Welcome to the end of Week 7, Day 49 of the Fast Buds replenishment grow. The Lemon Pie Auto strain is turning out to be a beauty as usual with the Fast Buds genetics. The tallest two plants have topped out at 28 inches or 71 cm tall. I believe this strain grows anywhere from 70-120 cms tall so I am on the low end of what these plants can do. But the bud sites are decent and the buds themselves are putting on steady weight weekly. I have increased the fertilizer again in Week 7 to five (5) mls per gallon and they are tolerating it incredibly well. I rarely use this much fertilizer when growing autoflowers but Fast Buds strains are notoriously greedy and I love it! I can smell the plants starting to ripen and I can’t wait for this harvest- almost there…until next time. 🔜

She's chunking up so much and just continues to get smellier and smellier! This plant's been getting compost tea and overdrive/ph perfect bloom only until end of this week, then I'll begin flush!

Still forming her delicious buds had a lot of heat problems can’t seem to keep them down below 34 reaching 36c highest! 😮 I’m trying different things everyday but I think if I don’t fit ridge vents or tile vents I’ll be having more dramas with this heat! Unless typical UK gives us rain then I’ll be happy lol I’ve added some examples of my heats in the tents the blue one (blue illuminate) is the bananan glue the first yellow one is the fast flowers second is the autos! I have 2 coolers an extraction fan and another fan to blow the heat towards the extractor but still can’t bring it down! I think I’ll go back to my old way until the summer passes on the next ones which are in germ btw! Looking to rotate a harvest every 4 weeks from when I harvest the autos! Wish me luck please buddies the struggle is real!

😈👹😈👹 DARK DEVIL AUTO®️!!! 😈👹😈👹 Finally getting around to a strain I’ve been dying to grow! I’m hoping for a successful germination rate, keeping my fingers crossed!🤞 For these girls I’ll be growing in two different mediums with a variety of nutrients and amendments from various brands. Of course as always, all inputs are 100% organic. No synthetics allowed in my garden! Two Dark Devils will be grown in Nectar For the Gods #4 Soil Mix and the other who will be grown in Malibu’s Baby Bu’s Potting Soil. Both of these mediums are considered premium and only have the best quality inputs. Both soils also contain coco coir. In my experience I have found that autoflowers grow so much better in soil mixed with coco. Anytime that I’ve grown in heavier based peat soils I get much smaller root balls and root mass in general compared to coco/peat mixed mediums. The NFG #4 is a much lighter substrate than the Bu’s because it’s filled with a ton of perlite and pumice. One benefit is that it also has basalt so it’s considered “paramagnetic”. The one thing I added to the NFG mix was organic Bio-Char blend made from Build A Soils bio char and locally sourced organic bio char. The Baby Bu’s medium is 100% Coco Coir based, mixed with their biodynamic compost, worm castings, bio char, and tons of other beneficial ingredients. This medium is slightly heavier than the NFG even though the NFG is peat and coco based. It really comes down to there being less aeration material in the Bu’s blend compared to the NFG. But hopefully the coco will make up for the lack of aeration compared to the Nectar #4. A benefit claimed by both companies is that their products are properly mixed and stored so the customer does not receive “HOT” soil. The mediums come lightly pre-amended but believe that the Baby Bu’s will have more nutrients than the NFG #4 mix as they claim their soil is an “all mix”. I will be feeding the plants with living oxygenated water, microbial inoculants and light compost teas until the plants look like they need more food. This is my first time growing in both mediums so we’ll see as I grow along! I will also be adopting the northern lights technique that I’m using on my Banana Blaze grow diary! Update: 12/16 All four seeds broke ground around the same time at 9:00pm. 100% successful germination rate. Let’s see how they progress into the vegetative state. Update: 12/18 one out of four seeds may be showing signs of damping off. All four were growing straight as an arrow but today one is slightly slouched and leaves are allowing water to soak in. This usually isn’t a great sign! Update: 12/19 Took the suspected damping off seedling out of her humidity dome and she improved overnight. She is the only one with a greenish colored stem while the other three all have distinctive red/brownish stems similar to other purple strains I have grown. Thanks for stopping by! 😈

Started a little training, cut down the older fan leaves and topped up. I’m adding a tiny bit of root stimulator cause changed the pot size last week so it will to promote a faster growth. Gotta keep this lady low cause the box is quite small. So excited 😆

It smells of nothing but diesel n a very pungent Kush smell the berries nor mango scent hasn’t quite poked thru yet but it definitely smells of quality bud in the veg closet ha may need to upgrade my carbon filter. Gonna move these ladies at the end of the week. Thanks for tuning in!

