With the last heat wave, I had an answer to one of my questions, clearly my chiller is not doing the trick. I have water temperatures that went up to 27°, which is way too much, the plants deprived of oxygen, started to declare several deficiencies due to an assimilation slowed by the lack of oxygen. It is then that a nasty fungus came to say bijour, it is me MR pythium! It was necessary to act, at the risk of having to restart the culture. So I applied hydrogen peroxide and ROOT ROT X, and both products are doing harm to this nasty pythium, things are now back to normal. On the other hand, the plants had a decreased growth for 10 to 15 days, so I'm going to extend my growth for 10 to 20 days, that is to say 1 or 2 soups, I'll choose according to the root development of the plants. Before going to flowering, I have to catch up this delay in order to make a nice crop.

420 Fastbuds FBT2302 Week 4 Weekly update for these two beautiful plants. Both seem about the same height though one is definitely more stacked. I did do a major deforliation on both taking off most bigger fan leafs, even though you can't tell. I'll probably do another mild one as they transition into flower as I'm starting to see pistols forming. I did up the water/feeding to 2000ml every other day alternating from nutes to just ph'd water. All in all Happy Growing

De really took flight from last week, should be starting flowering theese days coming. Just watering them with normal water and some tomatonutrition every now and then. Im happy they look so well in this type of scandinavian climate.

Good growth on them little bit of nutrients burn on the northern lights. Won’t get much out that small one but I just couldn’t let it go

Plants are lovely and healthy still going through abit of stretch but can't complain nice and spaced out. Smell is quite fruity, absolutely no stress on them whatsoever. Even have all the lower leaves still green and lush. Started to add the seaweed tonic now at 3.5ml it's an amazing food for the plants and keeps them on top of critical needs whilst flowering. Buds have started to grow fast, the seaweed tonic is doing its job! An old but great food for cannabis.

Well over all I enjoyed growing their strain the buds were the most dank I've ever harvested .. I thought that my other plant was why the tent stunk but I was wrong This lady has that skunk smell you can taste down the block which I like a lot .. she tasted great and handled all the stresses of life that were thrown at her .. I would like to grow this girl again both indoors and outdoors to really make her shine I havnt done her genetics justice yet till next time ...

This is one of the strains that is doing very well in both the technical/free versions, we are talking about the Fruit Punch Automatic by Zamnesia. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. In this diary we find a plant left to grow straight with a good bit of cleaning at the bottom but essentially left to go. We can see that it is probably the fastest of all in terms of flowering, train because at a certain point you have to start the Green Sensation, not before or after the magical moment of swelling of the flower. Just watching them grow :) nothing special to add. I was considering flushing one plant this week, as I mentioned in my last post, but to be frank I didn't consider the actual flowering time and just wanted everything to be as fast as possible, which is not a good thing on my part. Now I'll feed them 1 or maybe 2 weeks longer (depending on the plant, as I'm trying to give them at least 5-6 weeks of flower (the recommended time for flower for this strain from what I can gather). Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.
