Day 36. One girl is shooting the sky other still have that unhealthy look, made my mind - its genetics and i can't do anything. Girls got second feed, looks happy and hopefully will bring some nice flowers. Took some leaves down, spread a bit, but most of work will be done next week, if i will dare ;))) Last time used Root Juice, added Acti-Vera, increased Bloom and Heaven. Day 40. After last feed, girls got small rusty spots on 4-5 leaves total, cut out cal mag for couple weeks. Heavy training, its always tricky to decide what to do with Autos and i have almost no knowledge, but i have SPA Queen and Midget aka Margaret ;))) both different, but bushy, had to clear Midget really heavily and still loads future airbuds left, but maybe ... ;))) Girls drink 3 liters every day, highest rate ever, but i relate it to most powerfull exhaust ever. Some leaves on both plants got strange mutation, like leaf tries to branch out ... Never seen anything like this. But by height i presume it happend on first feed, late Root Juice aftermath ? Nice plants 2 totally different phenotypes, as one was already harvested, and the other isn't even half way of flowering after 10 weeks. Nice trichome production, great fresh and fruity smell, this plant is a pleasure to smoke in the end of the day. Dried her upside down hanging in a tent I have for the purpose, at 25c, 30%RH - Only removed fan leaves, no manicuring, been doing that as I smoke, noticed the bud lasts longer and with a better smell and you end up saving loads of time. Really happy with this smoke, smells like proper weed. Maybe was the best time I dried and cure(ing). Only problem is that I'm smoking more as it's so tasty ahaha. Good stuff, thumbs up! PS - I'll start looking for the "original" Zkittlez to try out and check the differences between them. Update: 12 April 2021 - Chopped down Plant #2 So, finally Saturday I chopped her down. She looked now ready and delicious, although I only notice yesterday how many seeds she has allover the place. She hermied in front of me without noticing, not good at all and need to start looking much better and in detail into the plants. Feel like an idiot now. Anyways, it was a full week! Emptied the grinder collector and pressed it down a little, makes a very nice smoke, light but pleasant, the kind of stuff it keep you going all day without the dumb effect. From all trimming made the bubble hash. Got a little too green as the 220micron bag's stitches slightly opened letting some contaminants in the final mix, hence the green color. This was a hit. in opposition to the grinder stuff, this sent me straight to the moon, really heavy stone effect, even thinking was hard. Reminded me those afghan/ moroccan balls we used to get back in the early 2000's. The weed itself it's still drying so the smoke report will be updated in there. 715g of fresh cut plant is good, let's see the potency and the seeds. Might turn it all into bubble hash, if I see it'll be an hassle to remove seeds. On an earlier bud I've cut and dried, smoked it and you can see pure white ashes in the bong. Ain't that a beauty?

So i have finished LST by end of week 4 and did start with removing low budsights and branches below the cannopy so that i would get more likely big equal compact buds instead of the fluffy not so yum buds. I plan to not defoliate any more than i have right now, unless there's a leave throwing shade onto a potential big budsights i might remove the leave in order to get that budsight maximum light it could have. Growing really is a big learning curve, like by now i have learned so much about to tell signs of the health state of a plant. Like one plant got slightly yellow leave tips, because it got nutrient burnt probably. Like when i noticed the tips i kind of digged into plant health and telling health state by colour, appearance of the leave. Really starting to enjoy the process of growing, like adjusting LST bit by bit, starting to see rewards of it more and more. Also actuelly noticing things that werent the best decision which i can definetly improve on by the next grow. Cant wait to see the end results, i really hope i get terpenes on a decent level. Since for me it became such a enjoyable thing to just smoke weed that actually is tasting lovely

01/19/2022 Stretch is starting, watering till 5-10% Runoff. I will be giving some molasses 2 tbls to 2 gallons water to feed the microbial life in my soil. This should help nutrient uptake from roots, feeding her flowers with microbial chelated nutrients. Changing to 12-12 tomorrow at lights on. Which will continue through flowering week 8, week 9- harvest will go to 11-13 for the fantastic finish! Getting rid of the dark green male he is not adjusting to drought (lack of water) as well as lighter green male. Lighter green can go twice as long without water with no sign at wilting