So I said no more training but I couldn't help myself only second time I've done scrog and I'm trying to find a balance between plant height and light penetration you can see the plant on the right is clearly more defoliated I'm doing side by side comparison to see what works better

Pure Ice cream great really well under the Spider Farmer lights in the Athena nutrition. She did get too close to the light. I should of hst her. My mistake, they will still smoke. Smells great, and is loaded in trichromes. Has a sweet creamy. Pine smell. Everything looks great. I only had minor ph issues during grow. She was thriving for a lot of it. During week 4 (=flowering week 2) the 18 CANNALOPE HAZE plants from DNA-GENETICS grew like hell and started to develop their first white hairs (=female pistils of the plant). The speed in which the little white crowns appear is astounding to me, I LOVE IT! The lamps are now hung at the producer recommended distance of 22 cm (=LUMATEK) and 45 cm (=SANlight) and both run at 100% power (=no more dimming for now!). The difference between the left side (=Lumatek) and right side (=SANlight) can be seen clearly in the videos. The plants on the right under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED-Lamps from SANlight have a darker, healthier green color and have produced VISIBLY MORE FLOWERS then the plants on the left side under the Lumatek PRO 600W. Lets see how this goes further next week...😎

Alles lief gut mit der Shaman bis zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt in der Blüte. Leider beginnt sich an einigen kleinen Stellen etwas Schimmel auszubilden, gar nicht in den Blüten, sondern an den Trieben. Das war mein eigener Fehler, da ich beim Entblättern einige Blätter letzte Woche nicht nach oben ziehend abgezwickt habe, sondern nach unten zur Erde hin gerichtet abgerissen habe. Dadurch habe ich an einigen Stellen das Gewebe am Trieb verletzt, wodurch sich dort Schimmel bilden kann und tut. Ich hoffe es wird sich in Grenzen halten. Es ist jedoch möglich, dass ich durch diesen Fehler zumindest einen der Haupttriebe verlieren kann. Wieder was gelernt. Gibt es irgendwelche Mittel, den Schimmel an den Trieben zu entfernen?Ansonsten bildet sie weiter ihre Buds aus, riecht schon sehr angenehm und entwickelt sich weiter. Es gab ein paar starke Winde und Böen in dieser Woche, dehalb wurde die Shaman vorsichtshalber gegen die Windrichtung angebunden, damit der Topf nicht kippt. Vielen Dank für euren Besuch und passt bei der Entlaubung auf...😫--- Everything was going well with the Shaman until now during flowering. Unfortunately, some mold is starting to form in a few small areas, not on the flowers themselves, but on the shoots. This was my own fault, as I didn't pull some leaves upwards when defoliating last week, but tore them off downwards towards the ground. This damaged the tissue on the shoot in some places, allowing mold to form and grow there. I hope it will be limited. However, it is possible that I may lose at least one of the main shoots as a result of this mistake. Another lesson learned. Is there any way to remove the mold from the shoots? Otherwise, it continues to form buds, smells very pleasant, and continues to develop. There were a few strong winds and gusts this week, so as a precaution, the Shaman was tied against the wind direction to prevent the pot from tipping over. I'm not sure why, but I don't like the way she's growing :( I supposed that my plant problem is the over watering. So no I inserted an air pipe directly in the rockwool cube to give more oxygen to the roots and let they get more nutrients. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Lesson Learned: IN THE NEXT SET UP ADD A STONE WITH AIR PUMP DIRECTLY IN THE BASKET 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 I will leave the pipe all night and see how the plant will look tomorrow.
