Super cropped ORANGE SHERBET FF clones#9

Hi Gromie's Welcome to my Experimental & tent filler grow. 2 Orange sherbet FF FASTBUD CLONES that were left over when transplanting my current other FF FASTBUD clones into final 15 ltr pots. Originally had 4 left over however due to my mistreatment & lazyness at the time, only feeding/watering every 3 to 4 days, which caused slowed growth, the other 2 died & these 2 were brought back from the brink of death! Picture of them in white container next to current flower run. Transplanted from small pots into net pots, plant#1 had 1 small root protruding from pot, #2 had 1 little main root not even growing out of pot! Put them into 15 ltr Dwc pots running 2 airlines & stones per plant to give plenty of oxygen & help combat any root issues & quick growth. Hot temps as it's summer rising the same temps as environment inside tent. Have been placing frozen water bottles into pots to reduce temps. Add 2 frozen bottles per pot, reduced temps right down to around 17°c. Change bottles out twice a day. Temps slowly rise over extended period until ice melts. Experimenting with different training methods, lst ,hst Mainly super croping. Have been Hst bending, pinching stems & roughing them up.which causes the stems to grow stronger, repairing themselves along the way as well as the hst bending, I also go around & pinch/ squash the stems every few inches which really strengthens the stems & branches! In fact I've done no tying down! I've managed to create a flat table top canopy with out tying down to hold shape. Super crop them over, they grow strong stems & hold that shape, as they grow out they always start to grow back up towards the light & I continue the process of bending, pinching & damaging stems so they grow strong & hold shape by them selves. Going well & it doesn't seem to slow them down much at all, given I grow perpetually using separate veg & Flower tents makes it impossible to train through scrog net in veg! Trying to train an established plant through a scrog can be difficult & easy to damage or break branches . However I like the benefits off scrogging so looked at a way to make it easier to scrog already veged plants. This is the training methods I've come up with, taking & incorporating established training methods of various soughts to create plants with flat table top canopy. That way when moved to flower tent I can just lower scrog net over the top of plants to hold them in that shape & train through the net as they go through flowering stretch, making it a lot easier! I've come up with a name for it & I'm calling it the pre scrog ! Method of training. In fact it seems to be going so good that the plan is to see if I can scrog them without a scrog net as they are holding that table top canopy shape & have super strong stems that are solid as a rock, can't squeeze or pinch repaired stems, they are super strong, holding shape & should be able to support the weight of the buds, lower growth already lolliepoped as I don't see the point growing that lower growth out just to lolliepop it & remove it once in flower. It's similar to why I grow relatively short plants when scrogging. I see some growers growing 2 to 4 foot plants which take longer to veg only to lolliepop & remove bottom half to 3/4 of the growth, so you end up with 2 foot of bare lolliepoped stems & branches under canopy? Each to their own/I guess. I grow mine around a foot before putting into flower so there's between 20 to 30 cm of lolliepoped stems under the canopy & a foot or 2 trained through scrog net & above .

Hi Gromie's, week 2 since transplanted into DWC going great powering along #1 has grown a decent sized root system in just 10 days virtually no roots when transplanted , training going good forming a flat canopy & holding shape on their own without the need for lst tying down #2 was much smaller but coming along nicely as well forming flat canopy, continue training them to grow horizontally.👍

Hi Gromie's, these girls are going strong. Continue to H.S.T train them, super croping over & pinching/squashing stems every few centimetres as they grow. Developing a good flat canopy.

Hi Gromie's all going good, continue H.S.T training, nice flat canopy. Also started some new clones, experimenting took 2 & 3 branch cuttings instead of single stem, so first topping will give 4 & 6 branches. Veg tent set up. Daisy chained recirculating hydro (4) at back & up to 6 DWC pots in front. Lined pots with insulated mylar, has reduced temps around 5°c. Making D.I.Y. DWC system for .

Happy New Grow Year 🎈🌿🌹🌺🌻🔥🤩😍 to all my fellow Gromie's may it be a joyful & bountiful & of course quality new grow year. The 2 Orange sherbet clones are powering on! #1 is going to really fill out the space In the flowering tent 🤩 she is going to go nuts in flowering stretch! #2 going great as well. Unfortunately I should have have replanted the clones earlier last week when photos were taken as they were very healthy. But after checking on them 1 night, came in next night to find I hadn't turned the pump back on! & Yeah the heat had gotten to them a bit, have been replanted into final homes, put into veg tent, the 2&3 stem clones have suffered & dying off. Obviously couldn't support all the growth of 2& 3 stems being a bit unhealthy. The single stem clones are all coming back to health. Had planned to grow 3 Afghan kush, which didn't germinate ( seeds mafia) , & thankfully I've got these 2 girls to put into flower in the next few weeks once the flowering run is done. Was supposed to have 4 plants ready to go in & replace the ones that get harvested , going to start some new FF strains.👍

Moved these 2 girls into flowering tent, on 11/1/24. Changed them from 15ltr pots to 20ltr insulated buckets. Gave them a defoliation & lollipoping today .

Plants were around 2 weeks from harvest & both got root rot, unfortunately lost 1, managed to save the other by cutting away all rotten parts. Decided no use continuing to flower as the stress & loss of a lot of the roots would have affected quality & yields. So decided to put her back into veg rather than it going to shit! Damn sad having to cut back a lot of the buds, which weren't any good to smoke as it was to early for harvesting , she's been reveging for a month & has started getting new veg & root growth. Changed her over from DWC to recirculating hydro. Temps have been consistently around 40°c . Exhaust fan struggling to keep temps under 33 to 35°c in the 4x8. Have also changed back to the 4x4, fan works good in this tent. Have increased light wattage from 480 to 730 by moving 2 inner light bars out an inch on the FC-E & putting viperspectra xs 1500(150w) & viper spectra p600(100w) into Middle of the FC-E ,works great & looks as if it were made that way

Yes it's a very confusing diary, spent to long in Cloner, no where to put her , moved to veg tent in small pot & neglected, hand watered when I remembered.her & another clone brought back from the brink of death & put into DWC , around 9 weeks old but looked about 3 weeks. HST trained them for about 5 to 6 weeks in veg, moved to flowering tent, were 5 weeks into flower & both got root rot.The 2nd plant died saved this 1 by cutting away majority of roots. No point continuing to flower her as she would have greatly been affected, so put her back into veg, transplanted into recirculating hydro & been reveging for 7 weeks 46 days. Started getting new vegative growth over the last month.looking healthy & lush now, planned to put her back into flower with the new plants when they are ready to flower, hopefully she will be worth the effort & time when it comes to harvest, sh is around 24 weeks old!!!

Going very well now, continuing to get new vegative growth all over.

Finally got this girl back into flower, she's doing really well now, heaps of regrowth every where. Had planned on putting her into flower at the same time as the rest of the veging plants, but she was getting to bushy & starving the plants next to her of light, so I've got her in earlier as she will take up some space in flowering.

1 of the light timers was switched on full time instead of being on the clock position (12hours) for around 2 weeks+ meaning she started to reveg again!!! Decided to harvest her now as I can't be wasting any more time with her! It's a shame because she was looking good 😭 & All the time that's gone into growing her.

For some reason it won't let me add smoke report or final dry weight. She had a yeild of 135grams dry. Unfortunately a stuff up with the light timer produced slightly looser, airy buds. Quality was ok nothing special.

Decided to harvest her she had some nice buds but unfortunately now she's a bit leafy & airy buds due to the light timer stuff up.
