Tequila Sunrise - Week 7: Slug Attack! But This Señorita's a Fighter ¡Ay caramba! This week with Tequila Sunrise has been a real telenovela, growmies! Just when I thought things were heating up with the flowering fiesta, WHAM! Enter the evil-doers, the nefarious villains... the SLUGS! Seriously, folks, when I saw my little señorita on Friday, I swear I could've cried. Those slimy devils had gone to town, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Leaves munched, flower parts devoured - it was a scene straight out of a horror movie! To add insult to injury, I unearthed a whole gang of the culprits - nine fat, brown slugs of all sizes chilling in the soil. The audacity! But here's the thing: Tequila Sunrise ain't going down without a fight! In a stroke of genius (or maybe just desperation), I decided to elevate her to a plastic chair throne. Apparently, slugs are like nightclub bouncers - they don't like high places (gettit?! ;). And guess what? It worked! The next two nights, not a single slimy visitor dared to approach. Victory, at least for now! Despite the slug buffet, Tequila Sunrise even managed to pull off a respectable 10cm growth spurt this week. This girl's a fighter, that's for sure. Weeds are called weeds for a reason, right? They're tough as nails, and Tequila Sunrise is no exception. So, here's the plan, amigos: let's send some good vibes this señorita's way. With a little luck and some continued anti-slug warfare, she might just bounce back from this brutal attack and still deliver a decent harvest. We believe in you, Tequila Sunrise! Show those slimy suckers what a true party queen is made of! Day 59 - Seems since ropping up the res with nutrients the girls have taken well to it. They've started to fatten up considerably and are showing some nice colours. They are hard and sticky.. yield looks well on the first pheno. Day 60 - plants are getting on well, the EC is dropping which lets me know the plants are utilising the nutrients, pH slightly rising which again is a good sign. Leaves are changing colour too. I'll see what happens over the next few days, she should start to fade soon. Won't start flusing yet as she still has more to give. Stay tuned Day 63 - Girls getting on well, strong gassy smell from one of the phenos (left) and really sweet candy like aroma from the second pheno (right) actually smells so dank! 😄 Other thsn that, feeds have been dropped.. currently sitting around 0.5 EC. pH 5.8.. girls seem to like it there but I'd like it a little higher (6.0). They put on a lot of size from one day to the other which was nice to see. Can't complain really, I'll continue for now letting the EC drop and do a res change with plain RO water and let the plants flush fir a couple days. Planning for a day 70 harvest. Stay tuned

Standard week. starting to swell. No issues really. Wish this girl smelled more. My Bakers delight grow has set the bar high and I think this will be just an average pheno. Probably grow this strain from seed again next run unless she gets her dank on. Defoliating heavy around the tops to keep main canopy below strip level. Aim is for even light on every single bud site, or as much as possible

Start of week 5 (day 1) 8/20/25 Flushed with sledgehammer: 8/21/25

It’s so warm today! Of course I pulled all my plants out to spray with spinosad and feed/water. ********* I use a Hudson 2L sprayer. My partner used to work in the film industry and they found this brand of sprayer gets the most thorough even coverage for makeup or whatever movie magic they use sprayers to create. It’s great. ********* The larger gorilla glue has come around but I lost a few nodes. I’m seeing a little PMD, but I’ve been knocking it back when baking soda and water. I’ve been taking scalps, defoliating the big one gently and the little ones need almost daily lollipopping. I’m watching my ph and using more cal mag. I definitely feel like they are two different phenotypes.I have them on individual diets. ********** Some fungal gnats come with the humidity so I topdressed with gnat nix. I don’t believe I overwater so I hope that’s the solution! I think I may wait another week or two and get things more stable before moving to flower. Ab Tag 8 haben wir angefangen sie mit einem Mineralischen NPK Dünger (NPK 10-4-7) zu Gießen . Besonderheiten: Sie wird etwas länger im Vorzuchtzelt bleiben da wir das Hauptzelt umbauen und es erst in 2 Wochen wieder bereit haben. -Tag 23 sie hat das Topping sehr gut verkraftet und wurde heute etwas entlaubt. Sie hat auch Dünger bekommen. -Tag 27 Baustelle fertig und Zelt wieder aufgebaut, nun haben wir die Pablo Escobar ins Große Zelt gebracht. sie wird dann in den nächsten Tagen umgetopft. Wir wissen das man Automatics nicht umtopfen soll aber haben es schon ein paar mal gemacht und es gab nie Probleme. Sie hat sie Weiter gut entwickelt und hat heute wieder Dünger bekommen.

This lady is incredible! Just going to town, starting her fade.... I've switched from the KoolBloom liquid to the dry formula now for her last weeks... and the EC is being brought down. Think I may have two more weeks with her? Certainly not more than 3... REALLY excited about this grow!

The flowering started! I'm very excited to see those first little white "hairs" in my plants. Everything is going well, the stems are getting thicker and flowers are groing very fast. I'll keep you all updated with this, send me good vibes!

What the hell happened here??????????? A solid 50cm vertical growth this week!!!!!!!!!! I thought the weird split this plant had a few weeks ago would be the talking point of this plant not her epic height!! I have bent over her main cola now because of headroom issues. First watering with 6-12-36 powder mixed at 1g/Litre

I've been pulling the top fan leaves to stop the main stem growing any taller and repotted them into 4L pots, once they show roots I'll flip them over to flower. They've all outgrown their mutations but the apple fritter has a slight varigation.

Started a liquid supplement because my dry amendments aren’ didn’t activate my last grow. Maybe I didn’t mix them deep enough or keep the top layer wet enough but i know its the end of my first run & my girls have been STARVING . So even though I did top dress a few weeks ago I still started her on liquid amendments like my oldest girls & she’s handled all the feedings brilliantly. She has pre flower pistals showing but only sparsely so we’re still vegging out. She’s a beast & that’s an understatement. Definitely the biggest & most vigorous auto I’ve ever grown. Liquid amendments I’ve been feeding are still indeed organic so no worries.

First official week of flowering and I can’t be any more exited for these bad girls. I switched their nutrient intake for flowering aswell as their light cycle. One of the autos seems to be showing a minor deficiency hoping to fix it this week as for everyone happy growing😃.

Easy to grow, beautiful structure and plant. Big frosted, dense buds with very good odour 🤤. Would 100% recommend.

So the first week out for this plant and she’s put plenty of growth on since she come out a week today. I’ve been down every 2 days to water I have a little feed of grow to give a little boost. Had no rain few weeks now I think it’s due and she will shoot right up. I still abit of clearing to do to improve more light and air into the spot but so far it’s looking good. That’s all this week, happy growing🌱
