This week has been good, no problems to say of. No changes to the light schedule or nutrients. I do have a Lemon Pie Auto doing something strange stuff it is @ 51 days old and is giving off some mutations in the fan leafs, and she stretched to double the height of the other 2 in the tent. Also has begun to develop a few small brown spots on a couple fans too but other than that all is well.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. First week of flowering. Girls are super happy. And drink a lot. I very much prefer the lower plant count with 8 plants. And I’m probably not going to go back to more than 9 plants. Perhaps will even try 6 or 7. 12 or 16 was a bit of overkill. Maybe with super short veg it has its place. 26.01 first day of flower.

New week new updates. they are doing so well so far a bit slow but I don't mind it since its my first grow and we learn, next time I'll put 2 plants in the tent so light exposure will be better I think I still need 4 week. From today 😎💨

Tag 98: Nachdem die Shogun etwas "geschlafen" und eher ab statt aufgebaut hat, ist sie doch seit ein paar Tagen wieder in den Gang gekommen und die Blüten sind schön weitergewachsen. Tag 102: Es scheint ein Kühler August zu werden, das ist ganz Wunderbar für meine Pflanzen 😍 jetzt in der Endphase.

They’re growing healthy, just a little slower than usual. This may be due to the light being a bit far away and AVT hogging the majority of it in the center. The good thing is that she’ll be done in about a week and a half or so I hope. Otherwise they look happy, Pink kush seems to be the one growing the most, we’ll see if the other ladies catch up.

Alright so we started one overdose and one big demon for the Devine seeds competition. We're going to see which one performs best and enter her in. Which one do you think is going to win? Lol wayyyy to soon to tell. This girl is already on her way, through the soil a day or so before the other but we'll just keep them all on the same time frame. I mixed the Promix and Craft Blend from BAS a couple weeks before planting and we have a nice microbial population going for sure. I also just gave them their first Alfalfa Ferment watering so we should see A LOT of progress on the next couple weeks. Not much else to report on but I hope you guys watch along with me. Topped them this week and now trying some leaf tucking. Only elite 91 roots so far and 18/6 under the spider farmer sf1000

All four seeds sprouted at the same time just within hours. Very lucky for direct in soil germination! In this first week I just tried to make them nice and cozy with warms temps and high humidity. Trying to keep watering in check and small dosing so I don't risk overwatering them. Watered about once every two days when top soil was dry with 50/60ml pHed soft water.

Today marks the 7th week of flowering for my cannabis plant, and it's truly fascinating to observe the changes that are taking place. The stretching phase has officially come to an end, and now the plant is fully focused on developing its buds. I can see that the buds are starting to swell and gain size, which is a promising sign of a healthy flowering process. I've adjusted the feeding schedule with BioBizz products to match the plant's current needs. Overall, the plant looks healthy and vigorous. The pistils are turning a beautiful shade, and the resin production is beginning to increase. I’m excited to see how the buds will continue to develop over the next few weeks. I’ll keep monitoring closely and make sure everything stays on track. Be excited for the coming weeks 💚🌱🌱

So this week I have been defoliating the big fan leaves shading the undergrowth in order to promote lower internodes. I hoped to get the EC in my run off lower to give them a nice flush before giving them flowering nutes. At the beginning of the week I was still feeding with an EC of 1.2 and run off was down to between 1.3 and 1.5 and there is clear signs of nute burns on some of my leaves and all the new growth is very light green. So I'm going to flick them at the beginning of next week. Happy growing! 👊👍
