As week 5 came to a close and we move into week 6 of flowering, I am having really high hopes for the end result. The buds started to get some light orange hairs which is really nice and they are really starting to thicken up! Towards the end of week 5 the plants started to show early signs of burn on their leaf tips, so I started the week 6 feeding a little early. In week 6 we bring the EC down quite a bit as we get into the late stages of flower. I also recently switch to measuring with EC vs PPM for ease and accuracy. Also at the end of week 5 I did a calibration on my coco for each plant as week 6 nutrients are much lighter. Coco Calibration Method 1. Mix up nutrients. 2. Water plants as normal and measure runoff. 3. If runoff EC is not at or close to the inflow EC a. Water more and keep measuring runoff until the runoff is at or close to the inflow EC 4. Do steps 1-3 for all plants (One at a time) Tips: - I use a shop vacuum that I stick the end in the bottom of the pot saucers and leave it on while I water so it sucks the runoff as soon as it drains out the pots. Then I measure, empty and water again until I hit my targets) For this calibration, I ended up using around 6 gallons of nutrient solution. Watering technique used is to measure runoff at every watering and make sure we are staying as close as possible to the inflow EC. It does not matter how much water you need to put through the pots to get to the desired EC on runoff as that is a benefit of Coco. My main goal is to keep my runoff in check and the plants seem to do better than I have ever grown before! The smell off these ladies are amazing and strong. I don't have a carbon filter and enjoy her smells and aromas all day long as my desk is right next to my tent. There were no issues in Week 5. Plants continue to look amazing and the buds are continuing to bud up and structure very nice! I'm excited to see the end result after the ripening and flush stages. Also the colors that are soon to come! Stay tuned! ______________ We are 5 days into week 6 and the buds continue to grow fatter and fatter on a daily basis. I'm really dialing in my EC and making sure to mix it at 1.1 EC and making sure my runoff is from 1.1-1.4. I started playing with the mix as I am getting used to the grow schedule and how the base nutrients effect the EC. I have found that doing 50% of the low strength calendar hits me right at my target EC and I don't have to dilute my mixture after. The smells continue to be strong and fill my house up. The weight is starting to make the colas lean over which is nice because it's opening up the canopy to get more light in. I'm very excited to see what the buds look like in week 7 and then we are on to ripening stage, flush, and then finally harvest!!

Transplanted into final 5 gal. fabric pits. with LOTS of good root growth. Bottom half of pots are homebrew super soil, with the top half being mix of HPCC promix and worm castings. More to come!

She was getting a little pale so I added a bunch on nutes last week to see if it would help. Doesn't seem like it did so I tested the pH and it was pretty high. Added some pH Down this week and got the pH down to 6. She got a good dose of nutes after that. We will see how the week goes. Hopefully next week she'll be a lot happier. 💚

Day 84: Well after flushing down to 50 ppm the Blue Dream is done. They’re sitting in the dark cool tent for a couple days. They smell so much. Intense blueberry, sweetness. They faded out quite nicely. Unfortunately the upper fans were ruined by lockout. I will be happy to get these jarred up to keep the smell locked down. My carbon filter can’t keep up. There will be more to come in the harvest entry. Happy Growing 🌱

Permanent marker the 1st thing that comes to mind when I think about these seedlings is the stem out of all 12 seedlings I have going in the tent the 2 Permanent Marker seedlings stems are think when the fan blows on them they don't sway at all. 1 of the 2 seedling has some interesting wide leaves Last grow I overwatered and had to toss them because growth got stunted and a bunch if fungus knats got to the soil. This time I'm trying promix potting soil wish I had tried promix hp but the store close by isn't a hudro store and that's what they had. So this time I'm being very cautious with the watering I'm only useing a spray bottle I'm currently giving 45 spray per solo cup every few days when it dries out. This promix soil seems to hold water decent so the 45 spray there is 0 water coming out the bottom the cup yet. Here soon I think I'm going to double the amount of spray to 90 and start letting the soil get dry dry before watering again. Probably will hold off on any nutes quite yet. I'm going from 24/0 to 20/4 light schedule this week. There getting to the point they won't strech as much is 4 hrs of darkness and I'm rasing the light intensity a little it's been around 150 I'm upping it to around 175. Most likely by the end of the week I'll probably be pushing 200 or close. Hopefully I can get them into the big tent soon At this stage I like to alternate having the fan blowing on them I feel it gives them time to recover and get stronger instead of wind stress. Also every few days I will turn the plants so they are facing away from the light making them grow back towards the light I fell it makes them stronger

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. Still stretching 🙄 but I think she's almost done! I will say, she's exactly the shape I was after, and that main cola is going to be my biggest indoor cola for sure. Exciting times ahead!

Lessons learned from week 1 of my first grow so far: the best watering solution I found so far is a mix of distilled water from the store and filtered tap water. with a final ph of 6 and ppm of 20-40. a little ph buffer goes a bloody long way. Use with caution. performing tasks like mixing solution and potting a germinated seed are best performed without a phone (camera) in one hand. the seed germinated within 24 hours using paper towels. I planted after 36 hours. After 24 hours of potting, the stem was already shooting up, and I turned on the lights, set to an 18 hour schedule. I wasn't quite ready for this, so it took me some time to research and get the desired humidity and temperature. At this point I added more nutrient in even quantities of FloraGro, FloraMicro, and FloraBloom, according to instructions. Perhaps a little early though, although after just one 18 hour light cycle this plant is shooting up like a rocket and showing leaves. I bought a fan for the inside of the tent and propped it up on a box, and a humidifier to bring the humidity from 40-50% to around 70%. Since it's a winter grow, I have to periodically increase the temperature to keep it at 25 °C. The intake fan, humidifier, and inside fan are significantly lowering the temperature. I'm also experimenting with finding the right humidifier settings since the humidity seems to increase a lot when the lights go out, and the machine is still new.

Sieht von oben fast aus wie ein sea of green (zufall). Und überall, diese watte Bällchen. Ich bin entzückt! Update. Es wird wasser mit Wasser gegossen, welches ich aus einiger Entfernung per Hand aus einem wasserlauf hole.. 😛 Die Phylaxien der Gelato 41 fast sind anders. Heftig. Sind superdick lang und schnell wieder braun. Bud Körper bilden sich und sind hart. Und das überall. Ok tiefer gleich kleiner. Am 001.009.021 wird sie 71 tage alt. 35 in Blüte. And, what the phylaxien! I mean they re unnormal. Never seen phylaxien growing so massive (i mean pls look at one phylaxie., i think theyre big,) and then as FAST they go brown. Boah difficult to explain. I checked the soil. Wet enough. Looking my Gelato 41 FAST. She is everywhere healthy. I read this is a monster genetic But to see, how it grows! This strain is (so far) different from all the others i made with before. First its a photo. (accidently because I'm a idiot) Than 2 weeks untrained growing. Than not vey lovefull i showed her her new grow direction. And the smell. Of Gelato 41 fast is.. The smell of Gelato, 41 fast. Heavy smell on your fingers from everywhere. Yes. It is! It seems that i had an Sativa dominant phenotype Like the leaves form. (and from some fresh harvested i smoked, with 75 % milky trychomes, and the rest clear... 😛 Heavy uplifting, motivated you start to do something! As you start to moving you discover that you re really stoned). And my 0.36 m² tent is from the GELATO 41 FASTer as i never seen any Cannabis so quick blooming, sticky everywhere. ABNORMAL! in a great way. And i think, soo small arent they. Or?