Here we are with another exciting new product from Zamnesia, Gush Mintz. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. So 28 days in flower everything is going good plants at 3 foot I don't think she will grow in height was hoping she would tho any suggestions would be helpful guys and girls

Day 36: Week 6 off to a start. Everything is looking good. Watered with nutrients(1ml SR, 4ml B). Only had 2ltrs ready and got no run off with this amount. Clipped off 5 or 6 of the lowest leaves that weren’t getting light. Day 37: Watered again tonight as the soil felt dry. Same dose of nutrients as last night. Took 3ltrs before I had sufficient run off, she’s a thirsty one. Removed all ties for the moment bar the tie holding the main stem down but I did loosen this a bit. The plant is very wide so I want the branches to move in a bit as the grow up. Day 38: I had to clip off a good few leaves. I know defoliation is a bad idea at this stage but the plant is very bushy and I’m finding damp patches on leaves. Day 39: I put my hand on the pot tonight and I couldn’t believe how light it was. After taking 3ltrs only two nights ago, it took 4ltrs tonight. Watered with nutrients (1ml SR, 4ml B). Day 41: Watered with nutrients (1ml SR, 4ml B). Still clipping one or two leaves each night because it’s so crowded in there. Plant looks very healthy. Day 42: Six weeks old, where has the time gone. I remember it when it was just a seed. 😀. Plant grew 16cm this week.

The buds are starting to be big and smelly, they are fattening and we can see her grow day after day. We are super happy with this breed and we can't wait to see more from her. Some bigger leaves are full of pollen and that makes us hope for the best. Hoping everything keeps going well 😀

No reservoir change this week in the end, just top ups and nutrient top ups - If I stop being lazy, I might do a complete change out tomorrow (D85). They're getting really frosty now. Can't wait to make some leafy THC snow in a few weeks time after I install my 24w UV-B tube above the canopy. Starting to pack on some lateral buds as well, pretty much mirroring last grow in terms of growth so far, without hacked off tops this time :) Can't really do anything about the wind burn, just got to accept it, otherwise the fan is on too low and doesn't move air properly. I harvested the 2 plants and I’ve got them drying in my 4x8 tent. The temp in my tent is staying between 60F and 64F and humidity is 58%-60% they’ve been drying for 10 days so I’m hoping to get another day or 2 before I start trimming. I’ll post an update once it’s all trimmed and weighed up

Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Dopo 14 giorni di lavaggio (10 con flawess finish e 4 solo acqua a 200ppm) ha preso un colore autunnale stupendo! Tra tutte sicuramente salta molto all'occhio....gli ultimi due giorni l'ho lasciata denutrita in modo che capisse che stesse arrivando la sua fine ed oggi ha ricevuto il suo colpo di grazia 😔..... Pulita completamente da ogni tipo di foglia di zucchero il peso complessivo (senza rami e rametti) sono di 334g...molto molto soddisfatto del risultato e del prodotto finale! Pe. Sto che da me adesso fa caldo e non riesco a fare scendere la temperatura di più la sera per darli un colore un po' più violaceo...ma forse era un fenotipo proprio così, ma non mi interessa il colore onesto, l'importante e il risultato finale e sono veramente molto contento! Grazie infinite a fast Buds per l'opportunità che mi dà ogni giorno facendomi coltivare le loro genetiche e spero che questo diario possa essere di aiuto a qualcuno...un altro ringraziamento va sicuramente alla parte più importante del progetto, il pubblico! I'm so happy with this girl! I'm glad she got stuck in preflower. It gave her time to get nice a big. She's going to be a beautiful beast!! The down side is now my tent is on 12/12. I have all these autos I want to start. I guess I'll get some photos started. Going to clean her up today and top dress her with a new Greengro flowering nutrient I just received.
