Week 2 for the solo Afghani went smooth. Looked a little slow to develop her first proper set of leaves, but the root development should help speed up her progression. Still feeding off the slow release 444 and is now regularly drinking about 2oz of water every other day. I also spritz the bottom of the outer cup to keep moisture levels high for stretching roots. She's about 36" from the light. Hoping to get a little stretch to make training easier. Added a couple new pics to get the week caught up. Stay tuned, week 3 starts training.

Last day of veg ( 18/11 ) all plants had a few leaves snipped here and there, plants looking the healthiest I’ve ever seen them, responding very well to the HST given throughout the week, all ready to switch 12/12 tomorrow morning!

Buds continue to swell as the plant heads into week 8 of flower… last feeding of Gaia green 2-8–4 & worm castings was top dressed into the soil and have been feeding plain water to her ever since.

Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

Impressionante la velocità di fioritura delle dutchfem autofiorenti! Sono nel periodo di fioritura inoltrata e si stanno riempiendo tutte di infiorescenze dure, appiccicose e molto resinose e profumate, in giardino sembra di essere in un negozio di frutta fresca! Sfiorano il metro e cinquanta centimetri di altezza alcune e la maggior parte sembrano XL perché le lunghe diramazioni si stanno riempiendo tutte in ogni parte delle piante. Purtroppo il clima al centro Italia è un po' sfasato e ogni giorno alterna caldo umido forte con pioggie fresche brevi e poi ritorna il sole. Gli afidi stanno provando con tutte le loro forze a superare la protezione dell'olio di piretro, sono sotto le foglie gli afidi ma non stanno minimamente indebolendo il vigore delle piante anzi sembrano fiorire più aggressive e la resina inizia ad incollare ogni insetto parassita che sta tentando di attaccare le mie piante. Biologicamente queste varietà sono impeccabili e si adattano ai cambiamenti climatici e ai nuovi insetti parassiti resistono. Qualche lepidottero ha iniziato a mangiare qualche foglia ed infiorescenze ma non è un problema perché manualmente ogni giorno dedico un ora a rimuovere i bruchi. This was 2 weeks into flush...only molasses and TPS signal was given; mixed within tap water ph 6.0.

Plants growing slowly, having a problem with mold and I went and got hydrogen peroxide and that seems to control the area of it when sprayed.

Just steady growing. Day #84 1.5l of water with nutrients. Last time we gave watering with nutrients. Day #87 2l water without nutrients

------GENERAL COMMENT------ Girls are moving forward without troubles, i'm pleased not having to deal with issues. I'm breaking down the feeding schedule like: Sensi Base + Bigbud*(or pk booster) + Recharge > VeloKelp+Natures Candy+Bigbud*. So there is constant feed, every other day mixed in 1.5l water. Once a week i give Cal Mag 2ml /l. Not touching the girls with any HST or stress since I switched to flower. Another nice, trouble free week. She has responded well to the ramp up in nutes and is looking good now she's been defoliated (again!). Seriously girl would turn into a hedge if left to her own devices. Having to really keep an eye on the humidity and empty the dehumidifier twice a day but it's doing it's job so...... can't complain! Have a merry Christmas all!

05/21/24. Going into week 3 flower Things are going pretty good with these girls health and happiness wise. As for Betsy I’m honestly not thrilled with her be the trellis. I don’t think it’s really worked well for her and most of her growth hasn’t even made it to the trellis. Tree has really amazed me. The turn around she’s had is crazy. From a terribly structured, goofy, no branch having weirdo, to a decent looking little plant. I’m glad I didn’t toss her when she was little and I take back saying she wasn’t worth putting into the tent. She’s small, but strong, and the branch I broke has done fine in healing and is growing a bud so yay. :) Haven’t fed as I’ve still seen no reason to.. and somehow still see what seems like a bit too much N, which with no feeding..I’m still not understanding. Just been giving water with silica and calmag as of now. Still have these girls containers up on wood to keep them near the same as the rest of the canopy as possible. Lights at about 75% and 22 inches up. Temperature 73-82. Humidity about 50% I’m not sure what I’ll do as for under trellis cleanup here. B has most of her self under the trellis, so if I removed everything under I think she’d have like 3-4 branches LOL. Tree seems pretty chillen. I don’t think much even needs to be done. Guess I’ll figure something out. That’s about it for now. Thanks for lookin
