October 9, 2021: Everything is moving right along. Flowering in full effect! Still showing signs of overwatering, but getting better. I haven't watered them at all this week. They are almost dried out enough to start watering again. I'm learning these 'self watering' pots I purchased basically suck and should be treated the same as any other 3 gallon pot. Lesson learned. I still like the concept of Sub Irrigation Planter (SIP) pots. I'll be building some SIP pots of my own with 5 gallon buckets in the future. Blackberry is 14" tall and has nice purple colors coming in. I did some additional defoliation on her this week and really like the way she is looking now (minus the overwatering) Critical+ is 22" tall and has good bud development. Her leaves are more yellowed, but that hasn't seemed to affect her bud development. I'm guessing we have 4-5 weeks to go until harvest time. I have planted 4 new photo period seeds (new journal up - check it out). I'll be flipping this tent to 12-12 as soon as these two girls have harvested. Until next week... Happy Growing!!! ✊

Day 66 : Continue the juices on NL because her trichomes are 50-50 milky cloudy. She is flowering very well and is like breeders photo. Each bud is like sprouting. She creates seed pockets and these pockets explode with pistils. Its amazing. Breeder suggests to leave her flower for 45-50 days. Until now she flower for 38 days , so yeh 12 remains for sure. I added Calcium because she needs it. Edit Day 70 : I watered her with juices because she stills produces new trichomes. She also started to purple her buds. Her colas are so beautiful. We don't see buds like this every day.

Day 36. One more heavy training session. Girls drink every day a liter at least, have to water them every 2-3 days and its good !! They got second wave of food , lost almost all oldest fan leaves and i think ill drop my plank to 80 g and will flower them next week. Still never cracked is it better to clear bottoms before flip or with first wave of defoliation during flower. This time i'll lolipop them in flower. In middle of last week found some mold on one leave - no waiting and hesitation - Biobizz LeafCoat applied ! Now can't find even smallest issue in them , pure perfectness !!! Still think 10 girls is too much for my setup to bush them out, but i just can't throw away any plant ;)))) Damn - lesson for life !! Leave branches alone after watering !!! Itchy fingers and smallest plant have only 7 proper branches left, thought to move one a bit ... ;))) Girls respond to training and food amazingly - late eves video is a proof ! Day 41. They just fly, thickness of branches is just amazing, leaves regrow faster than i pull them ;))) Today all girls will get bottoms cleaned and heavily defoliated, all tops will be HST'ed and i have power cut next tuesday, so monday - lights out for 24 hours of darkness, wednesday - flower starts ! Had to reposition them and bring in one more drain tray. Attack scheme still 2-3-3-2 ;))) All Blue Dreams hated it, loads of supercroping, one stem split, but it looks like all is finalised for flowering ! Girls got Great White Mycorrhizae tea. Next pure water, later Molasses and only then updated feed, Root Juice out, Bloom and Heaven 2x , all plans and changes ... Happy Growing !

Girl is looking healthy and i transfered moss pellet when i saw root coming at bottom in 11L pot with Biobizz All-mix and about 5-10% coco with clay pebble drainage at bottom. Used mychorizza too in transplant hole to help roots growing at start. Pretty sunny days with little bit rain almost every day but little bit too cold this week. 13-15C at days and few night dropped 4C otherwise 8-10C. Day 1: Started counting veg at 24.5. Day 4: Transfered moss pellet in 11L pot.

Changed watering to every 5 days water until runoff they seem to enjoy it. Signs of Thrips I believe so sprayed them with neem type spray hoping that does the job. Continued with LST and ponytailing. Defoliated a very small amount. Hoping that both Banana’s go into flower next week.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week. It was a good week again for the 5 mainlines, I did some final LST to try and keep the mains level, and I also defoliated the lower leaves to improve the air flow. I am still feeding the same veg nutrients which is just amor si, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will start transitioning to flower nutrients tomorrow and I will gradually switch over to all over flower nutrients by the end of the week. The ladies are about 24" inches tall, but I do anticipate them growing some more before the stretch ends. I am pretty much done with LST at this point, I will just continue to defoliate as necessary and make sure they are enjoying their environment. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Took some nice pictures with my microscope at the begin of this week from a underdeveloped budrot bud. So the other buds might have more and better thc on it. This is the end of the 6th week of flowering. Gave the plants only enzymen, because I don't know how long I can keep them going on flowering with this climate. Therefore I rather not feed them( there are still alot of nutrients in the soil), so they are not full of nutrients when I have to suddenly harvest them. As you can see, they take the nutrients out of the leafs as well, because they don't get nutrients from my watering. Might give them some Humic-Blast as well, in the new week. Will harvest them in 1 or 2 weeks depending on climate + growth of buds. The front plant buds didn't swell that much but the plant behind keeps flowering, not much but bit by bit. It's understandable because the day temperature is between 10-20 degrees fahrenheit and night temp is between 5-12 LOL

[ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.
