Blattspitzen zeigen schon ganz leicht, dass sie "gut im Futter" stehen –, aber bei 19 Grad Wassertemperatur und einem stabilen pH von 6,1 fühlen sie sich pudelwohl. Kleiner Dämpfer diese Woche: Meine 24-Stunden-Überwachung hat leider den Geist aufgegeben – Sensor kaputt. Das heißt für mich erst mal "back to basics" und jeden Tag manuell messen, bis Ersatz da ist. Aber hey, so bleibt man wenigstens nah dran an den Pflanzen! Dank LST und meinen treuen Biege-Clips sieht das Blätterdach schön gleichmäßig aus. Jetzt heißt es Daumen drücken, dass der PK-Schub die Buds in den nächsten Tagen ordentlich pusht. Stay tuned! ✌️🌱

Día 31. Las plantas pegaron un estirón muy fuerte estos días. Estoy pensando en pasarlas a floración antes. Pero no quiero mudarlas al principio de la floración, para evitar stress. Sería lindo tener una referencia de cuanto ganan en altura en floración. Si es el doble en altura, no va a haber problema. Pero si es el triple o más, cómo muchas variedades que he hecho, se puede complicar de poco a mucho. Ya corté esquejes para intentar mantener las dos variedades. Voy a ir mirando, pero son 10 días más de crecimiento y de raíces que van a tapar todo.

Day 1 of week 3 flower loads of small buds everywhere will be finishing flower burst feed end of this week then starting the pk9-18 should start seeing some big buds on there soon. Starting to smell decent and seeing loads of growth on the buds everyday!

Strain: Zamnesia – Strawberry Cough Grow Type: Indoor Medium: Coco Coir & Perlite Nutrient Line: Athena Harvest Log Strawberry Cough is officially in the books 🌿🔥 This was definitely a stressful run from start to finish. Between the environmental challenges and the AC issues, these girls never really got the ideal conditions they deserved. That said, they still managed to pull through and produce some really nice buds in the end. I'm satisfied with how she turned out, especially considering everything she had to deal with, but if I'm being completely honest, I know deep down she could have done even better. Sometimes that's just how growing goes you work with what you've got and learn from it for the next run. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to take proper harvest photos as things were pretty hectic and I've been extremely busy lately. Still, the buds came out looking good and I'm happy with the overall quality. This is definitely a strain I'll be revisiting in the future. Once some space opens up in the garden, she'll be getting another run under much better conditions because I know there's a lot more potential waiting to be unlocked. 4/22/2024 Day 29 showing plenty pistils, still in the transition to flower stage. Training may help the plant grow bigger/ longer stems. They can be semi bushy when spread out. Switched nutes to flower bloom from Gaia green 4/26 day 33? Last half of week 5 there has been more of a stretch than there was previous to this. These plants have been mad with a bit of over water and chlorine issues and maybe cal mag 4/27 day 34 end of week 5 The plants both stretched. The one I didn’t train,I can see a visible growth of about double the height, just over this last week. For it being just a pre flower stretch/transition phase for the auto flowers, I am surprised at how many pistils are on the flower sights. The end of last week, I didn’t feel like there were enough pistils to consider it the beginning of flower, and now at the end of this week, it looks like this should be the end of week 1 flower, but they were still stretching.

The plants have reached a height of 1.20m. No deficiency symptoms, no infestation. Everything as it should be.

Another solid week of growth!! The two big plants nearly doubled their height and both had a lot of undergrowth this week! I plan on trying my hand at LST tomorrow. I added more soil into the pots yesterday. I still feel it is too low but I don't want to shock the plants too badly. I watered after lifting the plants up some and adding the soil. I plan on feeding them tomorrow night. The first white pistils have sprouted and there is a distinct aroma of marijuana in the air!! I hope they hold off another week before really start to flower. It's amazing how fast a month can go by! I may not keep the little plant past this week. We'll see if she makes it that far... Here's to another week of healthy growing!! Peace!

Dear diary, Week 7 has brought us closer to flower. Despite some variations in their development, they continue to progress steadily. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 46: Provided a feeding session with a nutrient strength of 1.64ms and a pH level of 5.7. After tying down the tops yesterday, the plants exhibited upward growth again. To maintain uniformity, I re-tied down G.C #2, allowing the other plants to catch up in length. ⏰ Day 47: During the evening feeding session, I administered a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and adjusted the pH to 5.6. This also is the day that marks the final topping session, bringing the total number of tops to 16 for each plant. The plants have responded well to the previous training, and I'm eager to observe their continued growth with the mainlining technique. ⏰ Day 48: I provided the plants with a feeding containing a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and a pH level of 5.7. ⏰ Day 49: During the evening feeding session, I maintained a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and adjusted the pH to 5.6. Additionally, I removed another set of fan leaves to optimize light distribution among the tops. ⏰ Day 50: The plants received a feeding with a nutrient solution at a strength of 1.64ms and a pH level of 5.8 ⏰ Day 51: During the evening feeding session I provided the plants with a nutrient solution at a strength of 1.64ms and adjusted the pH to 5.8. ⏰ Day 52: Administered a feeding with a nutrient solution at a strength of 1.64ms and adjusted the pH to 5.8. To ensure optimal light exposure for all the tops, I removed the last set of old fan leaves and did some more low-stress training on G.C #2 and minor adjustments on #3 to align their heights more closely with the other plants in the tent.

UPDATE - 24th of February 2020 - DRY WEIGHT & LOVE 56g total dry weight, after I gave them a very nice trim. They started curing in glass jars on 19/2/2020 and are currently between 63-68%RH inside. Burping every other hour for couple of minutes. While trimming some dried buds yesterday, I came across a seed, I couldn't believe it, between 😕and 😆, first time experiencing this, interesting, hopefully she didn't lose a lot of her potency and it only happened late. Learning from this: don't change light cycle. I changed from 18 to 21 hours, thought that was a good idea... All this aside, I am sooooooo in LOVE WITH HER 😍I have never grown such a beautiful plant, excuse the photo spam, she deserves a stage, at least for me 😉I can't wait to try her properly cured and get to learn her whole taste spectrum with the low and slow dried buds. Some of them will be processed to oil and edibles. If I find time, I might document some more. Until then, happy growing everyone, peace 🙏 Tried 2 different drying methods: 1. Regular hang dry: For 7 days in small grow tent, darkness at 50% humidity & 20°C/68F - she was almost too dry after 7 days. 2. Low & Slow dry: after washing & hang-drying for 4 hours, she went into the fridge for 7 days in a paper bag, followed by several jar tests until she was at a steady 68% outside; She dried like this in the fridge for 8 days. I didn't trim her too much, since I want to preserve everything for oils. More details: 16. Nov. 2019 - 13.
